Friendly staff and good value for money
Although the hotel is old and in need of serious refurbishment it is clean and well located and was good value for money. The staff were friendly and did a great job. It seems unfair to single anybody out but special thanks to Nicola who was always available and very helpful.

In reference to decor - with continued investment into the Royal Hotels, we are constantly upgrading and updating - earlier on in the year we refreshed many of our guest rooms for the 2018 season with new wallpaper and paint and we updated many communal areas within the hotel. We do aim to continue with these exciting upgrades however these do take time.

We had a really good 5 days at the…
We had a really good 5 days at the royal Boston from the 19th September. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent with a good choice selection. Can I just congratulate the chef and the dining room staff on the Friday when there was a problem with the gas supply. They all rose to the occasion and we had our breakfast served slightly later but more or less as usual. Well done everyone!!!.

Really enjoyed our stay although we had…
Really enjoyed our stay although we had booked a twin room as close to an elevator as possible and a double room anywhere these were actually the other way around although the oldies did manage it was a bit of a trek for them but they didn’t want to hassle anyone so it was never discussed at reception so they were unaware. The food was good and the entertainment was really enjoyable, will definitely be back again.

Second time to the Boston but this time…
Second time to the Boston but this time was a disappointment. Room was shabby and in need of decorating and fire alarm going off in middke of the night for over two hours and no-one seemed to be in charged and no explanation or apology, will not return to the Boston anytime soon.

With reference to your room, it saddens us that this didn't meet your expectations. Our staff will always try their best to ensure a fabulous holiday is had by all - should you have kindly notified the team of your dissatisfaction - another more suitable room may have been offered to you as a kind resolution.
We would like to apologise for the fire alarms activating in the early hours. We have had a full investigation in to the reason the alarm sounded. On inspection the Alarm engineers have found that a sensor had been removed from a bedroom and thus causing the alarm to go off. Unfortunately we can’t be held responsible for the malicious acts of vandalism that have caused by guests. At no time during the night were guests in any danger, if smoke had been detected or a fire the alarms would once again have sounded.
We hope you are not deterred from staying at the Royal Hotels again int he future - with five fabulous hotels in our group there is plenty of choice for a fantastic Blackpool Holiday.

Hotel not great
The company of Blackpool Promotions were easy to deal with but the hotel was not great.
The food was very poor, often bland and tasteless. Toast at breakfast was always cold and eggs were swimming in fat.
No one enforced where smokers should go to smoke and they were allowed to congregate at the hotel entrance where you would have to fight through the people and smoke to get in and out. There were areas designated for smoking but this was never enforced.

In regards to the food, the Royal Hotels do usually receive extremely good feedback on the excellent standard of food and service delivered. We do have a restaurant supervisor on duty at each meal time, should there be any issues whatsoever we kindly urge guests to please raise at the time - replacement dishes / suitable alternatives would be arranged immediately.
With reference to smoking - the hotel operates a strict no smoking policy - smoking at the hotel entrance is prohibited however some guests choose to go against the rules unfortunately. Our staff will always try and police these areas as best as they can. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Worst Hotel stay Ive ever had
Had my worst hotel stay ever in the Royal Boston. Was told on booking a double and single room that we would need to share a bathroom in the middle of rooms. On arrival it was a single room inside a double room with bathroom at bottom of double bed meaning person in single room had to come into ours walk round bed to get to bathroom,toilet flush did not work so had to be flushed 5 or 6 times keeping us awake everytime loo was used by single room person also had to put kettles of water down to get things away.Single room door would not close and even reporting faults never got them fixed.Had a fire alarm that was badly dealt with for over 2 hours. Must say stayed here lots before and never had any problems but this stay was shocking. Felt manager did not care about any of the issues and the other manager (Alistair) who was on when we arrived was not interested when told about room.Pleased that was the only time I seen him ignorant man with attitude.
I have put in a complaint first in over 10 years going with Blackpool promotions told it can take up to 14 days to deal with which I also find to be a poor service.Will see how it goes and post result.
Had a reply today offering an insulting £50 off next holiday for spoiling this one. Will never use Blackpool promotions again as they dont care about loyal customers. Whole weekend was a shambles and they offer a poxy £50 off they can keep it.Also tried to tell me I was not told bathroom was in middle despite another guest complaining in hotel at same time that she was told same thing on phone. funny how 2 people who dont know each other both complained same thing but Blackpool promotions making excuses and making out we are making it up. Would advise not to go with them any issues will be defended and excuses made.They wont admit to anything. Def not the company I thought they were,

The hotel was so babdly run the staff on front deak when we areived were not helpful , the place was koas as people leaving and arrivibg at same time completely disorganised . The rooms were bog standard and not what we expected , wifi was not available in rooms either which caused problems for the kids , meals were sub standard . There was a fire alarm set off on our last morning it took hotel staff 20 minuets to call fire brigade , disabled people on top floors struggeling to get down , staff going about unorganised and obviously no fire drill training had been given it was a total nightmare . Many people said the hotel has went down hill over the years and that was plain to see ! Waiting staff in dinning room were very pleasant and helpful so they managed that ! The lift was also very small and not suitable for the size of building .

