This is my first membership to a gym
This is my first membership to a gym. Many are very expensive but the Better Gym is more affordable with a fantastic app with help and advice . I have only been using the treadmill so far as I am only 4 days into my gym journey. However, I have found the staff to be friendly, access easy with a wide range of equipment to try. As this is my first gym membership at the age of 54, I was very anxious and self conscious, but after my first visit, these feelings faded. It was easy to be in my own zone and focus on what I wanted to do at my pace. I would strongly recommend.

Better Gym in Sidcup is for everyone
I was a member a year ago but had to leave following an operation but I rejoined at the first opportunity. It is like coming home everybody is so supportive. I was pleasantly surprised that the already first class equipment had been refreshed, for anyone who wants a variety of equipment Better Gym at Sidcup is for everyone. On a final note given my history regarding injuries (not gym related 😀) it's good to have knowledgeable staff on hand for advice.

Feels a bit cheeky to still be using lockers that charge 20p per use for members paying £60pcm - surely need lockers that people can just bring their own lock for.
Showers and changing rooms are really basic. One place to put body wash for 6-7 showers.
Equipment is meant to connect to the Technogym app but connectivity issues mean it doesn't seem to work.
Hoping a few of these issues can be resolved so I can provide a more positive review, but currently the standard is lower than gyms charging half the price

SIDCUP Experience …
Great value for 24/7 availability to use the gym . Easy access via my phone no contract which is a big plus where I have used various different gyms in the past.

Lovely gym
I’ve been going to this gym for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier! The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, and there’s a great variety to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes working out enjoyable. I always leave feeling energized and motivated. The staff are always friendly and…
The staff are always friendly and helpful. I always only join for one month a year at Christmas and although there are problems on the first day, they always sort things out for me very quickly. Also the gym is always clean and well maintained.
