My name is George and I have rented a property from Bentley Lettings for 9 years. I rented from Hobdays before and was not happy with their attitude so I tried Bentleys out.

Since I’ve been with Bentleys i have never once had a request for work done ever turned down, or delayed for any reason!

When I first moved in, the washing machine broke down and exspected months of dither and delay. Within two days I receved a band new Bosh washer/drier plumbed in and ready to go!

In the 9 years I've had my bathroom completely refurbished, and was very impressed with the time it took to complete.

David and his team have never bothered me, or caused me to worry whether my property would be taken away from me. I can only say how happy I am, with their professionalism and courtesy.

I have just moved out because I had to go into social housing, and the checkout took approx 15 mins. I kept the place clean but I was pleasantly surprised that, at checkout, David was happy with the state of the place, as he knew there were 9 years of wear and tear. I receved a full refund of my deposit!

If you want to rent I definitely recommend Bentley Lettings.

Bentleys Lettings is an amazing lettings agent. He is very helpful and goes through things thoroughly to make sure the tenant is understanding. Also, on top of that he is very informative and goes through things in the correct way. I would recommend him to anyone in the surrounding area! And will continue to use him.

Outstanding service from Bentleys Lettings. Very knowledgeable about the business and what’s fair and what’s not. He does not get enough credit as he is self employed and doesn’t have minions working for him. Would recommend him to anyone, including vet students who are new to the whole renting accommodation. Do not have a bad word to say about him.

Terrible terrible service, David Ewen really unhelpful and rude. Doesn't seem to care about the standard of the properties he manages and just palms you off when you raise issues. There are a lot of good letting agents in Potters Bar and Bentleys Letting are definitely not one of them. Avoid or use at your own risk, you've been warned.

Recently moved out of a property and asked to drop the keys off to this local agent - this agent had been asked to advertise the property AFTER I have left and he is contacting me now to tell me that I'm not due my deposit back. Has it got anything to do with him? A direct agreement with my landlord I feel...go and stick your nose in elsewhere.
