We had booked a cab (Andrews)for a pick up at Southend airport yesterday, i was sent a booking number to confirm. After 20 mins and no cab, i contacted the cab firm who informed me thay do not pick up from the airport despite me having a booking number. We then phoned another cab from what i thought was adifferent firm (AC) only to be told they do not pick up from the airport, and if we were to walk to the travelodge and ring from there we would get picked up. This we done and waited another 20 mins. No cab. I am reliably informed these can firms are owned by the same person or person. What a complte shower of S**t. Cleary looking at your other reveiws your in the business of letting people down constantlly. So lesson learned if we use a cab in future ill contact one thats no in southend as you lot are garbage....

Very bad bad service this whole week been calling them w5mins wait then they.male up stories that 15mins I could have reached my destination walking it late again because I am thinking my taxi it coming through they getting worse with someone driver very rude as if customer is nothing I have had enough we really need another taxi firm in southend these guys are so big herded now i will he also calling the council services Re shit shit will he just using uber from now all my family have quit this firm they really not good anymore rubbish

Unreliable, unprofessional. We orderd a taxi. Were told that will be after 10-15 minutes. Called again after 16 minutes to be first told than there was no booking, When I have asked about name to make a complain was told that actually order was done but taxi driver sent a message that we were not there-rubbish explanation of incopetence of the company. Can not believe in such a high customer care.
We called 333444, was less than 4 minutes even told 5-10.

We booked a taxi yesterday to collect us this afternoon to take us home from the Cliffs Pavilion to Rayleigh at 5pm after a show. There were four of us including my mum who is in her 80s and can’t walk very far. We got a call from the company that the taxi had arrived. My brother went to look for it and when he found it, another lady was getting into the cab and a man was giving the taxi driver money in cash. So the driver (in a black Peugeot van) was obviously letting someone else into the cab which we had booked. He told my brother he would call us another cab. We waited and then I called the company and tried to explain what happened and ask for another cab to be sent but I was cut off as I was speaking. I tried again, got through and no-one spoke and I was cut off a second time. This is particularly shocking as my mum has problems with walking and had to stand on the pavement and wait on a hot day while we called a cab from a different (and reliable) company. I will never use this company again and have written this review to warn others about my experience.  

Service is an absolute disgrace since they moved their call centre. Do not use if you are relying on getting anywhere on time. The booking is late, and for the second time now has booked the pickup address for the wrong place.

Booked a cab using their app the day before for a 4.30am to take me to the airport. Had confirmation that booking was accepted. Following morning, cab fails to turn up. Tried calling but no one answering calls. 4.40am I’m phoning round trying to find other cab firms (no answers) and getting very stressed.
Their cab turns up nearly twenty five minutes late. Driver tells me he’s only just got up and that just because you’ve placed a booking there is no guarantee of it coming, as it just depends on what drivers they’ve got. Clearly a booking confirmation means nothing to them.

So, given the experience I had, I have to say they are sadly unreliable and unprofessional.

Avoid this taxi service at all costs. From the very first call, the customer service was shockingly poor — the person I spoke to acted as if I was inconveniencing them just by calling. That alone should have been a warning sign.

The entire operation feels complacent and unprofessional. If I were running this company, I’d seriously reconsider the attitude and accountability within the call centre.

I pre-booked a taxi for an important train journey, expecting reliability. Instead, they sent the driver to the wrong location. When I tried again, the second booking was simply cancelled — with no notification or explanation. As a result, I missed my train and had to buy another ticket.

An appalling experience from start to finish. Completely unreliable, poorly managed, and not worth the risk. Use another service.

Hi we book two taxi for Saturday 21 February to pick us up at 6pm going to Rayleigh, we were ready at 5:45 pm and then you text us at 5:50 pm to tell us you did not have any cars available which meant it was too late for us to order any other taxis from another company so I had to Drive which meant I could not have a drink. I just think it’s disgusting that you left it to the last minute to let us know.
My wife phone up and was told by the woman on the phone that it was not the her who cancel it but my wife was so annoyed that we were looking forward to my son engagement party and AC taxi ruin the start of the evening.

Southend on Sea - Saturday evening. No taxis at either rank in the city centre. Lots of people waiting - for over 30 minutes. A number of people phoned the call centre (taxi companies all the same owner), but to no avail. Sad reflection on the City - its people and visitors deserve better.

Charge me extra after going wrong way down closed road how my meant to know i dont drive never use again

Horrendous, rude, trying to charge for extras even though already paid.
Was arranged via insurance after spending 2 weeks in hospital abroad, arrived Southend airport, transferred by wheel chair off plane, was supposed to be waiting in arrivals but got a call saying walk to McDonalds which was100’s of metres away, we tried explaining we needed pickup outside arrivals as my wife was in a wheelchair, he then started demanding extra money to go there plus other numerous charges, shouting pay pay pay or not come in broken English, made my wife burst into tears-as she was still recovering, and wanted to just go home, she hung up then another phoned with similar demands & wouldn’t come close to pick us up.
Eventually a nice lady called asking what had happened & apologised but we didn’t feel safe travelling with them, we will report this to our insurance company and urge everyone to look elsewhere this taxi service employs anyone it seems. And has degraded significantly.

Unreliable
Booked an airport taxi 1week in advance, and phoned night before to check OK.
Next morning, when 10mins late I phoned and told not on way yet but will be in a few mins.
10 mins later phoned, told just about to leave for us.
10 mins later arrived. "Control" hadnt called this driver till after OUR prompt call.

Absolutely shocking. One cab driver is miserable and won’t take card. Even during Covid while card was basically a legal requirement. When we said no he started shouting at us saying why no and why is cash unacceptable. He is always rude which we have heard from other cab drivers as they all know which driver we are talking about. I don’t know how he is still a driver there

My partner booked 2 cabs for The Ambleside last night. Turned up in half the time we were told and both drivers turned away people trying to nick the cabs. Won't use any other company

Writing this review this morning because I am so angry with how stupid your drivers can be, I gave my exact location got a call saying he was on my road, no where to be seen so I walked around looking for the car! Bare in mind I had my baby with me and he ended up missing school because of how stupid your drivers are

Taxi was misleading and kept telling us it would be here in a minute. We got a phone call we say it was here and it took another 20 minutes to arrive from when we went outside

Horrible company. No care for the customers. Driver was rude. An all round bad experience

They have the best app 334455. This company saved my son, he started having a fit in the car the driver was fantastic got me to the hospital and got help thankyou.

The staff on the phone are rude. The drivers pick and choose whether to turn up. Some smoke in their cabs which makes them stink and is actually illegal.
