Excellent staff service!
I called in at Black's for a headtorch, and was overwhelmed with the choice! I was about to spend a lot on what I thought would do the job, but was advised by John to go for a less expensive option, which was perfect.
The staff service at Black's has always been excellent, amd it was a pleasure to chat with John. I will visit again soon!

Great shopping place for all types of walking/ outdoor gear.
Lovely experience- helpful but not pushy assistant. Quick efficient service by John and also managed to get student discount dealt with by Harrison. We bought a ladies raincoat- not too expensive.

Good choice of equipment
I visit Black’s to buy rambling equipment. Today, I bought a rucksack. There was a good choice in the shop and the people assisting there, John and Raa, were very helpful.

John is the man!
John looked after me in the purchase of my rucksack. He is extremely helpful and has a lot of knowledge of the products through his own outdoor experience. Highly recommend talking to him for your outdoor pursuit needs!

Great experience shoe shopping
Came in to have a look at new walking shoes. John at the Nottingham store was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was patient as we tried on multiple sizes amd made the whole experience stress free and pleasant. We would definitely come back to get more shoes in the future, especially if John is on shift.
