The service remains good but the food is rapidly declining. They’re serving vacuum packed ready meals which is probably no secret but our last three meals have been not far off inedible. Congealed, overcooked pasta, sauce dried up from overcooking. Definitely would have made a better meal at home, so very disappointing as it ruins the whole idea of going out. Prices are now very expensive too.

Today we was served by Gabriel at the strand branch in central London who offered a perfect service. Asking throughout if we needed anything or wanted anything. As well as providing some small talk about his orange and lemon trees which provided a comfortable atmosphere. When serving us it was very good from the moment we walked through the door as well as the top floor staff this was a brilliant service.

The prices are reasonable for the food quality as well.The food was better than I had expected and I will be definitely be coming back.

Please avoid this horrid little place. A woman with blonde curly hair who works there was disgustingly rude to us. We asked for the bill and were told to scan and pay, my partners phone is old and so it can't scan and he told her this, she then proceeded to bang a salt shaker on the table out of frustration and storm off. Eventually the waiter showed up and brought us a bill and card machine as if they were doing us a massive favour. Why is London so disgraceful when it comes to customer service??? The food was beyond basic and coffee was cold. You offer terrible, overpriced food and on top of that we must be subjected to the worst attitudes from staff members. AVOID!!! A pre made pizza from waitrose is better than the junk being sold in this little horror show of an establishment.

Went to Uxbridge branch on Friday evening, restaurant was very empty. When we got our meals we realised why! I had lasagne and it was swimming in water. My husband had pea and asparagus risotto with added chicken. There was no chicken and it was so bland, no flavourings and just looked like packet rice with a few peas chucked in. It actually looked raw! We told the waitress it wasn't good and she did take it off the bill. She said the chef is new and just learning how to make the dishes. We're not guinea pigs to practice your cooking skills on, especially if your charging full price!

We went to Bella Italia at Paddington in London. The staff were very rude, they didn't care about us. We waited for a long time to be served and the food was cold.
Other customers looked upset. We will never go back again to this place.

Having not visited Bella Italian for quite a while, we decided to visit for my wife's birthday and as she was signed up for the email service, received an invite to a free main. We duly visited, and although 30 mins early, we we accommodated to a booth.
Approximately 1 hour 5mins later, we received our starters. I enjoyed mine but the mixed olives were shrivelled up and did not have the fresh look.
We then had the mains, which although tasty, and maybe naive on my part, the Lasagne was just that, a bowl of Lasagne, I did expect at least some garnish but I did feel a little let down.
The wife did enjoy her main.
The desserts were fine for what they were.
At the beginning of the ordering process, we mentioned to the waitress that we had a free main email and so she said we would sort it out at the end of the visit. We duly expected this to be deducted from the bill, but having paid for the meal, we were on the way home and noticed this was not taken off (the top of the receipt had £0.00 unlock so naturally assumed this was the main.
This was not to be.
So overall, a. Mediocre experience and a fairly expensive night out for what we had. Would I go again, not really.

Terrible. Dont come

Visited the Leeds outlet for lunch and the meals were less than average. The pasta was so rubbery I decided to take it home to repair the sole on a damaged shoe. Three meals and three soft drinks for £75 is daylight robbery.

Go to Tesco and buy a £2 frozen pizza is really better than that.
Be away from Bella Italia if you want eat a good pizza

Went to the Briggate restaurant in Leeds with two friends. The restaurant was half empty, so we thought we would get a table. We waited at the 'wait here' sign. Three staff stood chatting at the far end of the bar. Didn't acknowledge us. One girl walked towards us but then ignored us and went behind the bar. We waited about 5 minutes but even though they had clearly seen us, not one of them acknowledged us or came over to us. We walked out, will not be going there again.

I went to Bella Italia in lakeside on Sunday. It was freezing in there. There as no heating and I told the waitress it was freezing but ignored me. Later on she was wearing a thick cardigan herself due to the cold. I was very sick and felt as though I got hypothermia. My stomach also reacted to the terrible food. The pizza was terribly stiff and thin. We kept our coats on because it was so cold in there. I have been very unwell due to cold in there and have a sore and fever since I left the restaurant from the extreme cold temperature in there. It’s a terrible place, cold atmosphere, awful food and the waitress was a miserable woman.

