They have the worst engineers. They have never managed to fix any problems. They give incorrect feedback to the company to make more money out of you. Do not waste your money on Whoopsie

Just got an email saying my subscription has been cancelled, then another saying my DD is cancelled. Tried sending and email and it bounced back, Tried calling and after a few minutes it cuts off. Have they gone out of business?

Whoopsie cancelled my subscription for boiler cover I have been paying since June 2024 I have had no annual service and no other services from them no explanation on why it was cancelled so I also cancelled it with my bank they promptly sent me another email saying this months would be taken out no communication from them apart from cancelation of subscription no contract signed I have request a refund all websites are off line apparently for maintenance that’s £140 I have paid them meant to be for an annual service doubt all get a refund anyone else had this issue the cheek
Update whoops is no longer in service the company has been handed over to another insurance company which no customers were told about they called me I have no contract with this new company no terms and conditions so as the new company says contract is not cancelled well I did not sign an agreement with this new company a would rather get an engineer if and when needed and I am not getting my money back terrible customer service

Customer service very helpful though had to wait for the date to be arranged, a bit of a convoluted method

Had to put 1 star couldn't give 0 would not let me. Booked a service then saw a leak under boiler as I was moving a box out of the way ready for service. Got a text of of plumber on the same day to say they would have to rearrange. So phoned company up to tell them they wasn't coming but I'd seen a leak so I would need it sorting. Their reply was they would not be able to do the service now because it had a leak and my policy did no cover this. It had to completely breakdown. To cancel the contract I would have to pay £59 even though I have not used any of their services. Customer services rang me and said they will still do service but won't be fixing the leak. Personally I don't see the point and also they were only doing service so they could claim all the remaining monthly payments. AVOID AT ALL COSTS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. IF YOU BEEN AFFECTED AND ROBBED BY THEM GO TO ONBUDSMAN,DONT LET THEM ROB OTHERS .

The engineer was professional, friendly and gave clear details on what he had done and what may need fixing in the future

the gentilman who came to do my service was very polite and made sure boiler was working and radiators were checked and now work even better very happy with whoopise.

I took out boiler and central heating insurance a number of years ago for my father who has dementia and currently lives alone, just to be safe in case his heating/boiler/hot water breaks down.
My father’s boiler has now developed a leak from inside the boiler, running onto the worktop and electrics.
Obviously common sense says you switch everything off as water and electrics do not mix. I have called Whoopsie to report this and arrange a repair to be carried out, only to be told that the policy doesn’t cover a leaking boiler only a breakdown??
Well surely a leaking boiler is a breakdown???
No because it didn’t breakdown itself you are not covered???
But it was leaking and when I went through your website menus the first thing it advises is to turn it off, should I have left it leaking, cause an electrical fire burn the kitchen down, then report it??
My mind boggles £19.99 a month wasted!! They now want a further £30 cancellation fee, plus his monthly DD to shut the policy down!!
My Dads is 88, he can hardly afford to pay his bills and put food on the table, but Whoopsie don’t care, take your money miss sell you a policy (a leaking boiler isn’t broken???) and then charge you to cancel your policy, oh and do you want to take out another policy that would cover it leaking!!
Don’t touch these people, I have been miss sold, and then they have taken advantage and then tried to make fools of my father and I
My father is now in complete meltdown and panicking about this, whilst I now try and find a plumber - Living the dream, the life of a full time carer!

The engineer who visited was very knowledgeable polite and friendly

Each time I have contacted whoopsie for service or boiler problems,the customer service has been excellent.Mark has been the same engineer each time which as been great, both Mark and whoopsie have been very clear about the service and or any extra costs above the cover value of £500 callouts are the same day.

Been with Whoopsie for 2 years
They never initiated contact (EVERY other service provider we have used have contacted us to prompt boiler servicing) so we cancelled. I am now advised I will need to pay a cancellation fee!!! We’ve quite literally paid them to do nothing for 2 years. DO NOT TOUCH WHOOPSIE WITH A BARGE POLE

This company are polite knowledgeable about the service they provide The service they provide is second to none

From phone call to visit by the plumber everything was efficient. I was helped promptly. The plumber sent to me was highly experienced, trustworthy and capable. Thank you Whoopsie.

Repair was efficiently carried out

Fantastic customer service all round. They sent an engineer when I had issues with my hot water and was fixed without hassles. Engineer was lovely too. All round excellent. Thank you

Great customer service

I wasn't covered by the insurer under the policy for an external drain, but Whoopsie still sent someone out who managed to fix it. Lovely service team.
