This was my first time doing limb lengthening. I was a little nervous and didn’t really now what to expect going to another country. Throughout the entire process, everyone from the team member were great to me. They all made me feel comfortable which helps me relax and I actually started to enjoy the process afterwards. I’m glad I chose ‘Wanna Be Taller’ to do limb lengthening with. The team member are very supportive and helped guide me throughout the entire process easily. If I decide to do a second limb lengthening on my tibia, I will definitely choose ‘Wanna Be Taller’ again. If anyone wants to get taller, I highly recommend ‘Wanna Be Taller’.

It was my first time undergoing limb lengthening surgery, and I was really scared at the beginning. I didn't know what to expect, and I was worried about the pain and recovery. However, the experience turned out to be much better than I had imagined.

From my very first consultation until the end of my recovery, the entire team was professional, caring, and supportive. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way and they always available whenever I had questions or needed help.

I reached 9 cm of height gain using the LON method. The distraction phase lasted 3 months, and after the external fixator was removed, I continued my recovery for 1 more month to make sure everything healed as well as possible. The team closely monitored my progress and provided excellent guidance throughout the entire process.

A special thank you to Dr. Yunus for performing my surgery with exceptional skill and professionalism and also my physiotherapists Mr. Osman and Mr. Ali, whose patience, encouragement, and expertise were invaluable during my recovery. They motivated me every day and helped me regain my strength, flexibility, and confidence. Thanks to the physiotherapy program and their dedication, I am now able to walk normally and enjoy my everyday life again.

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Nurse Özlem and Omar for their kindness, professionalism, and constant support. They always took the time to answer my questions, made sure I was comfortable, and genuinely cared about my well-being. Their positive attitude and compassionate care made a huge difference throughout my journey.

One of the best parts of this experience was meeting other patients from different countries who were all going through the same journey. Everyone was friendly, supportive, and encouraging, and we became like a small family. It made the recovery process much more enjoyable because we could motivate each other and celebrate our progress together.

I also really appreciated that every month the staff organized outdoor activities for the patients. We would go to restaurants together, enjoy meals, and take relaxing walks by the beach. These activities helped us stay positive, connect with one another, and take our minds off the recovery process. It showed that the team genuinely cared not only about our physical recovery but also about our mental well-being.

I highly recommend this company to anyone considering limb lengthening. The process requires patience and commitment, but with such an experienced medical team, outstanding physiotherapists, caring nurses, and supportive staff, I felt looked after every step of the way. Reaching my goal of 9 cm has been life-changing, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

İstanbul’daki Wannabetaller merkezinde uzatma ameliyatı olmaya karar verdim ve bu, hayatımı olumlu yönde değiştiren en iyi kararlardan biri oldu. Ameliyat başarıyla geçti çok şükür. Şu anda uzatma sürecindeyim, 6 cm’ye ulaştım ve hedefim 10 cm.

Tıbbi ekip durumumu sürekli takip ediyor, ameliyat sonrası bakım çok iyi ve koordinatörlerle iletişim kolay ve hızlı. Merkez, konaklamadan fizik tedavi seanslarına kadar ihtiyacım olan her şeyi sağladı. Tüm ekibe teşekkür ederim.

I had been thinking about height lengthening for years, and after a lot of research, I finally decided to have the procedure done with Wannabetaller. All round good experience. I got my lengthening goal almost. I was aiming for 8.5cm initially but got 7cm.
A few points I would like to highlight is the language barrier, if travelling from a foreign country it may be difficult to communicate clearly as the team predominantly speak Turkish.
During my 3 months stay we didn’t go out for city tours, I think this should be done more often so patients can feel more relaxed and somewhat enjoy their experience.
Also upon returning to my country there was little to no communication or follow up checkups from the team to see how my recovery is going. It would be nice to hear from the team about how my recovery is going.
Other than that it was good overall, got 7cm taller so I can’t complain. It’s a good company and reliable team.

I want to start by saying that I am very grateful to this clinic for helping me change my life. Many shorter men know the daily struggles, judgments and psychological pressure that come with height and for me this decision was deeply personal.
I want to clearly state that this is an early stage review, and I will update it once I reach the final result and complete my recovery . At the moment, I am about 1.5 months after fixator removal and 4 months since first operation and waiting for upcoming X-rays, which will confirm how is bone healing and how much I can safely increase walking. Because of this, my final outcome is still ahead, and this review will be updated in the coming months depends if i recover fully or not.

I underwent femur lengthening in september 2025 and achieved approximately 9.4–9.5 cm of height increase. Although the generally recommended maximum is around 10 cm on the femur, I chose not to go beyond this. Not because I couldn’t actually i could becouse it was so easy for me, but because I believed that exceeding 10 cm could significantly extend recovery and walking time.

Regarding pain, I honestly expected a much worse experience much much much worse. The first surgery involved very intense pain immediately after waking up, which was extreme to be honest but seems normal for such a procedure.

However, painkillers that they give me provided strong relief, and about 15 hours later I was lying in bed without pain, already eating breakfast and happy that i done me operation. Walking was not possible yet, but assisted steps to the bathroom were after 2 days but it wasn't easy for me.

After returning home, I continued the lengthening process remotely at home. I stayed in regular contact with the clinic via WhatsApp, sending wound photos and asking questions. Responses were usually very fast, often within minutes, which gave me confidence and peace of mind that everything running okej.

What surprised me most is that despite lengthening 9.4 cm, I never experienced pain that prevented me from sleep or daily movement with a walker i was expected pain camming first at 3cm then 4 cm then after 6cm it willl become very hard and pain will cam as I prepared for the worst and bought painkillers, but in reality that pain never arrived and i could relax on me bed the whole process feel NOTHING so no pain just like i never had surgery and iam not joking.... i had tons of pain killers left at the end of procces that i never used...

The main challenge for me was discomfort, not pain. Learning how to move, use a walker, and manage daily tasks takes time and patience.

I was also worried about the second surgery (fixator removal LON Method) i was expecting severe pain again. This did NOT happen. I woke up with no pain at all i could not believe and was very happy about this this stage was far easier than iexpected.

I must highlight important think Dr. Yunus, who is clinic doctor and he performed my surgery. His professionalism, precision, and experience are crucial for such complex procedures. These surgeries require millimeter accuracy, and it is clear he knows exactly what he is doing. Thanks to his work, I can sit, stand, walk, and lie on my sides without pain he played a main role in this its him as main person then me body. I have great respect for his skills and strongly recommend him.

I also appreciate the rest of the team, as such a process requires coordination and support. Logistically, the clinic handled airport transfers, accommodation, and documentation well. Traveling alone and vulnerablity requires trust, and so far that trust has been justified they don't let me down.

At this stage, I am focusing on bone healing and walking progression. Once the final walking phase is completed and confirmed by X-rays, I will update this review with the final outcome. Iam thinking what to mention as downside and for me it was back sleeping.... as i love sleep or be on bed on me sides but it wasn't possible due to fixators installed on me legs but after time i get used to it so it.

here is me feedback updated 4 months later as i promised:
When my fixators were removed, I was scared because my left leg looked fine on the X-ray, but my right leg had very little visible callus. The clinic offered me stem therapy, but I decided to trust my body because I had no pain, no infection, and no complications throughout the entire process. I could see a tiny amount of callus, so I believed the bone just needed more time. The worst case, bone grafting whould be needed.
Thankfully, about two months later I was walking without crutches, and my latest X-rays from three days ago showed that both bones are healing very well and getting stronger.
I don't regret this journey at all I would do it a million times again.
There are risks but if everything goes well, the result is absolutely worth it.
