Diane and Chris are an amazing team and every time our Golden retriever is with them, they make him fell so much at home and keep an eye on every little details that we mention. Our doggie keeps very happy and content with Chris and we will definitely be using Barking Mad services again with extreme comfort.

The care taken to place our dogs with the right people cannot be surpassed . Every detail of their lives is noted and then care is based on this information . Everything about our experience with barking Mad has been amazing. Following a horrible experience with a previous boarding facility I was REALLY worried about leaving my 3dogs anywhere else, however from my first meeting with Kathy to them spending their first visit with a couple who clearly really cared about them it was fantastic. They came back home totally relaxed happy little dogs. Can’t recommend this company enough, Thank you so much.

Cath is a pro, so organised, a top communicator and builds trust immediately. Superb at matching my beautiful boy with the best home boarders and knowing from the minute he arrived with them, he was so welcomed and had the best holiday. What a find and one we appreciate so much. Brilliant from start to finish.

Oscar settled really well with his host family for our 19days away and seemed very happy in the photos from his stay. It is really good to feel confident that your dog is in such good hands.

We've used Barking Mad at Hartlepool 4 times now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Tracy spent time with our dog to make sure he was comfortable leaving us (he was and was so excited to see her). She then stayed with him to make sure he was settled with the lovely family who look after him. We get updates and photos that clearly show he's having a great time and being looked after so well so we can enjoy our holiday without worrying about him. We can definitely recommend Tracy to look after your dog.

First time using Barking Mad Northumberland. A huge thank you to Barbara and Caroline for their care, knowledge, reassurance and professionalism. The process was explained to us in detail and all of our questions were answered and our fears assuaged. Our dog spent his first two nights away from us with a handpicked carer. Although naturally we were a little anxious at first, our experience was great. We all enjoyed our few days holiday. Thank you again. Would highly recommend.

We have trusted Barking Mad to look after our dog Cassie since she was six months old and she is now 10 years of age! The service is excellent, with flexible pick up and drop offs at times to fit in with our travel arrangements. It's fab to receive regular pictures while we are away, and its clear Cassie enjoys her own holiday with her hosts. It's so easy to book and the cost is competitive and fair. We wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend Barking Mad.

Having never left our 4 year old Cavapoo with anyone other than family/friends before, Brian made us feel at ease from the beginning. An extremely thorough and professional service, Brian evidently has a love for dogs. He ensured Hugo was placed with a suitable host and having a trial overnight stay meant we knew Hugo would be happy when he was left for our holiday. We even received photos and updates via WhatApp whilst away, which was lovely. Highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to stay at a home from home.

Bella has now been on several holidays with Barking Mad hosts. All have been absolutely lovely and made a real fuss of Bella and ensured she has stayed in her (slightly pampered) routine. It's lovely to receive regular photos and updates, plus a postcard at the end of the holiday letting us know about their fun times together. Caroline and Barbara genuinely care about their doggie clients (& their humans). We can't recommend them enough!

The company made a huge in-depth effort to understand our requirements and needs of our pet in advance of a stay. This included getting to know our pet’s daily routines, his preferences, diet, mannerisms and personality. We were provided an equally researched breakdown of likely hosts. They then armed with this knowledge were able to match our pet with their suitable host. We were given daily updates and a special postcard from the host. We felt our pet was in safe hands and if any problems arose the company was always on hand to sort out any problems. We had peace of mind that our pet was safe, happy and well cared for.

Excellent communication

I have complete trust in Barking Mad and Steph and Malcolm the hosts who look after our dog Buster. Buster has stayed with Steph and Malcom many times and thought that time he has had to have various medications as he is an older dog and from time to time he needs a bit more attention, nothing is too much trouble regards any occasional extra needs, the love and care Buster receives is fantastic and we would recommend to everyone 100% to entrust your dog/dogs to Barking mad and the hosts in our case particularly Steph and Malcolm who look after Buster absolutely brilliantly.
