Across multiple games we've had multiple issues trying to get different mods and setups going (7d2d and minecraft)

The winternode team has been fast to respond to most queries, helped work through adding new services/options where they were needed, and have gone above what I would consider "required" customer service.

I'm very glad I found this place.

After a few months. I am very satisfied with Winternode with good control on the panel and how easy it is to handle a modded Minecraft server for my yt community and how affordable it is!

Of course you can do vanilla aswell if you wish to and you got a good panel to check your files and such!

Oh and the support and the management behind are really friendly and good helpers!

Extremely honest prices, they also seem to be often in Sale which is pretty cool. Been playing with a fairly sized group on 4 gigs and it surprisingly never caused me any issues. Totally recommended in my book

Recently added a VPS to my package of services. No trouble with selecting desired options from the many offerings. Deployment was fast and access via normal programs and apps to the VPS are easy to setup and function properly. Tech questions were promptly answered correctly and no issues since. Another great deal from WinterNode.

Have not only used winternode, but have partnered with them multiple times on events. Really great pricing. Supurb support team.

I bought a minecraft server service from them for 5 months until my own failure to attract players had me close my server.

I enjoyed how smooth customer service goes on their discord.

Also when I upgraded a few times trying to meet the RAM ceiling for my server's mods (which I personally underestimated and should of tested beforehand), they allowed me a nudge of extra RAM to make sure everything ran correctly.
I thought that was cool.

They seem to operate out of the Midwest so that's a bonus to not being a silicone valley doomed startup.

Everyone is active on their discord where they also do their tickets. As cheap as I am the pricing is as good as it's gonna get for this sort of service.

I will warn though, make sure to cancel properly when you are done with services, it seems paypal will still think you wanna pay them and will send payment still this is on paypal's end, you might have to stop it on paypal too.

I was in trouble and the support helped me out at the speed of light, by the way, I took the 12GB offer and it easily fits with 77 mods!

winter node has an amazing customer support team, the speed with which they help solve problems or crashes is the best I've ever seen, as well as the service they provide, thanks to them I can go to my minecraft server without fear of crashes

Reboot times are great, customer service sucks, memory management sucks. Let me explain. My server is mostly for family and close friends, as such they tend to explore...alot. Due to the horrible backend my server constantly gets out of memory errors and eventually crashes. I have NEVER had this happen with ANY other host I have used. Tried customer service and got the response that narrows down to - "well it's your fault for not "optimizing" your server"...really??? Are you friggin serious?? No attempt to research the problem, wouldn't even listen to my testing procedures or the fact I have never had this issue before. I feel I have paid a year for a service that is unsuitable for use at all.

PS...I can run my server on a pc with a weak CPU and 4 gigs of ram with ZERO issues whatsoever.

I was a fluctis customer. I guess they got bought by winternode. My minecraft server was shut down as expected from fluctis, several weeks later winternode alerted me that they had started a server in my name.
Support was incredibly unhelpful. Apparently there is no way to delete your winternode account. Brandon refuses to do so for me.
This process of removing myself from a service I did not want is far to complicated and stressful. I do not recommend winternode to anyone.

Edit: since I can’t seem to reply, my fluctis service was shut down weeks ago. I was never informed of when/if migration would happen. I only received an email AFTER winternode had created an account and server for me.
You’re right, you don’t deserve one star. You deserve less. I repeatedly asked for my account to be deleted and was ignored.

The first great thing about WinterNode is that they offer you a free trial server to check is the service is for you. The support on their discord is really quick to respond and they helped me a ton when I thought I've lost my server files. The prices are very much reasonable and I've had no problems with my server's performance.

I tested the 2 day trial thing via their website, and it took like 2 hours to get accepted afterwards it felt so smooth. I used nitrado before but now i will stick to winternode. Server just runs. It does what you want it to do no hassle. The only thing annoying is the login panel to get into the Server, as there is a client area and gcp area and its a bit confusing. I bought a month 6GB RAM and it just makes fun playing RLCraft. Thanks for the service!

The help from this provider is very LGBT friendly which as a recently outted trans girl makes me want to continue doing business in the future

This week I got fully migrated from Fluctis to Winternode. The Fluctis Hosting service and support was total garbage, but since Winternode aquired Fluctis and migrated the Fluctis customers their service and support is so great. Almost instant responses in their Discord server and no longer a 2.5 week wait on support tickets.
