Still not had my refund for 3 dresses…

Still not had my refund for 3 dresses after a month, only received 2 dresses, the other dress has never been received. No one gets back to you by email, it is an automated email. If you comment on instagram your comments get deleted.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Stunning item which unfortunately didn’t suit so requested a refund. Was advised like many others the returns portal was down so spent more money in returning myself with order number intact. Despite NUMEROUS requests for my money back (£200) I’m constantly told “ Your returned item is still undergoing inspection by our warehouse team. We sincerely apologize for the delay. Due to a high volume of returns, we are currently experiencing longer processing times than usual”. It’s been over a month. In today’s society waiting THAT long for your money is outrageous.

Avoid at all costs

Do you like paying close to £200 for a dress that fails to arrive? Do you like spending weeks trying to contact the company to get help? Do you want to spend hours on the phone trying to get a charge back on your credit card? Thought not. Read the reviews and do not be tempted to buy from them. They send out dresses to social media influencers and few others seem to receive them. If they do, they fight for months to sort returns. The company has dissolved in the UK. Walk away!

The dress is really lovely and great quality, however the customer service was hard to get in touch with, took over a month for me to receive a refund and was a confusing process.

Awful scam of a company

Awful experience, do not buy from this company. It’s a scam. Took nearly 2 months for a refund which I don’t think I would’ve gotten if I hadn’t mentioned my solicitor was getting involved.

Atrocious

Atrocious. I’m sure this company is a scam. They’ve also according to companies house dissolved in the UK. I’ve been waiting almost 2 months for a dress that should have been 3-5 days. Either my emails are ignored or automated response. I have had an ongoing issue with them from November 2025 as they refused a refund. Finally thought I was getting somewhere and now they won’t ship the replacement dress. Have started a dispute with citizens advise and strongly advise people to shop elsewhere

Beautiful dress but customer service…

Beautiful dress but customer service not up to scratch in my experience! Was given the wrong order number in my confirmation email which meant my order could not be found when using the returns portal. Returns portal was then down to be told the only solution was to post myself and incur the charges for a tracked delivery. After finally being able to return, I am still awaiting a refund despite the return being delivered to ALB over a month ago. When contacting their customer service email, they regurgitate the same response without any helpful information. Disappointing as was going to reorder the dress in a different size but after this experience I will go elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible experience with this shop, I would tell anyone not to buy from there it is not worth the hassle! I ordered my item on 27th March and here I am writing this review 9 weeks later and I still have not received the item or the refund I asked for when the item was not dispatched after 3 weeks of waiting. I have been emailing with their “customer service” email who, whilst responding, are not actually moving anything forward they just keep saying it is with their refund department but a refund should not take nearly 6 weeks and counting! Completely ridiculous and a total breach of consumer rights. I am now having to go via my bank to report this. I have no idea if the clothes are any good but I know for sure I won’t be buying from them again

LOVE

I ordered the red backless dress and I’m obsessed with it. The fit is perfect, true to size, and the red colour is absolutely stunning. The quality is amazing, and I’m so happy with my purchase. It’s perfect for a wedding guest outfit or a fine dining event.

The customer service team was also incredibly helpful when I needed a different size — they responded quickly and made returning the original size so easy.

I would highly recommend ALB London and will definitely be shopping here again for more stunning dresses.

No refund!

Delivery and refund times are shockingly bad. Do not order.

It took over a month for my order to be delivered and when I contacted them about it it took a week to get resolved as they said it was being investigated. I had ordered 2 sizes so I returned one of them within a week of it being delivered. It’s been a month now since I returned the dress and my proof of postage shows that it was delivered and signed for but I still haven’t received my refund. When I contacted customer services they have just said they need to investigate it. Despite loving the dress, I will never order from them again.

Update: the reply from Anne Louise Boutique is fake. I’ve been dealing with their customer service team for weeks now and they give a lot of bullshit. Don’t think that them sending the message below means anything will change. Worst company ever!

I have been waiting over a week to get…

I have been waiting over a week to get a refund on a dress that I ordered that cannot be delivered on time!! I have emailed 10’times and still just a chat bot! Other customers that have commented on here - alb London have got in touch to say they are sorry and to email them - the email they give doesn’t actually get you anywhere it’s the same email address I have been emailing daily where they WILL NOT GIVE you a refund

Terrible terrible company

Terrible terrible company. Ordered over a month ago, paid for speedy delivery and still nothing has arrived.

Have chased countless times to customer service and get non committal responses about “escalating” my request.

Have now requested a refund and again no proper response.

I’d avoid at all costs!!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. The item took weeks to arrive and they weren’t able to give any updates, it appeared to be an ai response to all emails. I was told my order hadn’t been processed (weeks after ordering) but when I asked to cancel I wasn’t able to do so. The item was far too small when it arrived so had to be returned…again this was an impossibly slow turnaround. I had still not received my refund after 2 weeks of the item being returned and providing proof of delivery. The only update they were able to give me was that “the item is being checked for the warehouse”. I’m not sure what exactly they were checking for 2 weeks. I eventually did receive my refund but I will not be ordering from them again. It’s a shame as the dress was beautiful, very good quality apart from completely different sizing to standard.

DO NOT USE

This is a scam company do not use. Still waiting 3 months later for my refund. I am not the only one that has had the same problem. Customer service does not read previous communication and has no idea where orders are. Worst online retailer I have ever used. The whole situation has been very stressful and my credit card company has had to recover the money for me.

It’s been three months - DO NOT ORDER

It’s been three months so far. You kept saying you will deliver and redeliver. Still nothing.

DO NOT order if you need the dress within 6 months - seems like they sell dresses without having them in stock and expected multiple months, quite despicable way to conduct business.

Just FYI I waited for a good while to write this review and bought like 5 dresses before + recommended to many friends. What a shame.

I would give it minus stars if I could

I would give it minus stars if I could. I ordered a dress over 2 months ago, didn’t receive any updates on it being dispatched. After weeks of countless emails with no answers I opened a case with revolut and would you believe it was sent within a few days. I thought finally at least it’s coming my way. Another week and a bit goes by and there’s no sign of it arriving so I check the tracking info… they didn’t provide the courier with any contact information for me so it was stuck at customs and then returned to sender. I asked for it to be resent but they stopped replying to me, luckily revolut gave me my refund because I know for a fact I wouldn’t have gotten it otherwise, absolutely terrible company. They are replying to negative reviews on here with an email address to contact… the email doesn’t exist!!

Horrendous

Horrendous.
Returned items which tracking shows received 8 weeks ago.
Still no refund, auto generated response to all emails. Left a bad review they reply with an email address which starts with hello@ which is undeliverable. Shambles of a company. Do not order!
