I recently booked a flight with Air Blue, only to find out after payment that all the seats were already reserved! They took my money without informing me and issued a waiting list ticket instead. When I decided to cancel, they informed me that I'd have to wait 30 working days to receive a refund. This is completely unacceptable and feels misleading. I expected transparency and better customer service. If you’re considering flying with Air Blue, be cautious – they may not be upfront about seat availability, and their refund process is far from customer-friendly.

The most horrible airline

The most horrible airline. I'm an international traveler for 9 years. This is the first time i experienced that the airline didn't allowed the laptop bag. I had to throw lot of my expensive materials just to get my laptop as part of hand carry.

They haven't mentioned clearly anywhere in the tickets. I have traveler around 18 times in different airlines and never face this issue.

This was my last time with airblue and will never used it again even if i get a free ticket.

I recently traveled with…

I recently traveled with Airblue(Karachi to Dxb) PA110 1810 and had a frustrating experience regarding my seat assignment. I specifically requested a window seat, but the staff member assisting me, a lady with glasses, seemed to ignore my request and assigned me a seat on the opposite side.

I believe it’s crucial for airline staff to be attentive and considerate of passengers' requests, especially since we’re paying for our tickets. I urge Airblue to remind their crew about the importance of customer service and attentiveness when issuing boarding passes. Our comfort and satisfaction should be a priority.

Useless airline

Useless airline, worst ground staff, having no sense to deal, the way their staff member Mr Sohail said go to hell and waste your money the way you wasted this time. This is how their male and female staff are treating.
My father was in ICU, he said so what? Go we will not let you in.

really bad experience

really bad experience. The Ground Staff at Jeddah Airport treated Passengers like animals. In Flight Service was bad, low food quality, high Fare. I,ve been traveling since 2001 internationaly but one the worst Experience.

Pathetic behavior from the Airblue staff.

I swear to God I will never ever use Airblue again. I was going to lose all my money (visa + ticket) just because the Airblue boarding staff lady said, "We will not give you a boarding pass and you cannot go because your visa doesn't have your father's name. The UAE will deport you."
Isn't this the immigration department's work? You charged me the ticket fee and now you're telling me I cannot go.
I called the ICT UAE helpline and explained that the airplane boarding team is not accepting my visa and have an objection that my visa don't have my father's name. They said, "We gave you the visa based on your details. A father's name is not compulsory. We have no objection, that's why we issued you the visa and you have permission to visit here."
I requested the Airblue boarding staff lady to reconsider, but she shouted at me. "me kesy ijazat dy du ap ko yaha sy jany ki, mera naam khrab ho jy ga, me ne keh dia nhi ja skty to nhi ja skty, visa thek krwa kr lao"
What a terrible mindset some people have. I just said the visa issuer has no objection.

Very bad Customer experience agressive…

Very bad Customer experience agressive staff and non cooperative treat people like animals without solving queries. They should be better trained and keep people who are polite and know how to tackle clients.

Airline quality is below average which is still fine if they had better staff.

My name Muhammad Irfan , my last travel Dubai to Lahore on 13th April at 6:30 pm, on Dubai airport flight attendance name Mr. Qaiser behavior is very bad and rout , I ask him. I put a complaint against you , he ask me I don't care , on the counter he threading me to cancel the ticket , I have 2.5kg axtra wait i payed 55 / AED on line for 10KG I show him message but he take my luggage. I don.t know where is my luggage? i recmand to take action against Mr.Qaiser , and Mr.shahid .

Bad Company / Policy / Grumpy Employees

Bad company, employees and rules & regulations. Cancelation not possible unless you visit an office. So be prepared to drive at least 2 hours just to cancel your flight. Even if you just booked 5 minutes ago and theyre the one to put you on a waiting list instead of confirmed flight. Grumpy unhelpful employees. If you call, after listening to “current waiting time 1 minute” for 35 minutes you get some very grumpy unwilling person on the line. Not willing to help you even if your dad just passed away and you have major urgency to fly. They are unsuportive and not willing to share chances of getting on flight or making you first in waiting list nor willing to cancel your flight and give you a refund. While already you’re in distress, booked another flight they make you drive 2 hours just to cancel your flight. It’s just a way to scam people and make money “as long you’re waiting list status you can still cancel, but flight is within next 12 hours” What if we booked one hour later, the office would’ve been closed and our money gone.
And also which airline has the rule to show the same payment card which was used to pay for the flight upon check-in 🤷 unheard of. Also no online check in and seat selection. You won’t find a more budget treatment and airline policy all over the world. Not recommended!!
They tell you refund is after 30 days, than after 30 days they say 30 working days, after 30 working days its still not coming and they tell you to send an email, email gets not replied to… Followed them up 3 times, many calls. to get only reply that it is forwarded to department. Just for a booking that was never confirmed and canceled within the same 30 minutes, you can wait months and months and trace back behind your own money.
It was a horrible beginning of the holiday season. And took us 2,5 months, many calls / emails and being send here and there to get money refunded. 🥸💩👎🏼 NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Refund delayed

I bought mine along with my wife and sister’s tickets From Karachi Airport. Ms Afshan serviced us with professional manners and we found her to be a pleasant staff of Air Blue.

The story didn’t finish here. My wife and I had to be offloaded due to my wife’s medical condition and we provided Air Blue with relevant documents but as of 18th February (which is over a month now) our refund has not been completely processed. Ms Afshan has been informing that the head office is still looking into it. What a joke.

I was traveling with my Family Two Adults , 1 toddler and 2 infants, i booked month ago with 3 seats in a row and assigned infants to both adults their system just booked the seats with no cautions, when we reached airport their staff was un aware of the booking and took 15 mints to figure out that as per policy they cannot allow two infants in a single row, when i asked why your system allow me to book tickets and why you guys didn't call me before and told me about your policy ? their staff told me that you should never travel with airblue because they too fed-up with the airline management.

It is with burning frustration and sheer disappointment that I write this review, documenting my recent experience with your airline. For 13 years, I was a devoted customer, always choosing Airblue for my travels between Dubai and Lahore. But after my last interaction, that loyalty has been utterly shattered.

My recent booking under reference #EMVUBL involved a roundtrip flight from Dubai to Lahore and back. Everything seemed straightforward until I added a request for additional luggage to my booking. This is when I encountered your baffling, newly-revised policy that essentially forces passengers to pay for their seats again, even though they already paid for their tickets. How does this make sense? Why should a simple baggage request trigger a demand for payment for seats already purchased?

Seeking clarification, I contacted your customer service, only to be placed on a lengthy hold, treated to vague responses, and ultimately told I'd have to cough up an additional 1000 PKR if I even wanted to change my seats. The sheer audacity of this demand left me speechless.

This is not about the money. It's about the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and the utter lack of logic behind this policy. It's about losing trust in an airline I've flown with for over a decade, all for the sake of 1000 PKR.

Well, Airblue, consider this a goodbye. You've lost a loyal customer, and I'm certain I'm not alone. Your apathetic approach to customer service and this nonsensical policy will undoubtedly drive away those who once valued your airline. I urge you to reconsider this change, prioritize your passengers, and remember that good customer service is not a luxury, but a necessity for a thriving airline.
