We as first time buyers have been enjoying the Ashberry Newmains experience with the sales office and the site supervisor.

We felt very much welcomed, and any sort of question that we had was answered clearly and concise. We were also shown a similar plot to ours as there wasn’t a show room available so that we could see the inside of it.

We have also been kept in touch with by the sales person :)

Very helpful making the process stress free upto now. Dawn has been especially helpful. Hopefully continues to be this stress free up untill l am inn and calling it home.

Nothing good to say about the sales staff on this site. I decided to visit Milton Keynes last minute, and after realising I liked the area, I noticed a few new developments and decided to call Countryside ahead.

During the call, I asked if there was any availability for an appointment. I was told they were "very busy," but that I could pop in. He asked what time I’d be arriving, I gave an estimate, and made my way there.

When I arrived, I saw TWO sales consultants on site – and NEITHER of them had clients. I walked in and said I was the lady who called earlier. He showed ZERO interest in sharing any information about the development. No brochures, no offer to help, nothing. I had to go and serve myself.

I asked to see the showroom and spent about 20–30 minutes there, trying to ask questions and learn more. The entire time, he stood there with an arrogant, uninterested posture – like I was somehow INTERRUPTING HIS DAY. And honestly, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT FELT LIKE, considering the place was completely empty.

Not once did he ask for my name, offer to take my contact details, or suggest following up. Instead, he said, "Everything can be found on the website."

To be honest, I felt a level of discrimination in the way I was treated.

This company seriously needs to train their staff better. I’m a homeowner, and never in my life have I been treated like this by a salesperson.

I’ve completely lost interest in your developments. Thank you.

YOU ARE REQUESTING INFORMATION FROM WHO? You sales person didn't EVEN got my email address or anything. Is this a standard message to make people believe you do anything with the reviews? NOP. I stand by what I wrote about my experience

Everything about the property was explained thoroughly to us. Communication was excellent, Staff really helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

As first time buyers, our experience was made to be enjoyable, supportive, and as stress free as possible. No question or request was too big for Claire, she has been incredibly patient with us. We have really appreciated the support from Claire, I would recommend her to anyone!

Michael has been so very kind and patient with me, explaining everything clearly and happy to answer any of my questions. He's a huge asset to the company.

I paid a retainer fee for first refusal on a plot due to be completed October 2024. I found a buyer for my own property but they walked away when I discovered (via a third party) the house wasn't due to be completed until Spring 2025. I have learnt in the past week the house is now due to be completed December 2025 and is featured on Rightmove at an increased 30k price. Nobody from Ashberry homes has contacted me.

Ashberry Homes response to my original review were clearly designed to hoodwink you all into believing they would conduct an investigation. Over a month has passed without any further communication.

From viewing to buying to moving in, I have had a great experience. Andy in the sales office is fantastic! He is helpful, friendly and goes the extra mile for his customers. He is a credit to the company!
Gavin, Greg and the boys on site are also really great. They respond quickly to issues and are always happy to help. My Dad was very unwell when I bought the house and recently died. Since I've moved in, so many people on site at Carrington View have helped me with little jobs that I would normally have asked my Dad for help with. For that I'll be forever grateful.
I've read a number of not so positive reviews of Ashberry Homes on here but I genuinely can't fault the service that I have received. The whole team have been amazing.

Progress reports on your Ashberry does not reflect what is happening on the ground. Got an update weeks ago to say roof trusses and tiles is complete, this is not the case. Don’t know why they bother with the fancy portal when it’s not the case.

Very good sales advisor, empathetic to our requirements and changes needed from the specification to meet my wife's needs.

Choosing fixtures and fittings was done reasonably quickly and with less stress than with previous developers we have bought new homes from over the last 20 years.

Everything was made so simple for us, as first time buyers. Karen at Cherry Meadow was so welcoming and really made us feel at ease. She sat with us on several occasions and explained the entire buying process and answered all of our questions clearly. It really helped us to know that we were making the right decision and we couldn't be happier with our new home.

After living in my Ashberry home for two and a half years years, the communication from customer care is non existent, quality of homes is nowhere near five star and residents are ignored by senior management.

The development has been left without street lighting in many parts despite promises it’s been connected and just needs turning on, paths dug up and left over and over again, builders rubble left lying in streets, and zero landscaping / maintenance to all areas other than the main entrance of the estate, which has been maintained consistently.

Ashberry are quick to blame most issues on their contractors, rather than addressing the fact that their own site managers do not have the time to check and monitor what is actually being done.

Now the site office has been repositioned into the farthest end of the estate (where homes have been occupied for 2.5 years) and turned into a dumping ground for builders excess supplies and rubbish.

Ashberry have no concept of completing one phase and moving onto another. They simply leave every part of the development unfinished.

The MANY Site managers that have ran this development over the past few years walk past rubble and health and safety issues such as holes in the pavements every day without addressing.

Contacting the sales centre was painful. It is so frustrating when your calls continually go to voicemail. The message is then we will reply in 2 days also give's an impression that the Ashberry does not consider it important. The excuse was the sales person was showing people around. A professional answer service that can provide a human to pass on a message would.
