Great selection at good prices
Great selection at good prices. They arrived quickly. They taste exactly like pork scratchings but are easier to chew. You get a large amount also. The grandchildren really enjoyed them, so ordered a box to be sent to their home address.
I would certainly recomend . I also purchased the cheese ones but not tasted them yet but I know they would make a great addition to the children's packed lunches

Better than stratchings, kinder for the teeth. Tasty, perfect size bag. The flavours are delicious, every single one of them. Being on the keto diet this is a perfect snack for me especially as I was a crisp eater. I don’t crave those at all which is fabulous. Thank you for helping my diet go well 👏🏽🙏🏽

Unfortunately I was really unhappy with my order. I ordered everything to try but my main order was for the ‘biltong’ which to me didn’t taste like biltong at all but more a rubber, plastic texture and a very bland, disappointing almost chemical taste, it was definitely jerky and NOT biltong to me. I was recommended these by someone else but even they told me from their recent order that they’ve changed the recipe to the biltong and that now it’s more a jerky and not nice at all. Pity as I wasted a decent amount of money.
The pork puffs- not to my taste
The crisps- way too bland
Cheesies- these are the only ones I found somewhat redeemable.
I’ve already contacted the company and they are good at replying fast, although the first email assured me there was no change in recipe and the second email from someone else admitted there had been a change- so overall confusing.
They offered 20% for my next order but realistically I doubt I’d ever order again, maybe the cheesies.
In reply to the one I got- there is nothing soft about this ‘biltong’ like I said it’s like rubber with a chemical taste and to ME it’s just like jerky. But yes you’re correct everyone has different taste. I wish I had tried what it tasted like before the change but unfortunately that’s not the case.

We recently updated our Biltong recipe in May to make it nitrate-free, after testing several versions and receiving a lot of positive feedback on the one we ultimately chose. We completely understand that taste and texture preferences vary, and while we aim to make our products as authentic and enjoyable as possible, not every recipe will be for everyone.
Just to clarify, Jerky and Biltong are quite different—jerky is typically marinated with added sugars and cooked at low temperatures, resulting in a drier texture. Our biltong, on the other hand, is marinated in vinegar and spices and then air-dried, giving it a softer bite. Because ours is made to be shelf-stable, it will naturally differ slightly from butcher-style or delicatessen biltong.
We’re proud to have received great feedback from many South African customers who say ours is the best packeted biltong available—and we’re pleased it’s now stocked nationwide in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and Asda.
We truly appreciate you reaching out to our team and sharing your honest thoughts—they help us continue to improve. We’re sorry again that this experience wasn’t what you’d hoped for, but we’re glad to hear our Cheesies were a hit and hope we might tempt you back in future.
No nitrates but great Biltong
I had been avoiding Biltong because of the nitrate problem so was glad to find this nitrate free product.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the Biltong some of the best you can buy in this country.
I ordered a box which came quickly which is helping with my protein levels.

Best protein with no carbs snacks I have had
If you are a carnivore and want protein without the carbs this is the best. It’s really hard to get things with no additives and wheat free but here’s a good assortment of snacks and flavours straight to your door by the box load and completely delicious. I can certainly recommend trying some. May seem a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and these are definitely worth it.
