Prenotato una macchina a Fiumicino. All’atto del ritiro mi informano che la dovevo riconsegnare lavata o mi sarebbero stati addebitati 12€. Nonostante questa richiesta unica e scorretta rispetto ad altre società di noleggio decido per necessità di accettare ed ecco la seconda sorpresa mi consegnano una macchina ypsilon senza possibilità di utilizzare L’infotainment della macchina (radio, bluetooth, etc.). Alla mia rimostranza mi vogliono convincere che la macchina è utilizzabile anche senza questi dispositivi. Faccio presente che sono in dotazione all’atto della prenotazione e una signora chiaramente ignorante cerca di insistere che la macchina è perfetta. Alla fine la macchina non era utilizzabile e non hanno provveduto a fornire una macchina alternativa in linea con quanto avevo prenotato. Sono dovuto rientrare a casa con i mezzi.
La peggiore società di noleggio al mondo. Nemmeno nei paesi di terzo mondo una tale incompetenza e supponenza

I booked a car and third party driver hit my car. I called their support line (after 10 tries they finally answered the call) and they agreed with driver how it will be proceeded. I have collected all documents and sent instantly to rental company.

When I wanted to return the car, there was literally nobody in the office during their working hours. Guy was so late that I had a risk of missing my flight.

They charged me for damage by third party driver saying they will return it back once insurance covers this damage. THEY NEVER RETURNED BACK MY MONEY. Charged 1000+ euros and never returning it back is basically stealing.

Det største svindel firma. Vi ankom sent om aftenen. De krævede et ekstra gebyr på 245 euro fordi det var et visa debet kort og ikke et kreditkort. Det endte med at blive 3 gange så dyrt som vi fik bekræftelse på. Derudover var de arrogante og ikke hjælpsomme. Lad vær at leje bil der😡😡😡😡

Ho ritirato una Panda all'aereoporto di Catania, servizio veloce, auto con alcuni danni. Al momento della consegna ho fatto presente questi danni. Il responsabile mi ha assicurato che avrebbe controllato confermandomi che era al corrente dei problemi riscontrati. Non mi è stato addebitato nulla. Consiglio questa agenzia.

Pessimo.
Partiti per noleggiare una panda a Catania, siamo usciti dall'aeroporto dopo tre ore e tre auto cambiate (spia avaria motore e pneaumatici sgonfi). Nonostante avessimo sollecitato più volte l'invio del contratto, lo abbiamo ricevuto solo alla riconsegna della vettura. Il contratto ricevuto alla consegna, inoltre, presentava una copertura assicurativa diversa da quella che avevamo richiesto e soprattutto pagato.
Non ci è stato mai dato il codice per utilizzare l'autoradio e soprattutto per utilizzare il Bluetooth (anche in questo caso nonostante lo avessimo richiesto più volte).

Prezzo concorrenziale.
Personale al centralino veramente efficiente.
Auto consegnata con specchietto laterale frantumato e ho dovuto farlo notare. Poi dopo pochi km mi accorgo che un fanale non funzionava. Per fortuna era sera e l'ho subito notato e sono tornato indietro ( ma possibile che nessuno avesse verificato l'auto?).
Auto cambiata al volo con una di pari categoria perfettamente funzionante ( questa volta).
Deposito cauzionale riaccreditato sulla carta in sole 24 ore.

Noleggio un'auto con WAYCAR, tramite CARJET, pago l'acconto con carta di credito e ricevo la ricevuta della prenotazione. Il giorno successivo arrivo all'aeroporto e chiamo il centralino di WAYCAR, per avvisarli che sono arrivato e sto aspettando la navetta per raggiungere i loro uffici, ma al telefono mi dicono che loro non noleggiano a quel prezzo e che vogliono una somma pari al doppio della prenotazione, giustificandosi che è un errore di CARJET. In tanti anni di noleggi auto, WAYCAR è la peggiore società presente all'eroporto di Fiumicino

Easy to rent, great price, professional team.
I rented a car for 1 week, in Catania.
The process was smooth, fast and user pleasant.
I will, definitely, use the same company again.

