A big thank you to Joel, Allison, Zoe and Tony at Bargate Homes, Admirals Green in Warsash, for all their help and support throughout our journey so far.
From the very beginning, when my wife and I were first considering buying a property at Admirals Green, they've been absolutely brilliant. Everything has been explained clearly and honestly, and we've always felt comfortable, reassured and under no pressure.
Even when we had difficulties selling our own property, they were understanding, patient and willing to work with us to help things move forward.
What we've really appreciated is their friendly, approachable manner and the way they've kept us informed throughout. Nothing has ever seemed too much trouble, and we've genuinely felt valued and supported.
We're now hoping to exchange contracts soon, and although we're not quite at the finish line, we wanted to say how impressed we've been with the experience so far.

My whole experience with the team (Tony, Joel, Zoe and Alison) at Admirals Green, Warsash, has been nothing but positive. They’ve been so informative and helpful from the very start. They’re proactive and incredibly quick at responding to you. Super friendly and approachable. I would 100% recommend using Bargate Homes again :)

I found Tony Zoe and Joel extremely helpful at the Admirals Green Development. Unfortunately, my sale chain broke and I was unable to continue with the purchase. Everyone was helpful knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Ba4gate homes.

Bargate homes after sales and customer care is appalling. Our driveway is sinking in places and have had to chase them on an almost daily basis for over a month which was met with lots of excuses for not coming out to investigate or will come back to you but never do and you have to chase them again .They eventually did come out and proceeded to be intimidating towards my wife and was aggressive to the point of bullying. She was left to feel violated after what felt like an interrogation asking her the same questions over and over . After they left we then receive an email stating that they would not be carrying out any work as they were adamant we had a skip on our drive causing the sinking even though we told them we hadn’t and the sinking was caused during the summer heatwave and only had a car on the drive in the area that was sinking . They outright called my wife a liar via email. They had also stuck a camera through our back gate and took photos of our back garden to say we had work done to it . What they were trying to prove I’m not sure but is what they did do was invade our privacy without permission . To add further insult they then sent us pictures of skips and skip lorries along with builders lorries with stabilizer legs pointing out to us the position of the stabilizers and skip wheels as though we were stupid and didn’t know what a lorry looked Like. This is the second occasion where Bargate have left my wife feeling vulnerable and unsafe in our home as we had one of there workers carrying our some remedial works who spotted a pair of my trainers and proceeded to put them on and said if they fitted would be having them .It’s such a shame as the house quality is good but they have no customer care and will do anything to get out of having to pay out for something.

Our experience with Bargates at Shepherds Green was really good. Seth, Maddie and Victoria ensured we were kept happy even when there were a couple hiccups. Even after moving in they’ve ensured that nothing’s too much trouble.

The sales team were incredibly friendly, helpful and knew what they were talking about. The site had a walking and dog park which suited our needs. The house was what we wanted with the energy saving features. The site was in the search area we wanted. The sales team then helped us process the purchase of the house at every step including supporting us 2 months after moving in with any issues.

I have been very impressed from the start with the sales team, providing a welcoming, reassuring and knowledgeable approach.

Selling your home is not an easy process and despite waiting longer than anticipated, they maintained supportive throughout, making the process as smooth as possible.

I love the variations of designs on site and the attention to detail/spec within the property. The grounds are exceptional and retain a connection with nature. The homes have style whilst providing a blank canvas for your own, and it does feel like home.

I have been here for one month and the snags that come with any buildings have been quickly responded to by a very lovely customer care team who are quick to take your call.

We have had an excellent service from Bargate builders from the initial reservation to actually moving in Seth, Maddie and Victoria have been a constant support through out the whole process.
They sent weekly emails with pictures and updates to the property we were buying .
Any questions or queries we had they answered immediately and if they didn’t know they would find out and let us know.
This all made the buying process less stressful for us and we’re very happy with our Bargate home .

Our experience with Bargate was truly amazing. They helped us a lot throughout our journey of purchasing a home. As you can imagine there are a lot of questions and concerns that come with the process of purchasing a house. However with continued support from the Bargate team especially the sales department Tony, Zoe and Allison we were supported continuously and all of our queries were answered and any issues we encountered were solved quickly as possible. I definitely recommend using Bargate as even now after we have been in our home for over a month they are still providing support when we need it.

