What could have been better?

Explaining at the start what is now involved in the selling process for a Leasehold and a share of Freehold would have been helpful - I did not realise how much information I would need to provide as one of the freeholders and many of the current questions had never even occurred to me or my co-freeholders. Areej’s guidance was essential in getting us through this.

Billing - I had to remind Ashworths that I hadn’t paid the up front fee.

The online apps let them down a bit - the ID verification didn’t work for my co-freeholders and later on all of us were wrongly alerted to complete documents. Given that so much of the information is transferred via the seller’s and buyer’s solicitors, I do wonder about the value of the standard on-line document set. This and my next point are probably aspects that the Law Society should address rather than Ashworths.

I felt that the connection between solicitor and estate agent could be improved as so much common information is called for.

I would happily use Ashworths again for a property transaction.

We were very pleased to work with Denise, Sharron, and James throughout our house purchase. As first-time buyers, we were quite nervous about choosing the right solicitor, especially after reading so many reviews about poor communication and slow responses.

Unfortunately after contacting Ashworhs through the web page message board, & following that up with a phone call. Where I was advised, yes no problems a staff member will reply to you later that day. I received no such contact. With regards my routine conveyancing.
