My experience with you guys was smooth…
My experience with you guys was smooth and professional. What I didn’t like was FTCC webpage saying this loan would be for admissions as well as needs during the class schedule. They lead with false promise and on top of that told me a disbursement date of January 16, and it’s January 31st now and still no sign of a disbursement.
That can’t be Accent fundings fault as you guys have done everything you said you would do and the process was simple and easy to accomplish.
The bad part is FTCC acting as the middleman in the situation when you would assume an institution of higher learning would be upfront about the process.

It was the easiest site to navigate and the customer service answers quickly and helps out with every question and concern I had. They were professional, understanding and just truly GREAT! They also had the lowest interest rate out of any other lender I had looked at. Highly recommend!

Great interest rates, but company changes requirements
The interest rates are better than other companies that we researched, but we could not get funding for the next semester because Ascent changed their income requirements. Although nothing changed on our end to get approved, because things changed on their end, we were left with scrambling to find another company to get a student loan. Most other companies do not have as strict of requirements so it was still easy to get a loan with good credit but this is not a good experience for a student trying to get an education

Payment arrangement expected before classes are done
I haven't even finished my classes yet, and I am being asked to set up a payment arrangement. Also, when I first started the program, the paperwork said that I would be expected to start payments 12/26/2026. Now they say August, 2026. My hands are tied at this point. I would not recommend them.