As first time buyers, we highly recommend purchasing a Bargate home, with minimal knowledge about the process we received nothing but clear guidance, explanations, and support from Tony at Bargate. Myself and My partner visited the Admirals Green Development in Warsash on a Saturday morning with no arranged appointment, but we were greeted by Johnathan who was extremely accommodating to this. Johnathan is a great listener and was understanding of our current situation and was able to offer experience and advice in our quest to move from our current home into this wonderful new development. The show home is presented beautifully and the standard and aesthetics of the new builds on first impressions look fantastic. Our experience with Bargate so far has been excellent, we haven't purchased a new build property before and everyone we've dealt with has been efficient and helpful explaining each step of the process clearly. Particular thanks to Seth, Maddie and Victoria for their help and progress updates, and to Stephanie for making the process smoother. We're excited to move into our new home!

We recently purchased our new home at Shepherds Green with Bargate Homes, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

From the very beginning, the sales team – Seth, Maddie and Victoria – were fantastic. They were always on hand to answer any questions, provide regular updates. We felt informed and supported throughout the purchase.

We also took advantage of Bargate's part exchange scheme for our previous home, which made the move so much easier. It removed a lot of the uncertainty and stress that comes with selling a property, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone considering a new build. Bargate also recommended Moore Barlow as our solicitors, and they provided an excellent service throughout the legal process.

Although there were a few delays which meant our moving date was pushed back, the team communicated with us every step of the way. We were able to visit the the property at any opportunity we liked before completion, allowing us to see the progress being made and take measurements for furniture and other items. This made us feel involved and helped us prepare for moving day.

We also met with Tamsin, who guided us through choosing our flooring and helped us visualise how our kitchen and bathrooms would look with all of the fixtures, fittings and finishes. Her knowledge and advice made those decisions much easier.

Before we moved in, Nina gave us a comprehensive handover of our new home, explaining how everything worked and answering all of our questions. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, which gave us real confidence when moving into a brand-new house.

As with most new-build homes, we did encounter a few snagging issues after moving in. However, Bargate's Customer Care team have been excellent. Every issue we've raised has been logged promptly, contractors have attended as arranged, and repairs or replacements have been carried out efficiently. The aftercare has been just as impressive as the buying experience.

Overall, we've had a great experience with Bargate Homes and are absolutely delighted with our new home at Shepherds Green. We'd happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new-build property.

We came across Bargate at Shepherds Green when viewing other properties for sale in the area and visited their sales office unannounced to be greeted by Maddie's friendly face, ready smile and warm welcome.
She offered help and advice and arranged a site visit to see several plots.
After two further site visits we are in the process of buying and have found the service from the sales team of Seth, Maddie and Victoria to be professional, informative and helpful.
Answers to our questions were either given immediately or, if needs be, someone would find out the answer and report back later.
On one occasion, Theo (a trainee on a learning curve!) joined us. He was courteous, respectful and attentive to our needs. Theo, undoubtedly, will be an asset to any organisation which employs him.
We look forward to completing the purchase satisfactorily with the help of the staff at Shepherds Green.

We brought our bargate home in 2022

They promised us there would be no parking on the roads. We have crossroads with no give way so people go down it at 40mph on the wrong side of the road without stopping. We have people who are parking on extremely dangerous places like on the crossroad taking our visibility to zero. I cannot safely leave my house most days because of how bad the parking is.

We complained for years. Not just us but many on the estate. The estate managements idea was a parking enforcement company. Everybody was up in arms so they dropped it

That’s it. The other day the access to the estate was blocked. No one could go in or out because someone had stopped right in the middle of the road. What’s Bargate answer? Nothing,….had someone been in cardiac arrest that would have stopped them for 15 mins. Cardiac arrest is a cat 1 response of around 8mine and adding on 15 would have made a huge difference with someone in cardiac arrest.

No bollsrds. Nothing. No white lines. I’ve written emails saying someone will get hurt on the crossroads as not only is there no road lines etc or give ways there’s also people parking on it so you have zero visibility looking at it

Bargate seems to not want to actually do anything other than the parking management which none of us wanted. They went from zero to 100

They refuse to do anything about the DANGEROUS parking. Not the lazy or inconsiderate. But the actual dangerous parking which would impede emergency vehicles. I have begged and begged for help. I even got the MP involved and Bargate still haven’t helped with the parking

Wouldn’t recommend at all

Staff were extremely helpful (Jonathan and Joel) and really worked hard to help us get the home we wanted. Incredibly friendly and accommodating, really knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. Quality of the homes and the estate itself is superb. Other developers in similar price range nowhere close on quality or customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend Bargate!