Very disappointed. Asked for a booth and was told they were all booked. There were at least six free booths for the duration of my stay.
Was told at the last minute there was no Buffalo Mozzarella to put on my pasta and was offered pecorino as a substitute! Won’t be coming back.

Group of 5 work mates had a great few hours, food was great and service was exceptional, Joanna from the Mansfield store made sure we all had a great time and nothing was of any trouble for her. Service with a smile

We love Bella, it's a firm favourite with the kids, but now they've brought an App in, you can't speak to anyone order your food and drink from a robot. Come on Bella we come to you for your friendly staff and the interaction that makes it a special night, you're not wagamama's, that's a canteen, you're a restaurant.

At Sherwood Forrest centre parks . I score One because I cannot score it a zero the whole thing was dreadful the host as soon as we walked in was rude to us then we were seated to be told we had to return the next day to pay our bill. When ordering drinks was told it’s Stella , magners or soft drinks as they are in the middle of a menu change this was explained very rudely to us. We know that we are a captive group and knowing what we know now I would have gone to the local shop and had a box of wedges from the warm counter. One of our group the next morning is severely ill and I fully believe it’s from the state of the food she was served. Then when I complained about the tip that is automatically put onto your bill for the service and I wanted it removing the host started kicking off !!

I have used Bella Italia many time, but this the first and last time I used Cambridge Grafton branch. When we arrived we were told we HAD to order and pay using the app. Not something I have get asked to do at other Bella Italias, normally they show me a menu. Also was shown to the "last available table" in an almost empty restaurant, not the nice cosy table I wanted which was given to the next walk in customer who like us had not booked. Unlike us they got given menus, everyone around us had a choice of menu or app. So there we are, no choice of menu or app, no choice of how we paid, no choice of where we sat. But we stuck it out as we like Bella Italia. We had trouble with the app so took us a lot of time to order. Choices we wanted were not available, no lagers available although menu but other people it seems can have lager or whatever they want if they were the special people who don't have to use the app. Thinking we were doing something wrong we managed to get one guy over, he took the phone to show us what to do, he promptly handed it back saying that there must me a problem and he would brings us drink separately. He then seemed to forget and I had to walk around the restaurant to find someone who could give us drinks. So we ate the meal, quality as per normal, everything ok. But when we finish we don't know whether we can go or not! Have we paid, all of it? We think we have paid for the meals on the app, but not sure about the drinks. We couldn't get anyone to come and are now running late for the cinema. We sat there, trying to get peoples attention. There was one guy there called Matt you was cleaning a table, he helped us, he was good one there. This was the younger Matt as apparently there are two called Matt. He did his best to put things right but it was too late. Anyway, it turns out we had not paid for drinks so we now had to pay that by card, luckily we had waited and not walked out. So turns out we can pay by card for drink like normal people, just not allowed to read menus, or pay for food like normal people. If you are looking to turn away the older generation you are doing a fine job.

What happened??? Have been here twice before and had the same meal as tonight, and it was amazing, heaped with massive juicy pancetta chunks and chicken. Tonight? There was 2 bits of chicken and two bits of burnt jerky, with what must've been a full onion and some pasta. Pathetic. When I sent it back to the kitchen the staff and manager couldn't have cared less and it was tough nuggys! . The table next to us waited over an hour for their desserts so weren't impressed either. Will not be going back.

I've been a regular at Bella Italia over the years and its a firm favourite. A good choice of delicious food and value for money. I normally have the set menu and enjoy the pizzas here. I book a table in advance most times. The staff are friendly and respectful. Keep up the good work.

Visited Bella Italia in Stratford upon avon with my wife and daughter, the food was very nice however my gripe really is with the sides and extras, we ordered garlic ciabatta and what a rip off there was 1 tiny half of a ciabatta about 5 cmx4cm for £3.59!!! And a bowl of fries which by the admission of the waiter before we even purchased was not enough for one person let alone to share for £3.99!!!!!!!! And yes there were a measly few crappy crisp like fries in it, when I asked for some ketchup and it arrived and I noticed the amount of ketchup I joked you're being a bit optimistic with the fries to ketchup ratio! In summing up I would only ever go there again if there was an offer for mains on and I would never buy anything sides or extra again! Oh I also had a hot chocolate for £2.99 which was extremely small, beware
