DID NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! they are not a little store that is liquidating in Santa Barbara to open up in a new location. They are an operation out of China that sends absolute garbage merchandise. And then when you ask to return it because it says “hasslefree return policy“ they tell you that most people just take a credit or get like a 20% refund and then either way you can keep the stuff because to return it often times cost more than it does to buy it. It makes absolutely zero sense it’s a scam. The quality of merchandise is terrible.

Cheap products!!!!!! Will not get money back. Located in China not California!!!!!

Waiting for an order - and I keep getting e-mails that the item "will arrive shortly" - no date, for 2 weeks already. Track number is no help - "In Transit" is all it says. Reached out and although they did answer, only to tell me that they are working on it and it "will arrive shortly". That is unacceptable. I've requested a refund because I want to cancel the order - my event date has come and gone - and frankly, I am tired of waiting. No reply from my cancellation e-mail. We shall see! Buyer Beware!

DO NOT BUY from this company!!! They totally misrepresented their shoes saying they were "orthopedic" shoes. When I received them after a long wait, they were basically plastic and stiff as a board. There was nothing orthopedic about these shoes...very poor fit. I tried to return them but I had to send pictures, write an explanation about why I wanted to return them and after 3 months finally settled on an online credit. I would have had to send them back to China myself!!!

Scam all the way. The worst quality plastic shoes I've ever seen. And don't even try to return them! What a waste of money.

Unbelievably hard time to deal with this company. At least ten emails back and forth trying to cancel my order of orthotic dress sandals. I was told I had to wait until my package was delivered. Upon delivery, ( and seeing the synthetic knock off sandals) I requested directions on how to return for a full refund. Two unrealistic options were offered.
Bottom line to me…..

Because returns are sent to our international returns facility, shipping costs are often quite high and can sometimes exceed the original purchase price of the item.”
I’ m stuck with these unwearable products, I fear.

Firstly this is a review on a pair of shoes and their return policy, I can’t speak to their clothing. The website makes out that they’re an American company but if you have to return you pay overseas shipping to detract you from returning. I asked to return shoes and was told I’d pay for shipping and only get 20% back or they would send me a different pair and I’d pay $14 in shipping. So why only $14 for an exchange but a return is overseas rates.
Then they came back and offered 100% credit on their website and I can keep the shoes -but I don’t want the shoes is the whole point and why would I order again from them since they can’t be trusted and I was not impressed with the shoes to begin with??This policy is not well described on their website and I find the whole thing a scam. So buyer BEWARE!

I ordered what the picture showed 2 pair of linen barrel style capris. I got two straight legged pants made of crepe paper. No tags or labels in the pants. I threw them away they were so bad. Then they offer 30% refund. Never got it. It is a complete scam!!! Do not buy from them!!!!

I purchased 2 "leather "shoes at once from them, both in a size 7. First, neither are real leather, the first pair fit fine, but the second pair were a whole size larger, even though they said 7 on them. I know this because they were too big for me or my girlfriend who wears 7 1/2 and gave them to someonewho wore a size 8 and they fit her perfectly. Their website makes you believe it's made in the US but when I wanted to return them...it's not AND they would not cover the shipping cost to return, even though they sent me a defective shoe. I even took a picture beside the other size 7 and it was very clear it was an inch longer. Plus I would have to pay $14 plus international shipping. How or why would I do that when I'd have no idea what size to order for a product they don't even stand behind. Buyers beware!

Very Disappointed – Misleading Product and Poor Customer Experience
My experience with Alice & Benjamin Collection has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
First, I had a nightmare trying to get updates and resolution regarding the delivery of my order. Communication was frustrating, and it was difficult to get clear answers about the status of my shipment.
When the shoes finally arrived, I was shocked by the quality. The shoes were not at all what was advertised or described on the website. The materials appeared cheap, the craftsmanship was poor, and the overall product did not match the photos or expectations that were set by the company.
As a customer, I feel misled by the product description and disappointed by the lack of a satisfactory resolution. I expected much better quality and customer service for the price paid.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Buyers should be cautious and carefully consider their purchase before ordering.

I would definitely caution anyone considering from buying anything from Alice and Benjamin. I bought 2 pairs of shoes. The sizes I received were way too big. In order to get a refund they are requesting I send back to an address in China. The shipping cost would be $70,30. After they receive they will credit my account. They gave me another option to take 30% refund and keep the shoes that don’t fit. There is nothing in their advertising that shows return must go to China. Worst experience I have ever had. Their items look great online but they are definitely cheap in person. Save yourself the hassle and frustration of doing business with these folks.

I purchased a pair of shoes which took 15 days to receive. I was okay with that, but the shoes came wrapped in a plastic bag and the toe was so indented it would not reshape. Not to mention the shoes were not at all like the picture on the website. I emailed them to request a full refund and return instructions. They emailed me back offering a 50 percent coupon or 30 percent refund and I could keep the shoes either way. I was appalled at their response. Why would I settle for either of those options when they sent shoes that were not what was on the website and they are damaged. Please be aware you may not get what you ordered and then they will not offer you the full refund as stated on their website. I will never buy anything from them again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RETAILER!!!! They completely misrepresented themselves as a boutique located in Nantucket. Said they ship next day via UPS. Total lies. The items were drop shipped from China and took weeks to arrive. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes, 2 shipped out and were sent using GOFO not UPS as stated on website. This would have been a dead giveaway that they weren't coming from Nantucket. 1 pair the shipping label was created and had no movement for weeks. I contacted them and they let me know the item was out of stock and said they would refund my money and let me know what the next steps were. I have heard nothing. There should be no next steps, my refund should be issued as no product was ever received. The 2 pairs of shoes I did receive, were CHEAP, INEXPENSIVE rip-offs of the pictures displayed on the website. Save yourself some money and time and avoid this retailer. They also have another website using the same images called Evelyn & Parker so avoid that one too.

Shoes are not what they claim. I'm trying to return a pair, and have yet to receive a response. The claim to have a 30 day refund policy. I think they are just ignoring my requests for a refund to run out the 30 days. Stay away from this site.!
