Bensons bed staff are brilliant and James was extremely helpful and efficient . Prices of beds very good and we ordered bed and mattress .

Upon entering the Peterborough store we were greeted by James in a friendly professional manner. He then asked us what we were looking for. He then directed us towards the 'test' bed. After ascertaining the firmness level we required, James then asked if we were side or back sleepers. He then presented us with pillows for side sleepers. Who knew there were specific pillows for how you sleep. He then directed us towards 4 mattresses that met our criteria. He informed us of the price of each mattress. He then excusd himself to allow us to try each mattress and deliberate on our own. Very professional service.We quickly decided upon our prefered mattress. James returned to see how we were getting on. We pointed out our chosen mattress. We excused ourselves to deliberate and decide on the purchase. When we returned to the store we were again greeted by James. We informed him that we wished to proceed with the purchase. The entire process from our initial entry into the store to completing our purchase was friendly and highly professional.

I was not told that I would be needing to measure my stairs to check if the ordered bedframe will fit within 7 days and if it doesn't I would be charged 20% of my order to either cancel the order or reorder one that fits my staircase. This is absolutely bullocks. When I speak to customer care they said that everything has been communicated via email and they can't take any responsibility and I would need to read all the details in the email. I got several emails I thought it was promotions or I would not need to worry. All I wish was the sale guy in the store made us aware of such kind of problem that might arise due to this. We would have been more on it. It was more about selling than serving the customer and sharing all information relating to this order and the most important one which was missed out while placing the order. If this would be been told we would be more careful about the measurements and the choice of our bed.

The man that help us was great explained everything to my 82 year old mum(the bed was for her)even when mum ask the same question again he explained it.after leaving shop mum said she didn't feel pressured into buying a expensive bed every happy customers I knew bringing her to your shop was rigth as I brought one from you few years ago and was treated the same way.funny enough it was the same gentleman that help me too

Staff were attentive. Few problems with the bill and payment machine but handled well.
