I used the Services of B & C Properties to let out a property in Kidbrooke . The Service imparted by both Jack the Managing Director & Tiffany the Coordinator was impeccable. Further, the Property was let very quickly with a choice given to us to pick the tenant we wanted without any pressure whatsoever. This was the very reassuring to be able to do this,. It shows that B&C Properties have a healthy tenant data base to be able to do this. Most importantly they have reasonable fees not out there to fleece Landlords like other Letting agents out there.

I am extremely disappointed with the standard of property management provided by this company.

During the tenancy, the tenants failed to pay any utility bills, which I was only made aware of after the tenancy had ended. In addition, significant damage was found at the property: the carpet was badly damaged and required replacement. Alarmingly, the overall condition of the property was far worse than what was reported in the check-out report.

The tenants’ deposit was insufficient to cover the cost of the repairs and the outstanding bills. As a leaseholder paying a management fee from the rental income, I expected these matters to be properly monitored and addressed. Instead, I have had to cover the shortfall from my own funds, which should not have been necessary.

This experience demonstrates a clear lack of oversight, inaccurate reporting, and poor communication. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise other leaseholders to think carefully before entrusting their property to this company.
