We ordered WP plugin customization,
the cooperation went smoothly

We are an agency based in Stockholm, we have been using WP Kraken Services for the past few years to outsource most of the WordPress work as we have only one in-house WP Dev, the experience with the team has been great they are not scared of a challenge and get their hands dirty with someone else work. The rates are reasonable and they are responsive. I can recommend 100%!

I’ve had zero downtime since using the WP Kraken website maintenance service. Their team monitors my website like clockwork. Whenever I need edits, their team quickly responds and implements changes. It’s such relief to have a dependable partner!

Very frustrating company to work with. They didn't fulfill most of the project terms and spent months delaying. They tried to claim that items in the original project brief weren't included when they were plainly visible in the same Zendesk chat that they were using while denying the brief. They also may give you a range for payment but ignore the lower number since they automatically charge the most they can for their poor development work.

Gave them scope of work and asked to quote. I complete their form, but gave no indication of budget. Just explained we have poor exchange rate, so that will play factor in decision.
Didn't even bother. Just said it's outside your budget, without even knowing what my budget or expectations were. Don't waste your time with this company.

The project took a bit longer than anticipated and the language barrier made one of the deliverables not get done. That was my fault I should have gone into greater depth on exactly what was needed. This why 3 stars instead of 2.

Was told the work was done, when checked it needed alot of refinement. I went back and forth with the team alot on issues (time change was also a pain). For example when they made the changes live there were some issues conflicting with the theme. They told me to handle it !?!?!?! That is the devs job to implement correctly, not mine.

I think I paid a bit too much for what I got, but it does meet the minimum requirement for what I asked for. So the work is complete but I would not use again.

I needed full stack development done on a price comparison site. The work comprised of making front and changes to the WordPress theme and installing and setting up a few plug-ins. The estimated amount of time needed to complete the project was around a week but the turnaround ended up being three months.

Aside from the Long delays I had my project manager changed abruptly three times. The quality of work was incredibly poor and had to purchase additional hours to complete minor tasks that should've been completed in the first deliverable. The project manager recommended that I use an e-commerce theme instead of a price comparison theme, this was obviously a mistake. On each deliverable there was placeholders from the original theme that was not changed, there was no creativity from the project manager or the developer handling my project. There were numerous spelling errors in text I provided to the developer as well as poorly sized images, and lack of Basic functionality that was core to my website.

I have subsequently hired someone else to redesign and redevelop the entire site, I have spent a lot of money with WP Kraken and now need to pay someone else to fix the mess they created.

I would not recommend anyone hiring them for any sized project.

Pathetic service, poor work ethic, slow response time and no creativity. I've had better experiences with freelancers on Upwork than this Full stack Wordpress development firm.

They developed a custom plugin for us. Turnaround time was about 3 weeks and the plugin works seamlessly with our site. This will save us many hours of manual data processing work!

The work of wpkraken.io has exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased with their professionalism and reliability, and the end result of their work was very convincing. I will recommend wpkraken.io to others and will be happy to work with them again on future projects.

Crazy Pricing!!!

Two months ago they estimated:
"The job to take a minimum of 10 days which is no less than 80 hours of our developers' work. The hourly rate of a developer is $35 per hour"

Today the gave me an estimate for a job with is much less work:
"This project would take a minimum of 3 weeks which is no less than 120 hours of our developers' work to finish the project and make sure it works exactly as needed. If the developer is unable to finish the project within those 120 hours, we will get back to you and inform you how much more time is needed to complete the work. Considering the hourly rate of a developer is $60 per hour, the price for the development starts at $7,200."

Not only the amount of hours is crazy but also suddenly the hourly rate is almost doubled to $60???

They are too busy and ask for crazy amounts in the hope people will accept. Don't and look further!!!

WP Kraken is there only to server their selves and absolutely not the customer!

Crazy and totally brutal!!!

