I was originally attracted to Wealthbuilders when I came across them in an article on how to take more control of your Pension(s) through a SSAS. I'm reasonably knowledgeable about Financial Services but hadn't come across SSAS before, not surprising really as it sits outside of traditional financial services. Paul Brooks, SSAS Director at Wealthbuilders helped me with education, preparing myself to be SSAS ready, setting up the scheme, and a strategy for transferring existing pensions into the scheme. It's important to realise that involves hard work and responsibilities and Paul's knowledge, professional and ethical approach has been a great help.

Paul Brooks is an absolute superstar when it comes to SSAS and knowledge surrounding this area. He makes the complicated process feel a breeze in the way he puts it across.

My wife and I have our own property business and wanted to set up a SSAS to facilitate the growth of our limited company and hence started our Due Diligence on how to go about it. If you've read this far you know the world of pensions, and especially SSAS, is complex and (in my opinion for us anyway) not something we wanted to do on our own. We contacted a few companies who work in this field and provide training and assistance, as well as helping you find the right professional trustee and administrator. After careful consideration we chose WealthBuilders to assist us and have not looked back or regretted the decision at all. This is complex stuff, and the way Wealth Builders set it all out really makes it all clear to understand. Don't get me wrong there's work for you to do, you need to understand this stuff otherwise you could fall foul of the rules, but their training builds from the bottom providing you the foundations to move forward, confident in your own knowledge, complemented by the ongoing support from the team. We'd definitely recommend WealthBuilders should you be about to embark in setting up your own SSAS.

As a wealth coach on the WB programme not only do I coach members on a 1-1 basis, but I also see the beneficial impact they get from the other features of the programme - in particularly the vast learning content and community within. I joined WealthBuilders just over 6 months ago. At that time I knew I wanted to be financially independent but I felt rudderless. I happened upon Kevin Whelan talking on Clubhouse and had to check out what WealthBuilders was all about.

Just a quick post to say how grateful we are to have found this community. We were already retired early thanks to our pensions when we met Kevin Whelan. Since then we have embarked on this new wealth building adventure, joining the Academy in July.
