Blue Ribbons response is a LIE! I reported the issue BEFORE I even left the airport. They are a SCAM... do NOT purchase their fraudulent services!
Again, another response full of LIES! I landed in Windhoek on April 2nd. I immediately contacted you, I had TWO CONNECTING FLIGHTS. I could not know the bag was missing until I arrived at my destination. Again, Blue Ribbon Bags is a SCAM! DO NOT USE THEIR FRAUDULENT SERVICE!
Before I purchased this insurance, you stated that there was $500 compensation per bag if not received in 96 hours, my bag was missing for SIX DAYS! You set up your system so that claimants will ultimately be denied. I told you that I was on a remote safari in Africa, without reliable wifi or any means of completing online forms, I gave all the information that was provided to me by the airline and you did NOTHING. The airline ultimately found rhe bag because I had an aritag and repeatedly sent updates when the wifi kicked in. Stop claiming that you did anything to assist, you did NOTHING!

Don’t waste your money. It’s very hard to have back in your hands your suitcase in 24 hours when you travel overseas. I flew a Monday on Tuesday morning the airline confirmed that they found the suitcase at the departure city. They sent the suitcase next day. Meanwhile I was already at another city. So the excuse was “!that case took 96!hours”. . I had to buy clothes, toiletries , etc for 6 days. Definitely I will not be looking for this insurance and obviously will not recommend it.

I traveled from Milan Malpensa to Cairo, departing March 30th. My suitcase didn't arrive at its destination, and after reporting it and exchanging emails, two days later I learned that it was still in Milan. First they said they'd sent it to Cairo, the next day they'd sent it to Luxor, and for days they kept asking for the same information. They took 96 hours, but the customer always had six or twelve hours to respond, or the case would be closed. In the end, the suitcase didn't arrive, and a week later, I picked it up in person in Milan upon my return. The label with my name, surname, address, and email address was still on the suitcase. How is it possible they couldn't get it to me in a week? The only thing I admit they were quick about was the refund, but the problems I experienced during my vacation due to missing luggage were priceless. A negative experience.

Efficient, easy and efficient informative without excessive correspondence
Their “service” is a joke. As soon as a bag is delayed they will give every excuse not to honour the so called delay payments including giving 12 hours to respond to irrelevant info requests when they know you are in transit with no coverage. They will then claim that they will only track your lost bag a “courtesy”. The information the provided us was incorrect half the time and just a delayed “copy and paste” of what the airline was updating anyway. They were ZERO help at all.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY

J’avais personnellement déjà utilisé Blue Ribbon Bags dans le passé lors d’un retard de bagage et, à l’époque, le service avait fonctionné. C’est pour cette raison que je l’ai recommandé à deux amis qui voyageaient récemment.
Malheureusement, leur expérience a été totalement différente.
Ils ont tous les deux souscrit à l’offre avec couverture de 1 500 dollars et ont suivi strictement tout le protocole demandé : déclaration auprès de la compagnie aérienne, ouverture du dossier dans les délais, transmission des informations demandées.
Le premier dossier est MBR2456800. La valise a finalement été retrouvée… mais au bout de presque 3 semaines, ce qui rend complètement inutile la promesse du service censé agir rapidement.
Le second dossier est MBR2456760. Dans ce cas, la valise n’a jamais été retrouvée.
Et le plus incompréhensible dans les deux situations : plus aucune nouvelle de Blue Ribbon Bags en plein milieu du dossier.
Pas de réponse aux mails, pas d’explication, pas de suivi, et surtout aucun signe de compensation ou de traitement du dossier.
Franchement, c’est très surprenant pour un service qui promet une garantie et un accompagnement en cas de bagage perdu. À ce stade, l’impression donnée est que les dossiers sont simplement laissés sans réponse.
Je laisse donc cet avis en espérant que Blue Ribbon Bags se décide enfin à regarder ces deux dossiers :

Parce que pour l’instant, la situation ressemble vraiment à une grosse blague pour un service censé rassurer les voyageurs.

Bag has been lost, contacted Blue Ribbon Bags, they asked for the PIR which I sent them and a few other details. Got an email that looks auto generated to say it's found but the airline are still actually looking for my bag and it's been over 6 days. No help, no reimbursement, no nothing from blue ribbon bags - what a waste! Avoid using this company at all costs!

My clients' ski bag didn't make it onto the plane in Newark during their connection. Lufthansa wasn't helpful at all and the portal just said 'Searching for your baggage'. In the meantime, BRB located the bag in under 2 hours, with an update on the United flight it was coming on. The Lufthansa portal still said Searching for the next 8 hours despite the bag already being in the air. My clients were able to get some rest knowing the bag was en route after the stress of worrying about not having it before they headed to the mountains. They saved me the time and hassle of trying to deal with the airline. I'm very grateful for this service!
