My mother and I visited the Aesop Battersea store on 10 October 2025 and were made to feel unwelcome. When my mother asked about the pleasant scent in the store, a staff member abruptly replied, “It’s sold out,” before turning away, clearly uninterested in helping further. The dismissive tone and lack of basic courtesy were surprising and completely at odds with Aesop’s reputation for thoughtful service.

I contacted customer service afterward to share this feedback but never received a reply. The silence only reinforced the poor impression. For a brand that markets itself on care and respect, the experience was unprofessional and deeply disappointing.

Their delivery service is a nightmare. This is the second time my parcel has been marked as “delivered” even though I never received anything.

They use DPD, and it seems they lose packages regularly. Each time, I have to chase both Aesop and the courier, wasting time and energy for something I already paid for - including the paid delivery fee!

Until Aesop changes their courier service or at least gives customers the option to choose an alternative delivery provider, I strongly recommend not ordering online. It’s a terrible experience, and you risk losing both your order and your money.

This brand is incredibly underwhelming. I purchased a gift to the value of £103 for handwash and cream. Selected express shipping as the gift was time sensitive. Item didn't arrive in agreed date, rather I had to call to chase up. The customer service rep was very defensive and largely unhelpful. Item arrived the following day after expected eta. No samples included despite selecting samples and them being featured in my order invoice. It was my first time trusting Aesop. Unfortunately, they failed miserabley. I would not recommend this company.

Nothing like a delivery from Aesop. It's well wrapped, smells delicious, is pricy as hell for what it is, but patrons of the brand all buy into this illusion that we're getting an excellent product (it's average). Their profiling, design and - in my case - customer service is excellent. I've been a customer (I bet they call us 'clients', hehe) for at least a decade, and it's always a pleasure to shop both online - with hand written sweet notes about the order - and in-shop, where very sincere and intense workers always labor to sell fantastically fragrant items. I don't know about you, but I'm sold. Keep going back to Aesop over and over again.

La pire expérience d'achat de cette année! Commande qui n'est pas arrivée. Assistance client impuissante. Et le choix du transporteur DPD/Chronopost est la pire des choses. Chronopost est le roi de l'inefficacité. C'est lamentable pour AESOP. Commande n°29442619

The atmosphere of the store is simply amazing, creating a delightful shopping experience every time I visit.

Having explored various AESOP locations across London, and I can confidently say that the Canary Wharf team stands out as the most incredible. A special shout - out to Federica for her unwavering support and the wonderful energy she brings! Her passion and love for what she does truly shine through, making each visit a pleasure.

The Aesop staff in battersea needs training and customer service. Very disrespectful and with a bad attitude. One of the ladies put a cream in my face in a very rude way. Totally unacceptable.

Rude and sarcastic staff who despite asking for a specific product sell you an alternative without you knowing - they kept hold of the bottle until payment. Despite repeatedly asking for one specific product, all they were focussed on was upselling to a bigger bottle. When I returned after noticing 10 minutes later after leaving the shop, I was met with sarcasm, rudeness and a "cant be bothered" attitude.

Ordered a shampoo and conditioner full sizes week ago Live in UK ordered from Aesop UK website DPD acknowledged waiting for parcel Then message from DPD parcel had cleared customs?? where has it come from obviously not UK Parcel seems to be lost Not much help from customer services If not arrived by Friday night we’ll look into it again. Never had an issue with delivery before

I recently purchased 2 tubes of Redemption Body Scrub on line, which I purchased to give as a gift. This was noted on the order. Both tubes are mangled. The box they were delivered in is completely intact so I can only assume they were mangled during or prior to being packed. Can’t be given as gifts now.

Visited Aesop Rodeo Drive. Neil served us - couldn’t have been more knowledgeable or helpful. Definately recommend.

Virkelig god service på Kongens Nytorv! Jeg ved ikke, hvad de to piger hed, men den ene kunne huske mig og hun spurgte ind til mig - uden det virkede påtaget på nogen måde. Har handlet der flere gange og alle ekspediterne er simphelthen så nærværende, søde, autentiske og dygtige! Kyndig og god vejledning, meget personlig service og god tid!

Det er umuligt at rede håret ud efter balsam, håret er fyldt med små knuder. Deres shampoo er bedre, men desværre ikke pengene værd.

Very talented, well read and friendly staff really knowing what they are selling and what their brand stands for!
