A Good Experience
We ordered a sofa and chair at the beginning of the year Jake kept us informed of progress communication extremely good. Cannot fault Woods for good customer service.
Furniture was delivered on time with no damage.

Great local independent store
Great independent store to purchase from. More than happy with our sofa purchase. Very pleased with the overall experience. There was some slight damage to a wall on delivery, but Paul from Customer Services sorted it out by arranging a decorator to repair the damage. Great service and very understanding throughout by keeping me updated on when the repair would be sorted. I would definitely purchase from Woods again.

Issues with our wardrobe
We did have a problem with a scratch, ill fitting doors and a protruding nail on our solid oak wardrobe but when I called Woods they rectified without any disagreements or fuss. I took photos of the issues as they requested and sent them to Woods to review. They offered some money back but we wanted a perfect wardrobe so they rectified the problem without any fuss - great customer care, thank you.

Great service
Ordered a corner bench and dining table. The guy managed to deliver in the day of my choosing. They called me before hand to let me know they were coming. Great set of furniture no quality issues. I managed to assemble ot all myself but probably easier with two. Great service.

Highly recommend Woods
We bought 4 x Adele Pocket Sprung Dining Chairs in Tan on 4 June 2026. We are very happy with all our communications with Woods, especially the lovely Anya who called us to check everything is ok. It certainly is. We’d been given estimated delivery dates and our chairs arrived at the front end which was brilliant, only about 2 days after ordering. We are delighted with our chairs, they were easy to assemble, and are so comfy, good quality and stylish. And a good price. Thank you Woods, we’ll come back to you and highly recommend you to others.

We purchased a couple of bar stools for my kitchen. Really beautifully made and set off my breakfast bar perfectly. The website was easy to move around and he sales staff were courteous and polite. Would definitely buy from them again.

This is the third order I have placed…
This is the third order I have placed with Woods furniture. I previously ordered bar stools, then dining chairs online and was delighted with both.
This time I needed a large sideboard. I found the Jupiter sideboard online, but as it was a large item, I wanted to look at it in the store before ordering.
I visited the Brewery Square store first and really enjoyed browsing. The store has a welcoming atmosphere, it is well laid out and there are plenty of items to suit a variety of budgets. The Assistant I spoke to was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, without being pushy. They didn't have the sideboard I wanted on display, so they checked the High Street branch and they had one on display.
I went to the High Street Branch and the Assistant I spoke to there was equally helpful and knowledgeable.
I placed the order on a Thursday and it was delivered the following Wednesday.
The delivery team were really efficient, quickly taking the large, heavy sideboard to the room of my choice. They were friendly and made me feel at ease which was nice.
I am delighted with the sideboard because it is well made and good value. It required minimal assembly because I just had to bolt the legs on with the allen key that was supplied.

Ordered the Bali garden set - easy to order, delivery was prompt and well packaged. The garden set is absolutely stunning and great quality for the price. Easy clear instructions to assemble and was put together in no time at all! No blips! Very comfortable and spacious and will certainly be very enjoyed! Even got a follow up call to check we were happy with our purchase and a care guide emailed to download - great customer service! Nothing negative to say, very positive experience with a company who clearly cares about their products and customers. Would use them again in a blink! Beautiful table
The table we ordered is absolutely beautiful, even better than we were expecting. Great quality and looks fantastic. They were very quick to dispatch the table, the only reason for 4 out of 5 instead of 5 is because the delivery company weren't great. I can't fault the customer service of Woods though but potentially would be worth using a more reliable delivery company
