I am writing this review with disappointment, but with the conviction that my experience can help other investors avoid the big mistake I made with Wealthi.

We trusted Wealthi to manage our investment. During the process of buying the house, the experience was very good; the team was attentive and diligent.

The real problem was that I invested without being fully aware of how bad their business model is for the investor. Wealthi's business is finding buyers for properties in areas where the demand does not cover the market supply. This is why developers pay them a fee to bring clients. Wealthi presents this as a big advantage for the investors because they don't pay for the service, but that is the core of the problem. This income structure does not align Wealthi’s interests with the investor's interests. Wealthi's income comes from the developers and creates a conflict of interest, because their fee is likely higher for properties that are harder to sell, i.e. potentially bad investments.

This model means a reality: many times the properties they offer don't grow in value as expected, or they even stay at the same price in the short and medium term. This is disappointing because the investment doesn't perform as expected, but also because of the high opportunity cost of missing better investment options. However, the worst consequence of this is that exiting the investment without losing money takes many years; since the property value grows slowly, you need many years to have enough growth just to cover the taxes and the selling costs.

Of course Wealthi knows this, but they don't share this information, which is important to make a good decision. Instead, they focus only on 30-year projections.

I feel there was a lack of honesty from their side for many reasons that I see now. There are definitely better investment options in the market. After my experience with Wealthi, I definitely do not recommend them.

Escribo esta reseña con desazón, pero con la convicción de que mi experiencia puede ser útil para que otros inversores eviten el grave error que cometí con Wealthi.

Confiamos en Wealthi para gestionar nuestra inversión. Durante la etapa de adquisición de la vivienda, la experiencia fue inmejorable; el equipo fue atento y diligente.

El verdadero problema radicó en haber invertido sin ser plenamente consciente de lo desfavorable que resulta su modelo de negocio para el inversor. Wealthi se enfoca en conseguir compradores para inmuebles ubicados en zonas donde la demanda no satisface la oferta del mercado. Es por ello que los developers les pagan un fee por atraer clientes. Esto que Wealthi presenta como una gran ventaja, al no haber un coste para el inversor, es el núcleo del problema. Esta estructura de ingresos no alinea los intereses de Wealthi con los del inversor. Si bien el inversor no paga por el servicio, la remuneración de la empresa proviene de terceros y genera un conflicto de intereses, pues el fee será mayor en inmuebles con menor atractivo de mercado.

Este modelo implica una realidad: es frecuente que las propiedades que ofrecen no logren la valorización esperada, o incluso presenten un estancamiento en el corto y mediano plazo. Este escenario es decepcionante no solo porque la inversión no rinde, sino por el elevado costo de oportunidad que representa al dejar de lado mejores alternativas. Además, la lenta valorización alarga el periodo necesario para desinvertir sin incurrir en pérdidas a varios años, ya que es necesario cubrir los altos costos de transacción, impuestos y venta.

Es evidente que Wealthi es consciente de todo esto, pero omiten esta información, esencial para tomar una decisión informada, centrando el discurso en las proyecciones a 30 años.

Siento que no hubo honestidad por su parte por varios motivos de los que ahora soy consciente. Existen mejores opciones de inversión en el mercado.

Después de haber invertido con Wealthi, sin duda no lo recomendaría.

I recently used Wealthi's services and want to share my experience.
The services included advice on purchasing a property and coordination with a network of additional services, such as mortgage brokers and solicitors.
From the beginning, Agustin's advice was clear and honest. He was always available to answer each of my questions, which was very reassuring.
Positive Aspects:
The project they showed me was excellent.
They have a comprehensive network of services (mortgage brokers, solicitors, property managers, etc.).
The professionals were very attentive, and the process was very smooth.

Communication in Spanish made the whole process much easier.

Decepción, esa es la primer palabra que se me viene a la mente. Vi muchos anuncios ofreciendo esperanza, diciendo que comprar vivienda no es imposible cuando eres un residente temporal. Decidí agendar una cita a traves de la página, tome uno de los espacios disponibles, recibí un link para conectarme y nunca apareció la persona. Tengo que aclarar que tome la cita para el mismo día que era en fin de semana a pocos días de terminar el año, por un lado comprendo que no hubieran aparecido, por el otro lado pienso, si iban a cerrar por las fiestas de fin de año, por que no bloquearon el calendario? Luego de un par de semanas que las fiestas pasaron me llegó un mensaje diciendo que tendria la cita ese mismo dia a las 11:30am hora de sydney. Yo estoy en Perth, eso supondría 8:30am para mi, no vi el mensaje hasta las 9:00am (repito, llegó el mismo día) y supuse que ya se había perdido la cita. Luego a las 11am hora Perth me llego un nuevo mensaje diciendo que ya estaban conectados esperando por mi... que???... decidí que despues de ese desorden de horarios les daría la oportunidad y me conecté. El asesor dice que lo siente que se equivocó en horarios, lo comprendo, al final somos humanos. Luego de todo, le digo mi situacion, bringing visa para la visa 491, 70K listos para empezar el proceso, 2 personas trabajando en el nucleo familar, no hijos. Respuesta inmediata, no lo vamos a intentar, llamanos de nuevo cuando tengas 120K ahorrados. Queeee??? Estoy seguro que en alguno de los videos vi que con unos 30K se podia empezar el proceso sin necesidad de ser residente, tengo mas del doble. Entonces, de que me hablas? No se supone que tienes conexion con decenas de bancos y que ibas a buscar uno dispuesto a prestarme? Que juntos íbamos a empezar el journey? Que paso wealthi? Me desepcionaste!
