Damaged gem should have been made clear
Beautifully presented with a personalised box however the Lapis Lasuli stone in the ring was quite badly damaged by a previous owner. This was NOT made clear in the description and the way the pictures were taken, did not show up in any of them. In fact, the pictures made the gem look to be in perfect condition. Which it is not.
As a result, I have been disappointed with this purchase. I feel it was over priced given my earlier comments.

Due to the antique and second-hand nature of pieces with 100+ years age some items have signs of wear and we try to restore our products to their best possible state before sale. We will always aim to given as accurate a description of the item as possible and we are always happy to accept returns for full refunds within 30 days.

Excellent buying experience with Wave Antiques. They have beautiful jewellery, took extra care resizing the ring I bought and it was sent very quickly. When the ring arrived I was so pleased that it is every bit as lovely as the photographs, possibly better. I am sure I will become a repeat customer.
