Ruben’s Tuscany retreat was simply the best! Not only do I love his style of teaching, class structures and flow but I also love the creative activities he planned for us every day. Practicing yoga with Ruben builds me up to get to the next move with ease and confidence. In my day to day life i don’t have the time nor space to explore my creative side so this retreat was super special for me because it allowed me to find a side of myself i didnt know I had. Every single element of the retreat is delicately and elegantly curated. Ruben really truly cares about his guests and goes above and beyond in every way. I cannot recommend Ruben enough whether its retreats, classes, coaching. I loved being surronded by a gorgeous group of like minded women. We bonded over every shared experience, every meal, every hike. I truly unplugged from the real work this week. Simply magnificient!

Ruben is a phenomenal instructor and retreat planner! Every detail from the location selection for the retreat, to the well thought out schedule, to the welcome packet, to the yoga classes, to the additional activities, to the food, this retreat was top notch! It's been nearly 2 weeks now since the retreat concluded, and I'm still feeling the benefits from the retreat. I feel like Ruben created an environment where I really could "just be" and enjoy "slow-living" as the title of the retreat said.

When it comes to the class instruction, I really appreciated the way Ruben thought through and structured his classes. Each pose built on the next towards a peak pose and then a cool down. I feel like Ruben really understands the body mind connection and how to give the right instructions for the mind to visualize that support the body in each yoga pose. I enjoyed how Ruben also introduced us to mobility - and led a mobility workshop one evening as part of the retreat.

I only wish I lived in London so I could attend Ruben's classes more regularly, but for now, I'll look forward to his online classes and future retreats!

The Tuscany retreat July 2023 was an amazing experience. The combination of yoga, amazing food and wine together with lovely activities such as pasta making, wine tasting, and ceramics was so good. Ruben is a fantastic yoga teacher, who’ll give you the confidence and the good feeling about your yoga practice, no matter how experienced you are. His knowledge of the body, anatomy and the mind helps you to get that thing you just needed to help you that step further. Besides that, Ruben is such a gentle person, with a huge sense of humor, and thus lovely company!

I haven’t stopped telling all my friends about Ruben’s retreat. It is in a beautiful setting, with delicious and healthy food and interesting activities complimentary to wellness. He brings a special charm to his classes with his sensitivity and humour which makes you want to practise and improve. His experience in ballet gives him a unique understanding of the body, its ability and its limits. He spots the smallest difficulty and adjusts your position to make it better. His yoga is planned and considered so that not only are we improving in strength and flexibility but in our focus too, allowing us to release from external cares in our lives back home. Most of all his sense of fun creates an ambiance which turns a random group of people into friends.

Ruben is an amazing teacher. I had avoided yoga for years as have never felt comfortable with my breathing and hamstring mobility. While recovering from an injury, I thought I’d better get some movement in and attended one of Ruben’s Hatha classes. For the first time in a yoga class, I didn’t think about what I wasn’t able to do but was more exploring what I was capable of. I couldn’t at first quite pinpoint as to what exactly had made the shift in my thinking. However, I believe it is Ruben’s calm voice, kind energy and his music choice that all together really put you into ‘flow’. Sadly for me he has now gone on new adventures and I’m yet to find a yoga teacher whose teaching style will come close to Ruben’s. I’d wholeheartedly recommend anyone to attend one of his classes :)

Ruben is an amazing teacher who really takes care of his students: he is always ready to customise a class to suit competing levels of ability as well as injuries. He also really balances “power” yoga with more relaxing yin style yoga, sometimes all in the same class. That’s a rare find with teachers tending to go one way or the other. He also pushes his students to try things in a way which always feels “doable” even if it isn’t, but in a very safe and calm environment (and importantly in a fun way). Highly recommend to anyone whether a beginner or more advanced student. His retreats are always beautifully curated; amazing location and lots of beautiful details to soothe your mind’s eye.

Ruben created something so special…this retreat was the perfect way to disconnect, unwind, nourish and connect with a beautiful group of people. There were so many highlights… from incredible sunrise yoga on a wooden deck overlooking the Tuscan hills, to foraging and truffle hunting and being taught how to prepare our own pasta, to hiking to the local village for gelato with new-found friends. However, what absolutely made the retreat was Ruben’s beautiful energy…he took so much care to ensure everyone was fully looked after, and truly tailored the retreat to each of us. The whole experience was honestly just magical and I couldn’t recommend it more. Will 100% be back! Thank you Ruben! 🙏🏼

Amazing! Great yoga classes, wonderful food and idyllic surroundings. Rubén’s teaching, passion and attention to detail are second to none. I would highly recommend one of these retreats if you are considering. A truly awesome experience.

Rubens stretch and breathe session was the perfect end to our team day. He made everyone feel instantly at ease, regardless of their previous yoga experience. The team were able to relax and fully appreciate the practice. We would definitely have him back for future sessions!

We recently worked with Ruben and the team at Work Balance to create an interactive wellness breakfast event. Ruben was fantastic and helped us with coming up with the ideas and the final result on the day was a great success with all activities being fully booked. We received feedback from our partners who all commented on the wellness elements bringing a different touch to a normal breakfast event. Even people that would not normally get involved commented on how great the offering was. We look forward to booking similar events in the new year.
