I started watching Al Jazeera recently because I was becoming increasingly frustrated at how uncritically mainstream UK channels unquestioningly parroted the press releases from the UK, US and Israeli governments. There was no evidence-based investigation or analysis. There is a war taking place in which my country is complicit - ten of thousands of innocent civilians are being murdered by one of the most powerful military machines in the world but the Western media are siding with a state which has broken an encyclopaedia of international laws. Al Jazeera is the only channel to which I have easy access which takes a genuinely impartial and factual approach to covering the war in Gaza. Israel is killing their journalists and expelling them from the country and yet the BBC, Sky and ITN are allowed to continue to operate because they tow the line and suppress evidence and the truth. Time and again I see their reporting bending to appease Israel. It is frightening how these channels self-censor their reporting for fear of the backlash by powerful lobbies and politicians. I am extremely impressed by the integrity and fastidious way in which Al Jazeera goes about preparing its reports and programmes. Wars are complex but sometimes there are obvious aggressors and criminals whose crimes need to be exposed and declared as such. I am simply an ordinary UK citizen looking for objective journalism - unfortunately it is clear from some of the other reviews below that these reviewers simply don’t want to hear inconvenient truths but swallow the false propaganda of a dangerous rogue state.

This is not journalism but opinions and gut feelings. The reporters knowingly lie to sway the public towards their agenda. It's a shame that the distribution of the site is large when the quality of the content is so low.

I like to watch the propaganda news from both sided of the table. THE CNN TRUMP political drama to me is not news. I find AL Jazeera give a more rounded coverage of world news. Unfortunately it is highly biased in its coverage of Gaza I find. The pity network of propaganda for Hamas perhaps. I never see any coverage of Isreal actually inflicting Hamas casualties. No mention of Hamas perhaps being embedded in the civilian population. I'd like to see a story that searches for someone in Gaza that loves their children MORE then they hate Israel. I see children that are victims of a circle of violence and hate that is taught to them. Given the total ineffectiveness of Hamas as a military or terrorist entity now, perhaps surrender would be in order. If Hamas has mercy for the children of Gaza they could end this rath of hate they provoked by surrendering. It seems Hamas has used the suffering of these kids as their weapon of anti Israeli sentiment.

Have been watching Al Jazeera for about a decade. Great news channel to find out about the rest of the world; really difficult here in NA with their biased/miopic Western narratives or lack of news. AJ is also very good at focusing on people's stories, documentaries, investigative reporting, etc. I really enjoy "The Listening Post". It is still part of corporate media and their focus is the Arab world, so there is some bias. However, AJ has consistently exposed Israel's crimes on Palestinians and India's mistreatment of muslims, therefore, all the one-sided bad reviews from zionists and hindu trolls. I watch AJ daily, and my opinion is of a secular NorthAmerican.

Al Jazeera was my favourite news channel, offering a distinctive perspective from the poor in the world. Over the past 6 months, it has changed to a relentless and one-sided propaganda channel. It has lost much of its credibility as an international news channel. Very disappointing.

Honest, non biased news, told the truth from day one! Unlike CNN sky news, BBC and ITV, were biased and stereotyping.

Fake news 100% feeding propaganda and hatery

I am in Washington, DC in the US, and I’m afraid I’m in the minority, as an educated viewer who appreciates Al Jazeera’s factual coverage, particularly of the current Israeli assault on Gaza. Unlike mainstream media and western media outlets, Al Jazeera is not biased or slanted towards Israel, which I suspect is why I see all the negative reviews on here from people in the United States who are pro-Israel. The pro-Israel propaganda pushed by western and mainstream media, which comes directly from pro-Israel lobbyists and organizations whose mission it is to promote the Israeli agenda in the US, does a disservice to viewers here. I appreciate the factual, evidence-based coverage I find on Al Jazeera. It is a shame that Israel has had such a strong influence on what Americans know about the Middle East, which has resulted in confusion and ignorance about what is actually happening. Since I grew up in the Middle East myself, I have first-hand knowledge, and Al Jazeera is my go to source for truth.

Shame on you, Al Jazeera!! You promote Hamas and spread antisemitism day & night. You are complicit with the Hamas barbarians who slaughter families in their beds, rape girls and behead babies. What is wrong with you people? Absolutely disgraceful!! You are the devil himself !

This media outlet needs to be shut down completely. When there is a senior Hamas terrorist running this, they will only report PRO HAMAS content, and push anti-semetic narratives and propaganda that is doing nothing but harm to the world. Clearly, Islamist Extremism has to be banned, terrorism at any level is dangerous. We all must take a stand against this evil!!!

The worst onesided news outlet which always seem to glorify only one side. The worst of its kind. Just read their news and you will see the duplicity. It is a huge propaganda machine running on oil money. Waiting for day when oil dependency ends bringing end to these hypocrites.

Too many Zionists spreading fake news about Al-Jazeera on trustpilot. The IDF (Israeli defence force) are the one's committing atrocities. It appears that Israel are wanting more Lebensraum. It sounds like history is repeating itself. Hitler had the right idea; pity he didn't finish the job.
