I hired a dress for my wedding day, for my mother. After receiving confirmation via email, I then received another email 48 hours later advising the dress wasn't available. Customer service is rubbish, they gave absolutely zero flicks about this and basically said not our fault. Use GlamCorner, much nicer & RELIABLE.

Au Jumping de Bordzsux, j'ai acheté le pull camionneur en vert olive, pour femme, et ce produit est d'une qualité rare ! Il taille également très bien, ce qui est rare avec mes rondeurs.
Je recommande à 100% et l'équipe est d'une immense gentillesse.

Très satisfaite, du tapis vert sapin mixte, la taille est malheureusement limite au niveau des quartiers ayant un grand cheval. Mais la qualité est superbe, super rendu. Marque française, faites main.

I rented a dress for a special occasion and upon opening the dress I noticed this dress is quite faded. Totally understandable for a dress that has been worn many many times, but this should not have been rented out for full rental price without disclosure of the fact that the dress, which is a very vibrant, lovely pattern, is very faded. The dress looks like instead of being handwashed or dry cleaned, it has been washed in the washing machine.....many, many times. I believe this dress should be retired from the rental market or rented as a discount due to the discrepancy in the colour.

I approached customer service to say that this dress does not fit the standards I was expecting a vibrant dress and was hoping to get either a partial refund or I'm happy to send it back unworn for a full refund. Customer service 0/5 stars if I could. Basically said 'not my problem' and that they couldn't do anything about it.

The staff member was unable to offer me: a partial refund, a full refund OR the details of anyone I could file a complaint with.

Terrible experience

i hired a dress for my formal on saturday. i had hired the black rat and boa dress months before so i could plan ahead. on thursday( day before i was getting the dress), she cancelled on me with a passive email.
do not recommend. NOT RELIABLE

I went to rent a dress for a cocktail evening, I rented a dress two weeks in advance... two days later I got a text from The Volte saying that the dress was unavailable to which they gave me a discount code to rent another dress.... I emailed to enquire about a refund and even chatted with their website chat bot and nothing... there was a lack of communication and horrific customer service!! With as many dress rental services as there out today, you'd like to think The Volte would at least prioritise customer service as they do taking your money.....

I am honestly so disappointed and do not recommend renting from them ever! trust me and listen to the reviews because I didn't.

I have an event to go to tomorrow and placed an order back in September which was confirmed. Just found out today the lender no longer has the dress and I'm now without an outfit and will be waiting 5-10 days for a refund. Only found out because I emailed The Volte and the lender asking for a tracking number. Terrible service.

Wish I’d have read these reviews. I ordered 2 weeks early and just found out my dress is not coming. No apology at all. Shocking customer service.
Left without a dress 2 days before my event.
Disappointed and will only use Glam Corner or Designer ex from now on.

Do not use this company. Its fine if things work but hopeless when they don't. Dress never arrived. Useless support. How can you run a marketplace with no systems and customer service? Its all you have going for you. Maybe use some of the $4m you raised from VCs to implement systems to track dresses, hold lenders accountable and actually provide customer service. There is no real time chat function just a bot who emails the off shore Zendesk. All I got after 24 hours was a response that lender hasn't replied and no response when I asked for refund.
