After contacting this company via e-mail about a Sony Home Cinema they told me it was in stock. As a secondary precaution I telephoned them and they confirmed that the item was in stock and promised delivery within three working days. It took over a week and while I was awaiting delivery they slashed the price online by £73. After I managed to contact them on the telephone they informed me that the new lower price was an error (couldn`t lie straight in bed ). Don`t bother e-mailing them because they`ve got no interest in you, you`ll get no reply.They also promised a free hdmi cable with the system but surprise surprise that never showed up either. Having to wait a few extra days for delivery is forgiveable but this company has a complete lack of respect for customers.

Fantastic Service and competetive
Great experience whith AV Addicts from initial purchase to delivery. Even called up after a week for feedback. It shows that some internet companies do care and not there just for your money. Keep the good service up lads. Richard Simpson

DO NOT USE - Absolutely Rubbish
I ordered and fridge freezer from these people, then read the poor reviews! Mistake! On the day of them delivering my item they damaged it on the lorry - apparently!
Waiting for my money to be refunded!!

Delivered damaged
Washing machine was delivered damaged, delivery driver claimed AV Addicts would replace it. Later turned out the delivery driver was a deceitful liar and AV Addicts refuse to replace or offer a refund for the damaged machine. Avoid this business at all costs.

On our terms & conditions which customers have to agree to prior to purchasing. It clearly mentions:
We insist that all customers inspect the product, quantity and any damages at the time of delivery before signing the Proof of delivery. No claims for damage will be accepted once you sign for the goods. All damages should be identified at the time of delivery. If however the goods are damages just simply refuse the delivery. Your statutory rights are not affected.

the goods where delivered. The product was unwrapped inspected then signed for. This customer called the following day stating the is a big dent on the washing machine. When he phoned the following day he asked for money off not a replacement. This clearly indicates that this customer is telling PORKIES. I told the customer that the terms and conditions on the site clearly mentions the above and that we cannot take responsibility for the damage. We sell a lot of washing machines and white goods. We can send you the sales list for all white goods customers and all will confirm that we unpack and inspect the goods upon delivery.
Later the same day the customer recalled and changed story stating that the washing machine has a big scratch and that the driver refused to take back the goods.
WE INSIST THAT THE CUSTOMER FORWARDS 6 PHOTOS OF THIS PRODUCT. ONE IMAGE MUST BE OF THE PRODUCT IN FULL.
Excellent Service and price
Order 46" LCD TV from AV Addicts on Tuesday and was delivered on Thursday. Impressive service will use again and recommed to others.

I do not rate this company even one star
Have never had such abysmal service no reply to email two failed delivery promises and a couldn't care less attitude ordered Sunday evening even though 24 hour service offered no contact until we chased up and was promised delivery Wed-Thursday and would phone day before for delivery time (didn't happen) we had to contact again engaged phone all day and no response to emails eventually managed to get a answer in early evening and promised del for Friday (didn't happen) have now cancelled order I'll let you know how long it takes to get my refund........
As Promised refund update. Eventually got refund 2 weeks after was suppose to have gone through only after sending letter and phoning.

Terrible service
Ordered an instock TV last month. Waited in on day of delivery, nothing. Emailed / phoned 4 times, eventually told, sorry it will be with you Friday. Stayed in again all day - no TV arrived again.
Phoned and told out of stock ! Why tell me a delivery date and make me stay in all day?
4 weeks later still no TV. Asked for refund. Guess what, promised it will be in my bank within 5 days.... didn't happen, promised it will be in my bank this Tuesday....... didn't happen. Absolutely useless customer service. They don't even answer my emails.

No TV and No Refund - Fraud?
AV Addicts took payment for a TV they did not have in stock. Having waited in for two days expecting delivery, they only told me it was out of stock when I rang them. They promised to refund the payment back in April - it is now the back end of June and still no refund. Extremely poor customer service - AV Addicts haven't contacted me once. AV Addicts have effectively stolen my money and I would strongly recommend customers stay clear.
