Interesting update.
Interesting update.
To ensure that no one else finds themselves on the receiving end, please see some further detail below. Put simply, this company appears to want to try to continue its apparent scamming by bleating about how it wants the Trustpilot review removed, by - wait for it - suddenly re-emerging and saying that the item is now BACK IN STOCK!
In the spirit of transparency, the email exchange is below.
"Dear Customer,
We sincerely apologize for the lack of response from our side.
We experienced a temporary stock shortage, combined with an unusually high volume of customer messages, which unfortunately caused delays in our communication. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.
Good news: the product is now back in stock.
👉 If you wish, we can proceed with immediate shipment of your Leather Watch Box.
👉 Alternatively, we can of course issue a full refund, depending on your preference.
Please let us know which option you would like so we can resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
Additionally, if this solution resolves the issue, we would greatly appreciate it if you could update or remove your Trustpilot review, as this would mean a lot to us.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding."
I responded as follows:
"Thank you for your message.
If you can indeed ensure that the item is shipped and I then receive it as described, I will amend the Trustpilot entry.
Please confirm when it has been shipped, noting that I previously received an email from you stating that it had been shipped and it was allocated a tracking number.
Given the above you will understand my concern as to whether the item will materialise."
I noticed that this came from an email address with an additional 'n' in the address. Raised this with them. Response...
"Dear ,
Thank you for your message and for taking the time to explain your concerns — they are completely understandable, and we appreciate your patience.
Regarding the email address: you are correct. The additional letter “n” in the sender address was due to a technical configuration issue with our contact email, which has now been corrected. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and confirm that this message is indeed from us.
Concerning your order, we would like to clarify the situation transparently. Due to the temporary stock shortage previously mentioned, an earlier notification was sent prematurely with a tracking reference before the item physically left our warehouse. We fully acknowledge that this should not have happened, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and loss of confidence it may have caused.
We can now confirm that the Leather Watch Box is available and ready for dispatch.
Once the item has been shipped, we will immediately send you the confirmed tracking number along with the carrier details, so you can follow the delivery step by step."
Rather than risk giving any further account details to them I asked that they now send to me as they had assured me that the item was now IN STOCK.
This was 23rd January. By 29th January, still nothing, so I wrote in the following terms:
"I am writing further to your previous emails when you assured me that the item was in stock and you stated:
👉 "If you wish, we can proceed with immediate shipment of your Leather Watch Box."
I confirmed that this was my preference. However, we are now a further 6 days on and there is still no indication that the item has been shipped.
Please advise me of the position by return email.
You will understand that the Trustpilot review will not be removed or amended until such time as the item has been received."
As of today's date we have nothing. Unsurprisingly, I have had no further response to my chasing email of 4th February.
So, it looks like the option is now to ramp matters up.
Can't believe I fell for this.
