We are sorry to hear you feel this way, but this review does not reflect the events accurately. Conveniently, your screen shots don’t show the entirety of your conversation with us either.

We are surprised you want to make your business with Bang Tidy public but now we are forced to reply and highlight the issues you created from your lack of honesty.

You initially requested an end of tenancy clean of your studio apartment via our website.

So that we could quote more accurately we requested that you send a video of the apartment. This video evidenced a one bed apartment and not a studio as you originally described.

The apartment you wished to be cleaned appeared too be clean and in good order.

For this reason we reduced our cleaning time from 7 hours of cleaning to 5 hours of cleaning. We also added a professional oven clean with hob and extractor. The total for this work was £235+VAT = £282.

You were happy with this quote and accepted it.

Our team were instructed not to bring all of their cleaning kit into the property and make sure the job was achievable. With you not being honest about the size of the property we wanted to check you the clean was as you had described.

The teams full cleaning equipment was in the car disproving your claim they didn’t have any kit.

On arrival, our fully equipped team immediately noticed the property was in a much worse condition than shown in the video.

When we compared the video you sent to the pictures our team obtained it transpired that again you hadn’t been truthful. The video you originally sent appeared to be a pre tenancy video of the apartment prior to you moving in and not as it was at the end of your tenancy.

Having only 5 hours made the clean unachievable. Understandably, this required additional cleaning time, which was explained to you.

At this point, you became verbally abusive towards our staff and began recording them without their consent, claiming it was “for a solicitor.” For the safety of our staff, we instructed them to leave.

You then contacted our office, where we again explained we were still happy to complete the clean, but additional time was necessary that you must pay for. You instead demanded a full refund, which was processed the next working day.

Despite trying to get a one bedroom apartment cleaned for the price of a studio and then sending a pre tenancy video to get the price further reduced you received a full refund.

We were well within in our rights to withhold some of the funds to cover the costs incurred as a result of your untruths. However, we chose to to refund you in full.

Our business prides itself on transparency, professionalism, and fair service. While we accept constructive feedback, we cannot allow misleading claims to go unchallenged. Your review is not an accurate representation of events, nor does it reflect how we treat our clients.

Dear Rose - for transparency its fair to point out that this isn't your real name, already giving any future customers a good understanding of the legitimacy of this review.

Your review is inaccurate and misleading giving a poor overview of our hard working family business. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the clean and how this clean was funded we are unable to reply in as much detail I was would like.

On arrival you insisted that our team take their shoes off despite the hallway being littered with broken glass fragments.

The clean was for a set amount of hours during which time we were assigned to clean the rooms within your home. While our team was at your home you requested they do your washing up. This wasn't just the odd plate or bowl from breakfast but a huge stack of washing up that had accumulated over a number of months most of which wouldnt have fit in the dishwasher. They explained to you that if they had time they would sort it but their priority must be the deep clean of the actual rooms.

We will happily complete other tasks but only once our main objective has been achieved or else this whittles away at the time permitted.

The clean of the kitchen and hallway was started on 31/01/2023 but not fully completed with a plan for us to reattend at a time and date convenient for you.

On 06/02/2023 we received a phone call from you demanding we do your washing up on our next visit. You were again reminded that we would do this but only once the main clean had been complete. This prompted a barrage of abuse during which you screamed down the phone at our team and so they ended the call.

No complaints were received from you post clean and so the kitchen and hallway were a success to that point.

The finer points of just how we've worked closely with you, accommodating cancelations and other ways we've adapted our communication to suit arent appropriate for public discussion. However, it's fair to say we've gone above and beyond.

Luckily for us we have no less than 28 pictures of just the hallway and the kitchen. This evidencing those rooms both before and after. This sadly debunks your pictures and claims within this review.
