Overlocker workshop today with Julia and 4 other lovely learners, was a joy and a revelation. So relaxed, it was a morning filled with laughter, support, tips and tricks. Julia is patient and so willing to share her knowledge and expertise. This is not my first 'learn to use your Overlocker' workshop. It is however the first that has left me knowing I can finally get that machine out and use it. Thank you Julia, and the other ladies.

I love Julia's sewing sessions.
I have attended quite a few different sessions now and she is always helpful and can help me with issues I have on any of her projects. The groups are small and very friendly.

Julia helped me make friends with my overlocker. It was a really enjoyable morning in a friendly atmosphere with a small group of people. I learnt so much more than I had previously.

It was easy to pick up pattern and lots of lovely fabric to peruse. Julia is really knowledgeable and gave me help on placing my pattern on the fabric I bought.

I'm pleased with my pattern, when I enquired about the delivery, Julia tracked my pattern and within a few minutes told me it was on its way.

Pattern was as shown on website. Recommended by sewing teacher as well drawn with good pattern markings. Purchased the preprinted version and it arrived as promised. Easy to fit and put extra vertical darts on front and back. Very pleased with finished result.

Julia is a patient teacher who makes everyone feel comfortable in the classes whatever their level of knowledge. It’s not all serious and many lifetime friendships have been made over the years, because once you start coming you never want to leave.

I can only reiterate what the other ladies on this course have said. I am now much more confident about using my overlocker and the tips and tricks Julia taught us are overlocker lifesavers.
Julia is a very calm, positive teacher who simply believes everyone can produce a stunning garment. And she’s right. Her patient, helpful, easy going demeanour and her gorgeous studio make a day spent sewing under her supervision simply sublime.

The Overlocker Intro session was so helpful. Being an absolute newbie alongside more confident sewers, I was immediately put at ease. The pace of teaching was ideal; I learnt a lot about what my machine can do, practiced sewing techniques and given useful info sheets to take away. I came away wanting to do more.

Very quick turnaround. Great that you can get samples before splurging out on fabric.
