Bad website experience good customer support
I will start and say that the customer support was great and helpful.
BUT the website and checkout process is horrible. I had to make the order 3 times as there was a bug in the system where it allowed me to order to Bulgaria without the pricing limit and then biocare had to cancel my order twice.
Also the website is outdated feels like a 90’s software. Wake up guys :) we have AI in 2026 , create a good website and checkout it’s something worth investing in.
I am a UX designer in profession so i’m not only a client but someone with a lot of experience with product and systems design.
Other than that as I said customer support was kind and patient

We do appreciate and understand that in an ideal world, any ingredient in a supplement which is not actively supporting our health would be left out of the formulation. However, there are occasions where the inclusion of small amounts are unavoidable in order to guarantee dosage and shelf life.
Rest assured that, as with any excipient found in our range, the quantity of magnesium stearate is minimised as low as the stability of the formulation will allow.
Magnesium Stearate is perfectly safe in humans, with no effect on bioavailability. Previous question marks raised over the safety of magnesium stearate is based largely on animal studies, and far greater amounts of it would be required to pose any threat to the health of a human.
We are constantly reviewing our formulas, keeping up with the most recent research and assessing if any safety concerns can be found from the ingredients we use. Fortunately, magnesium stearate, particularly in the minimal doses found in our products, can still be considered safe.

Good News from My Optician!
Well, I had my eye exam today. My optician told me my vision is better than it was last year and I don't need a new prescription. I told him I've been taking Biocare every day. "Keep it up,'' was his reply. And so I will! Really delighted with the news and the product. One more thing- I'm impressed by how quickly my order arrives each month and glad that it's sustainably packaged.

The customer care is great…calls promptly answered, polite and friendly. I was passed on to a nutritionist as I needed information and advice about which particular product would be best for MY needs, and budget. This was super-helpful.
Also, I trust Biocare products. They are ‘clean’, and use good quality, well researched ingredients in therapeutically useful amounts.

I was disappointed with my experience…
I was disappointed with my experience ordering from BioCare.
I paid the full order amount upfront, but when my parcel arrived in India, I was unexpectedly asked to pay additional import charges before delivery. When I contacted BioCare, they initially refused my request and stated that customs duties were entirely my responsibility.
However, after I pointed out that my invoice showed the shipment as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), BioCare later acknowledged that there had been an administration error with the incorrect Incoterms. Only then did they agree to refund the extra duty I had paid.
The entire process required numerous emails, careful review of the invoice, and a significant amount of my time. Had I not noticed the Incoterms error myself, I believe I would have been left to bear the additional charges.
Although BioCare eventually refunded the duty amount and offered a small goodwill payment of £1.40 towards currency conversion charges, the issue took far longer to resolve than it should have. I believe the matter should have been investigated properly from the beginning instead of being rejected initially.
I hope BioCare improves its customer support and shipping documentation so that other international customers do not have to go through the same experience.
Overall, the product may be good, but the post-sales support in handling this issue was disappointing.

As advised on our website, any import duties, taxes, or customs charges incurred when ordering internationally are the responsibility of the customer, as these charges are determined by the destination country’s customs authorities.
In this instance, the issue was caused by an administrative error with the Incoterms displayed on the invoice, which caused some confusion. As a goodwill gesture, we agreed to refund the import charges incurred, along with a contribution towards the currency conversion costs.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the handling of this matter and have reviewed our processes to help prevent similar issues occurring in the future.
