so rude
The problem started when the requested medium/rare steak arrived well done. Instead of apologising, removing it and having the correct order brought to our table without any fuss, Naomi(manageress) chose to dispute the fact that it was overdone(although she did not look at it) and said it was as requested but she would discuss it with the chef. My brother(who was being treated by me for his birthday) then said to her that is was not a matter for discussion as it was clearly well done and not what he had requested. Due to the restaurant being very busy and quite noisy, this was said with a slightly raised voice, but not aggressively. However, Naomi then said 'I am going to ask you to leave. I will not be spoken to like that.'.....a total over reaction to which we were absolutely shocked, as were a couple at the next table. My brother then managed to change his order and we finished our meal in spite of 'going to be asked to leave !' At the end of our meal, we approached Naomi at the desk where I said to her, 'that was totally unnecessary and inappropriate, whereupon she instructed us once again 'leave the restaurant', in front of incoming customers. I cannot believe that she is a manageress possessing such poor hospitality skills......so rude......shame on you. The other waitresses were very polite, the food was good but Naomi spoiled our supposedly celebratory evening !
