After reviewing all the feedback from employees Im happy I dodged the bullet. No one wants to work for your trash company anyway 😂

Account managers are useless and add no value. All escalations and requests are ignored.

Very buggy integrations, API is not stable, frequently have data drop-off and errors.

The product team has no proper roadmap and user empathy or communication plan. They change features without any user updates, which breaks existing workflows without giving advanced notice.

The reporting feature is very very bad. When you click download, you might expect to get a file download but they actually send you an email 10 minutes later with another link to download the report! Ridiculous.

Thinking of switching to TeamTailor instead once this subscription is up. The TeamTailor AM said that they would provide full support to migrate all Workable data over to the new ATS.

AI could be better integrated.
The AI key words when writting an job add could work better and cpuld be automatically filled in with the criteria I choose not the ones the systems picks up.
Also there shoul be more ways to filter the candidates by year of study, faculty, location, experience in the domain we are interested in.

The tool is not user-friendly. It lacks many key functions, is slow, and makes collaboration difficult. I would never consider inviting hiring managers into the system.

I’ve only used it for three months, but I’ve worked with TeamTailor at other companies, which is far superior in comparison. Workable’s customer service has also been very poor.

Overall, the platform creates more problems than it solves. On top of that, it was not possible to switch from an annual subscription to a monthly one once you were locked into a yearly plan, something I find completely unreasonable.

I wouldn’t recommend this platform. Unfortunately, we’re stuck with them for one more entire year. Can’t wait to get rid of it!

They have optimised the way to recruit, enabling you to do it quickly and efficiently, while it is easy for you to maintain control.

PEOPLE BEWARE! This job will dangerously cause you hardship instead of helping you out. They say job is easy. All you do is deploy jobs online and only an hour of your time for 7 days. At the end of your 7days, the $500 that is allocated to you, can be withdrawn. Sounds good right? First day, they will teach you how to deploy jobs. If you get an “HP” job ( Hiring Process) which also say Immediate Hiring, you were to get 30% commission. But, the HP job is asking for certain amount. And it is not just a small amount. Your mentor will tell you that because you are in training, she will take care of the amount. At the end of training, you are able to withdraw the money you earned for that day.
Day 2, you are now on your own You get another HP job. The asking money is more than $500 that was allocated to you. This time your mentor tells you, “ oh wow! You got an HP job! That’s awesome! Those are rare to get. “ They will also lure you in by saying you get more commission for that. This time they will also tell you that in order for you to get the commission and finish the 18 deploy jobs, you will need to use your own money to finish the HP job and you will get more in return.
But what happens if you don’t have enough money? You can’t finish the job and you can’t get paid. They push you to find other ways to find money to finish the job. And I will tell you it is not just something less than $100 to fulfill the amount asking.
It has been 5 days now that I can’t get paid because my mentor told me in order for me to move forward and get the big pay out, and to get the money I already put in, I have to complete the HP job. The asking was $1735. I already have put in $500 of my money prior to it for another HP job. But because of what she had asked me to do, my money is stuck.
They do not tell you all this prior to working for them.
This complain doesn’t care about you or what happens to you. They don’t care about what repercussions it caused you. They just want you to finish the job. They don’t tell you that you will need to use your money to make it work. They scam you to do the job.
I WILL NEVER EVER offer this job to anyone! This is not a job! This is a scam! I don’t even want score it with a star.

Workable is always nice and easy to use, but there’s one feature we are really missing as a team: the ability to handle internal applications directly within the system.
Ideally, we could create a job, generate a link and share it internally so that employees can apply directly through Workable without having to publish it on the career page. At times, we receive up to 100 internal applications via email, which then have to be manually added to the system. It honestly feels a bit like the previous century!
This feature would be a huge improvement and make the internal recruitment process much smoother. Thank you for considering it!

It is a relatively straight forward system to use and is great for working with international teams.

We are very happy with Workable. It is easy to use, keeps our recruitment process organized, and gives candidates a smooth and professional experience. The collaboration features help our team work efficiently, and the tool fits perfectly with the needs of a growing startup. We can truly recommend it.

Great ATS, they added many features over time, very user friendly and easy to navigate.

I find that the tool lacks user-friendliness and colour compared to tools such as Teamtailor.
I regret that we do not have the option of using the tool in French.
Finally, it is a shame that we can comment on the candidate for the position in question but not on the candidate in general, so that we can retrieve this information when the profile is reworked for another application.
Finally, when we have to create a search, create the job and the hiring plan at the same time, it is a bit restrictive. Checkboxes to indicate what should be published or not would be easier.

great functionalities and customer service
it is a really value adding tool for both hiring and managing talent!

I've implemented workable over 1 year ago and it's been amazing for the business. We get our roles advertised on approx 20 different job boards in the UK and through their partnership with LinkedIn and Indeed we get our jobs there too without having to pay expensive licenses with them directly.
During the implementation they were very helpful and easy to reach out to, it has been a really great platform for us and we've renewed our contract with them without thinking twice.

Workable is a great ATS and has been quite customisable to a degree. I prefer a visual workflow and the ability to personalise this, and each stage. The reporting is good but could be improved.

My only reservation with Workable is that it is moving into more of a HR platform, having our own in-house platform for this we don't benefit from these features but that's specific to us.

The support team are really responsive, often it's a deeper issue that needs to go to the developers but we always get a friendly response.

We've had workable for about 4 years and I don't think there's an alternative we'd consider.
