Extremely informative course for EWI.

Thank goodness we discovered Baumit UK and their render options before we went down the traditional render route for our home. It is highly recommended by developers and their site managers but we'd never heard about their products. Such a better product and incorporating the colour of your choice there's no need for painting just jet washing occasionally is amazing and such a cost saving. The help and advice we received form their Customer Service Team in particular Ryan and Jess was so helpful and proactive we couldn't recommend more highly. Definitely the way forward for rendering your home or projects.

I decided to get my home rendered in lime and used Baumit products using a certified Baumit contractor. Now five years after the work was done, the render has been falling off my walls all over my house. I had the render tested by an expert external company and they verified that the final coat of render was cement only. Baumit have blamed the contractor even though it was one of there on certified contractors even when presented with the facts that the render was faulty. Baumit do not sell to you directly but through a supplier and their supplier has filed for bankruptcy, thereby avoiding any claim. They have a warranty but this is not worth the piece of paper it is written on.

I now have to get a new company to provide the lime render and all those I spoke to inform me that Baumit's products are not real lime even though it is marketed as this.

I am now faced with an enormous bill to have the whole job done again as their system has completely failed.

If you are considering having your house rendered in lime, please do some thorough research as I do not wish anyone to suffer the same experience.