We didn't receive the car type we booked. There was problem with the tire, we needed to inflate the tire every morning. When we called them they were not helpful, and after we returned the car we got no compensation. Even if we lost a lot of time trying to find a gas station every morning.
The car was dirty inside as well
I will not book with this company again

Por não ter cartão de crédito "obrigaram" a fazer o seguro com as coberturas máximas, ou seja, um Fiat Panda que ia custar menos de 200€ por uma semana ficou em quase 400€!
Paguei ainda um extra de 28€ por uma cadeira de criança que não estava funcional. Trocaram mas nem explicam como se monta. Pouco ou nada ajudam.
Podiam fazer o esforço de serem um pouco mais atenciosos.
No segundo dia que andamos com o carro tive de rectificar a pressão dos pneus. Tinham menos de 1,5 bar.
Lamentável na troca de veículos não haver um check up mínimo aos pontos mais críticos da segurança.
Não recomendo esta rent-a-car.

Avoid - scamming tourists

Way Car / Moo Car hustled us out of an extra 200 euro, and then stole the 150 euro they promised us back. With fake screenshots of some random admin screen, never their account.

1) We booked for "Full Cover" with Way Car at Catania Airport (who also operate as MooCar) DiscoverCars.com. Paying the deposit through the DiscoverCar.com website.

2) On arriving late at night to pick up our car they said we could not pay for the remaining amount on a debit card. The passenger offered to pay on his credit card, but they pointed to small print stating it had to be the driver's credit card. I've never had a credit card and hired cars around the world on a debit card. I have never been asked to pay with a credit card, least of all when we booked "Full Cover".

3) They then said I could use a Debit Card to buy "Full Cover" - which you'll see above we'd already paid for anyway, and we couldn't understand why "Full Cover" cost hundreds of euros more on debit card over credit card - they had no explanation. It would also be an extra 300 euro on top of what we'd already paid on debit card over credit card with no explanation, but 150 euro of that would be refunded to us on returning the car. None of this made any sense whatsoever and they didn't explain why it cost so much more on a Debit Card over a Credit Card.

4) They tried the same scam on another tourist while we were in there, and the desk was covered in the same hand written nonsense they tried on us. The other tourist left.

5) Unfortunately we had no other option but to pay because other rentals were shut and we had an hour long trip, arriving at Catania Airport late at night. We accepted it, knowing 150 euro would be refunded at the end.

6) Despite all of the claims about Debit vs Credit and it being the driver who has to pay, the passenger still paid on his debit card.

7) On returning the car at the end of the week the lady behind the desk claimed she had refunded the 150 euros there and then.
8) Two months later, we have not seen a penny of that 150 euro and have been in a lengthy email dispute between Way Car / Moo Car and DiscoverCars.com to at least get that money back. They've sent screenshots of their admin system, not their bank statement as they claim, showing some transaction on a card we never used with Way Car / Moo Car under my name (I never used any of my cards with them) telling us "the matter is closed" despite us showing evidence to DiscoverCars.com that the bank has stated categorically there was no transaction at all from Way Car / Moo Car.

Avoid Way Car / Moo Car and look at Trust Pilot and other reviews.

Ho noleggiato da way car all'aeroporto di Trapani, Fiat Panda hibryd seminuova,tenuta benissimo, noleggio di una settimana con formula protezione totale € 352,gentili allo sportello,auto in aeroporto, comodissimo. Oggi, dopo 8 giorni dalla riconsegna ho ricevuto lo storno su carta di credito di € 100 di caparra. Ottimo. Grazie Fabrizio Ceruti.

It was the worst experience in my life in their branch in Fiumicino. They don't accept my Albanian Driving license because thay said you're not in the EU. I have rented many many times in Fiumucino and another city in Italy and in Europe. Albanian driving license is valid in the EU country. After checking that the front desk said to me “We don't rent Albanian people. It was pure racism in my opinion. Thay broke the law and get also my money. I was there but they didn't want to rent the car and they also took my money. I have no words!

Your department in Terrasini is the worst experience I ever had by renting a car - and I rent a lot. SCAM practic, they collect you from airport and drive 15km away and start to add more fees not mentioned by booking. You are trapped in some little village far away and forced to pay hundreds of euro over the agreed price. Forced to pay for additional insurance, if something doesn't work on car, they take your deposit, if you need shuttle bus for exact flight, they will try to charge you another 50 euro.
Extremely rude personal and zero customer friendly. I even received such rude sms from them as - "YOU WILL PAY, NOW YOU KNOW, BYE"
I will highly warn anyone to keep far away from this scamers. I am also making report to Police for scam.
