Over the past 2 years the team at Williams Richards have restored and rebuilt all of the sash windows and a bay window in our Edwardian house.
We have nothing but praise for the quality, workmanship and professionalism of the whole team.
Nothing short of 100% satisfaction will suffice and we feel that we are a valued customer who will never look anywhere else for our windows and doors. Next up are bespoke replacement bay/ French doors for our kitchen which we are very excited about. Phil and Steph

I contacted WRSW in March 2021 as i needed assistance with changing the windows and doors in a listed building that was used for Offices. After meeting both Robin and Kieran i knew that we were in safe hands and they talked me through each step that i needed to follow with the council and also assisted with the planning application. After waiting for the planning application to go through i contacted Robin and we started looking at installation dates and the finer details. At this point we had gone from having one aspect done to two and Robin and Kieran got to work on producing the various parts and kept in touch with the timescales. Installation day came and Ryan and his team did not stop from the minute they got here and it had to be just right, they worked alongside myself for approx 5 weeks and perfection from this team was always at the top of the list. They were polite, hard working and professional at all times. Installation was completed on time and the return date booking in the diary to review any settling issues. I can't thank the team enough for making the building stand out from the crowd and also bringing its character back to life. Thank you from TBS.

We needed three sash windows replaced in our Georgian house and have been delighted with the work carried out by William Richards. From the first contact with Robin, followed by Kieran in the planning stage through to the fitters Ryan, Jack and Jordan the whole process was excellent. All staff were friendly, professional and capable and we will certainly use them again.

I have just had my huge Victorian sash windows refurbished and I could not be happier- the craftsmanship and finish is excellent in fact my decorator commented he had not come across so smooth and well repaired windows and they specialise in working on heritage buildings.
Ricardo and Paul were completely charming and very professional great ambassadors for an excellent company who have done a wonderful job - I highly recommend this company.

We have a Regency home in Cheltenham, when we bought it, it already had 5 aluminum framed, double glazed sash windows at the front, they were probably installed around 1986-ish, before the house was grade II listed.

I asked WRSW to install proper wooden framed, double glazed replacement windows. I originally wanted 1 glass pane over 1 glass pane (as per neighbouring houses on either side)
The listed building planning department advised that this wouldn't be permitted, and a 6 over 6 design would be the only sash approved.
They also believed that the wooden framed glazing bars (to support the 6 panes, would need to be substantial in width in order to hold the double glazed 'lights' (glass panels).
WRSW were extremely helpful in contacting the council directly and assuring them that the glazing bars were authentic in design, of the correct width and could still hold the double glazed lights.

When the work took place, they send a craftsman named Ryan, Ryan spent around 8 days on site, he was extremely easy to have around, respectful and happy to work quietly and importantly, taking care to minimize dust.
We can't recommend this firm highly enough, fantastic windows, great comms, lovely staff and beautiful windows at a very reasonable price.

What a wonderful company. From first contact with the lovely and informative Robin, then the amazing Kieran and then the wonderful Ricardo who has just fitted new windows in our bay window and 2 other rooms, we have been delighted. They are so professional, polite and have done such a good job we have booked them again to replace the sash windows in the rest of the property. Our three Victorian sash windows, and front door, at the front of our terraced house were in desperate need of replacement. The WRSW website persuaded us that this was the firm to contact. Robin, and then Kieran, made site visits and we were impressed by their friendly demeanours and their reassurance that the job could be completed successfully.

Steve who installed the windows and door was genuinely committed to the work and demonstrated great skill in overcoming the difficulties posed by a 150 year old building. We are so pleased with the results. No more draughts and the constant hum of traffic noise from the main road no longer audible. The new double glazed sash windows and the neatly fitting front door are a delight to look at and have made the house warmer and cosier.

We originally planned to replace or repair some old single glazed sash windows, but were very pleased, when Robin came to visit us, to find that our old casement windows could be fixed too. In the end we opted for replacement rather than repair and are very pleased that we did. We also decided to have our rather tired looking front door replaced with a new oak one. We are delighted with the appearance of all the windows and the door and amazed by how much warmer and draught free our house is. The service we received was fantastic, with Robin and Kieran both keeping us updated with progress and ensuring we were happy at all times when the fitting was taking place. The fitters did an excellent job and were very pleasant and efficient throughout. We would highly recommend this company.

WRSW have just completed work on 8 sash windows, fitting four with new double glazed units and repairing the existing sashes in the other four. The double glazing is very discrete, you can hardly see it is there but it has significantly cut the noise from the road at the front of the house. WRSW carefully replicated details from the old windows when making the new units, an important feature as the house is in a conservation area. The other windows required a fair amount of TLC to bring them back to safe working condition and the joiner Ryan deserves particular credit for bringing the large bay window back from the brink. All the windows are now draught-free, rattle-free and looking very good - I've already had compliments from neighbours.
I always felt confident that the work was in good hands: Ryan and the team of decorators worked hard and efficiently (and tidied up after themselves!), Robin and Kieran kept me informed about the progress of my job, visited several times while the work was being done and did a final inspection at the end of the work. I am delighted with the final results and would recommend WRSW without hesitation.

Following an issue with the sash windows installed by our builder into our new kitchen extension, we have replaced them with windows made by William Richards. We have been impressed throughout with the knowledge, care and attention to detail shown by Robin, and also the two fitters Mark and Russell. We are absolutely delighted with the quality of our new windows and would not hesitate to use this small family firm again. I might also add that whilst our windows should have been fitted during the lockdown, we were kept informed and up to date throughout, and were impressed with the speed in which they were able to complete our work once safe to do so.
