**Don't stay here in the summer!**
We stayed in a family room on the fifth floor in July, when temperatures in London reached 34°C. The entire building, and especially the upper floors, were unbearably hot around the clock, with indoor temperatures of around 30°C. The fans provided next to the beds did nothing except make a lot of noise, and the windows could only be opened by about 5 cm, so there was virtually no airflow.
We asked every day for an additional fan to make the room bearable to sleep in, but were told there were none available. If we hadn't made the mistake of paying in advance, we would have checked out and stayed somewhere else.
If you're visiting London during hot weather, choose somewhere else to stay.
The breakfast was poor value for money. Wombat advertises a "delicious breakfast", but you have to pay extra if you want juice or eggs.
