Placed an order, got a mail saying its going to a central warehouse for despatch, got an email saying it had arrived and ready for despatch, five days later I emailed and asked where my order was? They said on the way to the central warehouse and would take another 2 days!! Then despatch maybe another days depending on customs! I complained, no apology and no date when my order could be delivered

I placed an order over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been packaged or shipped. We've entered a new month and there's been zero progress on my order.
This level of service is completely unacceptable and appears to violate EU consumer protection laws regarding delivery timeframes. The lack of communication and failure to fulfill orders in a reasonable time suggests this may be a fraudulent operation.
Do not purchase from this company. Save yourself the frustration and potential financial loss. There are many legitimate retailers who actually deliver what they promise.

I habe being buying in their shop in Laredo and also on line and in Amazon and the service is excellent always - and they treta locals and no locals as well good !

Waiting for a few days after I paid before telling me an item wasn't even in stock although it's on the website, and then had to fight them for a refund, of which they didn't fully refund me and only gave partial amount I paid back! Disgusting

Schreckliches Schoppingerlebnis. Ich fasse es kurz: Bestellte Ware erst in anderer Farbe angeboten, dann micht auf Lager, dann nicht lieferbar, dann storniert. Kommunikation über Bot, der keinerlei Bezug auf meine Antworten verfassen konnten.
Hier zu kaufen ist vergeudet Lebenszeit.

I strongly warn against purchasing from 44Boardshop due to their complete disregard for consumer rights and appalling customer service. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating, and their handling of my issue was both legally and ethically unacceptable.

What happened?
I purchased a Jacket & Chakal Pants for €600. The products were defective from the start:

The jacket's snowbelt hook broke on day one
The pants had scuffs, pulls, and small cuts within days of use
The materials were far too fragile for skiing or snowboarding

Breaches of Consumer Rights
When I contacted 44Boardshop, they violated multiple EU consumer laws:

Failure to provide a timely refund (Article 18, Directive 2011/83/EU) – Once a return is accepted, retailers must refund customers within 14 days. Instead, I was strung along for six weeks, with constant excuses.
Avoiding their legal responsibility (Directive 2019/771 on the Sale of Goods) – They tried to push responsibility onto the manufacturer (North Face), even though EU law states that the seller, not the brand, is responsible for defective products.
Lack of transparency and delays – Despite repeated requests, they refused to provide a timeframe for my refund, violating consumer rights.
Unprofessional and sarcastic customer service – After all the delays, they had the audacity to end their last email with "thank you for your (not) patience." This kind of attitude towards paying customers is unacceptable.
Final Resolution?
After weeks of chasing them, I had to file a chargeback with my bank, a complaint with the European Consumer Centre (ECC), and initiate mediation through the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to force them to comply with the law. Even then, they falsely claimed I had already received a refund when I hadn’t!

Final Verdict: AVOID THIS STORE! 🚨
They ignore EU consumer laws
They delay refunds excessively
They push responsibility onto the manufacturer
Their customer service is unprofessional and rude
If you don’t want to risk losing your money or dealing with endless frustration, DO NOT buy from 44Boardshop. There are plenty of other trustworthy retailers who respect their customers and abide by the law!

Bought an expensive ski jacket at slightly discounted price just after Christmas. Was slightly worried after reading some reviews.
They emailed to say there might be a slight delay sure to busyness after holidays. Emailed me when order processed and dispatched. Arrived safely in Northern Ireland about 1 week after ordering. Great stuff!

He pedido unas chanclas Rider online y me llegaron muy pronto por GLS. No conocía la tienda pero la verdad que la primera impresión ha sido buena.

Bought an O'Neill wetsuit at a super discount and then no fault of 44boardshop the stitching came undone. Arranged with the shop for a repair, great communication with minimal effort to return the wetsuit for repair and just notified it's on its way way back. Can't commend them enough on a super customer experience with great communication.

habe ein paar Schuhe bestellt und bezahlt. Das war vor 5 Wochen. Angekommen ist nie etwas. ausser einer sinnlosen diskussion mit einem armen backoffice bearbeiter. angeblich sei das paket schon 3 mal geschickt worden aber immer wieder retour gekommen. Gottseidank habe ichs über Amazon bestellt! Finger weg von diesem Shop!!!

J ai commandé un article sur le site, qui me mettait livré en 3/5 jours cela fait maintenant 1 semaine que j ai reçu un mail me disant que ma commande était confirmée et depuis …… rien !!! J ai contacté le service client qui m’a répondu assez rapidement et j ai été remboursé.
Je mets que 3 étoiles car à cause de tout ça je suis obligé de partir pendant 3 mois sans mon matériel commandé. Il fait que ce genre de sites comprennent que quand ils font ça ils mettent des gens dans l embarra….

After reading here I was a bit afraid to order on that website. I still wanted my Etnies Marana x Santa Cruz (and they're not available anymore in my size on the official website). I paid less than the official website, it took 1 week for them to arrive. Everything was nice. I made an error on the address form, send them an email to correct it and it was done in an hour. Maybe I was lucky but I don't understand the negative reviews here.

Decided to follow the positive reviews and paid the price. Shortly after placing the order I received an email saying the item was out of stock and that I should request a refund. Waste of time. The positive is that the refund was done fairly quickly.

Les délais de livraison sont clairement obsolète voire frauduleuse.
Commande effectuée il y a deux semaines et toujours pas de retour. Le service client me promet que tout est en cours mais rien ne bouge.

Ordered a Patagonia Backpack that was in stock and in sales, on the same day they canceled the order as is not in stock anymore, two days after this, in stock again at normal price without sale.. They already start the refund but it seems like it was some kind of price move, it wasn't fair 44Board

Took a chance despite the dodgy reviews as it was the only place who had what I wanted in stock and the price was great.
Whole experience was very good - shipped the next day, clear messages and product arrived exactly as expected. Would use again.

Terrible customer service, I ordered a coat they didn’t have in stock, kept my money for weeks before giving it back, very confusing how they operate via Amazon pay, avoid and go somewhere else 👍