We engaged WP Kraken at the beginning of 2021 to work on four web-sites. Our goal was to standardize the look and feel and provide content consistency, across our settlement lending brands. This was necessary as we inherited sites through acquisitions, which became increasing hard to manage, as they were all on different platforms/hosts and had varying degrees of service support (some more capable than others). The model was inefficient and we needed to get to a place of standardization and consistency, to better support this important part of our brand extension and the selling process, which is largely through our online properties.

Having dealt with many web vendors in the past, WP Kraken were noticeably different as they assigned a FT project manager and leveraged slack and jira (apps we use ourselves), to organize the project and flow of information. They made themselves very available for meetings and quick check-ins.

Unlike other web vendors I have worked with, they are also very technically proficient (not just design), which helped when we migrated to a singular host, installed our new chat function and had gravity forms installed, to feed directly into our Salesforce instance. They also worked with our Salesforce developer directly and removed us as the middle person, to execute, more efficiently.

In short:
• They are organized
• They stay on plan and diplomatically encourage you to do the same
• They are accountable (even though we work in different times zones)
• They are engaged, fun and present as a collective team, to support you
• They want to produce the best possible outcome for your firm
• They are cost-effective, based the on many quotes we received and were actually more cost-effective in the end, as they stayed on plan and delivered

Would I work with them again? Yes, and we have already engaged them for monthly support for all of our sites. We are currently consolidating our other web support vendors, which has increased our efficiency, decreased costs and now we have the pleasure of working with a firm that we really enjoy working with, understands our needs and demonstrates in every interaction, that our business is important to them!

Extremely inflated price quote.
I was quoted 120 hours at USD 60 for a project that would take perhaps 30 hours, if that, or maybe 60 if I had to build everything from scratch.

Shop around, compare quotes, ask others on forums, but don't go straight to the first one that promises you whatever you want - IF YOU PAY UP FRONT.

Find somewhere with an escrow system.

I have hired many developers for projects. This is the 2nd time that I have used Kraken. I must say that the quality of their work and customer service is outstanding! Whenever I have a problem that my current developer could not fix, Kracken is able to solve the issue. Kraken is now my go-to problem fixers. A special shout-out to Dominika- she is great!

Built my own website and was getting help with the theme's problems from the Theme's developers. During that time it was mentioned that this group supported the Theme developers and were a partner.
I reached out to WP Kraken and asked for an audit on my website for the user experience and the sites usability. I was surprised at the reasonable price of the audit and how comprehensive it was.
I received a 43 page report of problems with my site that were stopping conversions and causing problems with the user experience.
I have had no problems with communicating and the time zone difference has worked well for me.
I am currently scheduled to use this group again for fixing some of my larger problems which I don't have time for. They are professional, they know what they are doing, and I had no problems with providing access to my web site, Google Analytics and Crazy Egg.

Great Service

As a WordPress freelancer, I had too many projects at a time and a particular one was even beyond my current skills. That's why I was looking for a reliable partner to help me handle projects for my end clients. I came across WPKraken and decided to give them a try. What I really like is that they have their own platform where we handled all the communication and exchange files. It was much more convenient than emails. A good price to value ratio. Highly recommended partner!

I needed to develop 2 blogs for my e-commerce stores. I've sent my inquiry to WPKraken, and Mike responded to me and the same day we had a call where we discussed what I need. I had to wait for a proposal for a while, but they've told me that they had a lot of projects at the moment. That's understandable. Overall I was very satisfied with what they've delivered!

Pauline was very helpful in keeping me updated on the progress of my job and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions.

No more answer no more explanation for my inquiry.
I felt that this company ignores the customer.

I am not their client. Before I would have become one they asked me for a 100 USD front payment. Just to stay and talk with me. Ridiculous. And now they asked to rate them. I did it.

Worst team ever! Extremely expensive! Extremely rude! Non flexible! Arrogant customer service! Late response!

Don’t make up untruthful excuses I’ve always replied immediately because i would have waited a week atleast for the reply of your team!