Our laws in England do differ from those in Scotland and the fire brigade will only attend if a fire has been reported to them by the hotel. At no time were any guests in danger.

Our lifts comfortably accommodate 2 persons at a time, which is more than sufficient for the size of the building and number of guests staying.

On arrival we were greeted by a hoard…
On arrival we were greeted by a hoard other holidaymakers trying to get on the coach before we could get off.After that we had fight our way through a crowded reception area to get checked in.Once checked in we were given our room which was small for a twin room there was a tiny shower room with no shelves anywhere for our toiletries .I cant complain about any other aspects of the hotel

Mystery to royal Alexandra
From the very beginning starting with the booking process all the way through to arriving home on Friday night not one part can we fault.
On Monday morning the bus arrived and filled up without a hitch and we left on time. The service stop was perfect as enough time was given without it being a rush. The check in process at the hotel was smooth also and our room was ready on arrival. Room was very clean and spacious and covered our needs. The process of choosing our meal time and menu was spot on and the restaurant staff and choice of menu was excellent. The entertainment provided by the acts was first class and the caberet room was great. The check out process on Friday was easy also and so was the return journey (Cheers Billy) all in all a great time was had once again and looking forward to next time

The holiday was fine good hotel
The holiday was fine good hotel, friendly staff, excellent varied menu in the evening and the breakfast was also very good.Our accommodation was a premier room with plenty of space with walk in shower and very clean.
My only reservations was the bus, we thought we would be sitting together but this didn't happen and there was a couple who reserved seats together but were advised before they boarded this wasn't happening when they asked why the reply was nothing to do with me we weren't happy listening to this anyway the holiday was good but if we couldn't be seated together we would not book again

The hotel was OK
The hotel was OK. Rooms very small and very warm. Found the lifts far to small, I am partially sighted and struggle going up and down stairs, so was dependent on lift. Sometimes had to wait quite a while if there were other people using it. We also reserved a parking space before arriving, when we arrived and given directions to car park we were shocked at how far away from hotel it was, also the fact it was just a bit of ground with no security. Overall we were disappointed.

Hotel clean....beds comfy...great…
Hotel clean....beds comfy...great seaview...entertainment brilliant.....Food and service in restaurant average.... needing bigger portions and some staff in restaurant were very abrupt!!! Hotel managers were very helpful though and spoke to staff in restaurant when we complained. 2nd time visiting Seabank will maybe try another promotions hotel next time.

firstly there was no help in taking our cases up to the room, the shower was covered in mould so we washed in the tiny sink and the dust on top of the curtains was thick. When it came time to leave our names were not on the sheet to say what bus we were going on so we were told to ask again in the morning and still no one new what bus we were to use and was told to jump on one that had the same people that travelled down with us.Then to end our day we were dropped of at the bus depot in the pitch black with not one person to show us the way out of it,we ended up at a dead end. I called out to a man in a yellow viz vest and he told our taxi driver we were there,not saying a word to us. We are 77 and 75 yr old ladies and this was a disappointing from start to finish, We have used Blackpool Promotions before but never will again.

We are to learn that you did not enjoy your most recent stay as much as your previous holidays and are unlikely to return on holiday with Blackpool Promotions. The enjoyment of your holiday is important to us and our staff do work hard to ensure all our guests have an enjoyable holiday. We have sent you a private message via Trust Pilot to provide some further details so we can investigate the issues you raise fully and await your reply.
Although from the details received so far I am unable to ascertain what hotel you stayed in or when you travelled, it is unacceptable for uncleanliness in any of the hotels we offer. If there are any issues and they are reported to reception or direct to Blackpool Promotions they would immediately be rectified or an alternative bedroom would be offered within our hotel or one of the other hotels we offer in order for you to fully enjoy your stay.
With regard to your coach travel home, coach details should be posted in your hotel the afternoon before departure. If there are any errors the hotel staff should contact our office and we will advise. Again, I am unsure what coach station you were returned to however it should have been the coach station that you departed from, we do offer over 50 departure points across the UK and all the main departure points are from main bus terminals which should be fully lit. If you had asked the driver for directions once you disembarked the coach I am sure they would have been able to point you to the taxi stances. As you will appreciate we are not responsible for the lighting in the coach stations however if you do provide further details we will send this feedback to the relevant coach station manager.
Once again I am sorry that you did not enjoy your most recent Blackpool Promotions as much as your previous holiday(s). We look forward to receiving further information in order to investigate and update this response.
