One of their fitters past me in one of their vans . Shouting abuse. Not that I even know the numpty . And I was minding my own business. I believe he was a drunk. Vile creatine .I wouldn’t trust them near my house

1star is 1 too many .
I chose this company as I thought the reviews at the time seemed good ,they were not the cheapest but trusted the reviews on their own website .
From start in Sept 2021 to Dec 2024 this was a stress I could have well done without .
After paying 3/4 of the costs before they stepped through the door .
The workmanship, materials and customer service absolutely appalling .
We ended up having to pay out for an independent surveyor who verified that the workmanship and materials used were substandard but it took us having to use a solicitor and go to court in which they finally settled out of court in dec 2024 .

We had been thinking about getting new windows for a couple of years and finally took the plunge, We are so very pleased with Windmill windows everything has gone smoothly from start to finish. Fitters arrived on set date (sorry can’t remember their names) and were on time. They were very respectful of our home ensuring all areas were covered and left clean. The windows themself are of high quality A+ and we are now reaping the benefits with no condensation and a warmer home.
Thank you Windmill windows great company. Highly recommended

I had a very expensive kitchen fitted via this company. When products failed, they just put me in contact with the manufacturer to no avail. No quarantine on works and now down the line will not engage to rectify issues. Not not use!

Firstly, i believe the review submitted by Paul Hodges has the wrong company, no one by the name of James works there. i have been using Windmill Windows for many years for both conservatoires and windows, they are a great family business, who take great pride in their work, very competitive, great guys who do a top notch job, just had four more windows fitted, always left clean and tidy, a little touching up to do with a paint bush, which is expected. Thanks guys, see you again soon for the replacement of the 15ft patio doors, I'm sure you're look forward to that!

We've just had replacement windows, front door, and roofline done by Windmill Windows. From start to finish everything has been perfect. The fitting and finishing has exceeded our expectations, especially the roofline. Very tidy workers, who take pride in their work. No hesitation to recommend them.

I ordered a new conservatory roof plus new guttering
( not a cheap job by any means)

We’ve used Windmill Windows for various jobs including windows and doors at our golf driving range. I would highly recommend them. Their service from start to finish was first class. Good communication, fair pricing & quality workmanship. After two years we had a slight issue with one of the entrance doors due to heavy traffic and within 30 mins of phoning Windmill Windows they were there to fix it!

Dreadful customer service. We tried and tried to support this local business but James ignored us even when we said we wanted to place an order for a 4K aluminium front door. Don’t bother. This company needs a reality check, it hasn’t cornered the market and there are plenty of other responsive competitors out there. Avoid this company like the plague unless you want to spend your time sending emails and phoning their office and getting nowhere.

We ordered a composite door and it was fitted by a really nice man who we could not fault at all. Unfortunately 4 times they had to return as door was not fitting correctly. One time we were informed it should be like that, excuse me we could get a card through the gap! The accessories then started to rust, we were told to put baby oil on them to stop this. I’m sorry but a door which was matter of weeks old, with metal work going rusty should not be happening. Customer service is a disgrace. Told few weeks ago by a manager he was contacting manufacturers of the accessories and would get back to us. But still not heard anything. We would not recommend Windmill Windows and certainly would never use them again & wish we hadn’t in the first instance. We are very understanding people but when we’ve paid good money for a door we don’t expect to encounter problems or receive such a shocking service. Be advised to think twice before using

John the owner came and measured the window/door on our new build. The fitters installed in two days 14 windows, 2 patio doors and 3 external doors. The workmanship, tidiness and politeness of the three men were exemplary. The price was very competitive and the product excellent. Thank you all and I won't use any one else and highly recommend you.

I had two new bay windows plus box room installed over a month ago. The initial installation went pretty smoothly and was efficient (though the clean up was hit and miss). But the windows weren't as specified because each set of bay windows was missing two opening windows, with fixed glass there instead. The installers promised me that the company would send someone out the next week to install the missing windows: "it's a really quick and simple job", they said. So I waited. Then I emailed them. Then I emailed again. At first I got responses and reassurances that they had the windows and just needed to send someone out to me. Now I don't get responses any more. Not happy. They have also only been paid 35% of the cost -- I'm not paying the rest till they finish the job. Doesn't seem like a great business model or great customer service to me. I'm writing this review now in the hope that seeing a low rating might prompt them to actually respond to my email and arrange to send someone out...

I ordered 19 windows and two doors - all in aluminium - from Windmill Windows. Some issues were experienced during the installation but they were conscientiously resolved by John and his team of fitters. I would recommend this company.

I couldn't be more delighted with my beautifully finished windows and composite door.
Great care was taken during the ordering process to get exactly what I wanted, and even more with the fitting. There was no mess and the attention to detail went above and beyond.
This, coupled with being the most reasonable quote, makes me a very happy customer.
