Amazing cake and experience
I met Karen at a wedding Fair and was amazed by her designs they were so unique and we wanted a showstopper cake. We gave her design ideas and went for a consultation and discussed our design. Her sketch was fantastic and just what we wanted.

On the wedding day the cake was the talk of the wedding! everyone asking about it and loving the design. It was a woodland theme and the cake looked like a tree which amazed our guests! Karen stayed a little while to talk to people and we let her know how amazed we were with the final product. We had 3 different flavours, and had a taster box prior to the wedding to pick flavours. She did an extra amazing thing- she gave us a framed picture of the final design of the cake- we are going to hang this up its such a beautiful memory and great idea!
Karen was amazing, friendly , helpful , and so creative- if we need another showstopper cake we know where to go!

Wow! What can I say! We went to Karen as she is so talented and a recommend supplier with Rogerthorpe Manor! We ordered some taster cakes and wow Her cakes taste out of this world and my god she is so creative! We wanted a wedding cake with a twist and Karen didn't disappoint. We had a golf course built into the back of our wedding cake. Once we had our consultation and pur cake was drew up and we was happy with the quote Karen worked her magic. I emailed her the week of the wedding and was reassured everything was on schedule and after the wedding seeing the cake in person was even better than I ever imagined. We had so many compliments on the taste, we chose a different flavour for each tier, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle and chocolate. Not one tier disappointed! It was out of this world. Karen Thank you for being a part of our special day your so talented, the cake looked amazing and tasted even better!!!

I firstly touched base with the Vintage cake fairy in December 2025, for our wedding in June of 2026. Our theme was 1920's Art Deco. My future wife and I had looked at various wedding cake businesses on google and a lot of them seemed to be the usual wedding cake designs.
Then, we found the Vintage Cake Fairy. During my first call with Karen, she straight away asked what style of wedding cake we were looking for.. 1920's Art Deco. Karen, sounded quite excited and she responded with, she only makes unusual and the none stereotypical styles of wedding cakes.
Karen invited us to have a meeting in her studio and she came up with a design which suited what we were wanting to achieve for our wedding.
I asked Karen if we could have a copy of the design sketch, which she drafted out. I mentioned it would be a good a memory to keep and get framed. Guess what Karen, bespokely produced a copy of our wedding cake design for us. Definitely something to remind us of our amazing wedding cake.
Karen also gave us a cake tasting box, so we can choose what flavours to go for. Her cakes taste delicious.
Once we had paid for the cake and made the final arrangements, she reassured us a few weeks before the wedding that their was nothing more for us to worry about and she had it all in hand, which took some of the pressure off for planning our wedding.
On the day it was incredibly warm, and she delivered the cake as late as possible to ensure it would last the day. We were very pleased with the quality of the cake, both in design and taste, and also with the service Karen provided and we would highly recommend her cakes.

I have used Karen for a few years, but this year I had a cake made for my daughter’s birthday and to say she was impressed was an understatement! We asked for a k pop demon hunters cake which Karen was unfamiliar with but she did all the research and produced a perfect cake with brilliant themes and the colours were just right! I had many comments from children and parents about how lovely the cake tasted as well! Thank you Karen!

It was a pleasure working with you Karen, I knew when I met you at the Sheffield EWE wedding fair that I wanted you to make a cake topper. When I got home and showed Matt what you could create, he made the great suggestion on having you make our cake as well (we initially weren't going to have a cake at all) and I'm so glad we changed our mind on that. The reason we weren't going to have a cake initially is because we have celiacs in the family and gluten free cakes aren't always the best, but when we found out you were celiac as well, then we knew the gluten free options would be delicious!
Your communication via email was always friendly and with quick responses. Our consultation in person was lovely, you were very clear with your design and what you could create within our budget, which was nice as there were no "hidden" fees. What was also great is you were happy for Matt and I to send you pictures separately of our wedding outfits for the cake topper, as we both kept them as a surprise until the wedding.
We absolutely loved the framed drawing of our initial wedding cake design! We both said how thoughtful it was and we already have it up on our mantlepiece in the front room! We were surprised to receive it alongside your hand written note. It was gorgeous to look back on that consultation picture and actually be able to compare it to the masterpiece you made. A beautiful keepsake.
We travelled an hour and a half each way, specifically for your cake designs and I'm so happy we did.

We found Vintage Cake Fairy at the wedding fair hosted at Carlton Towers Estate.
Her enthusiasm and skills were exactly what we were looking for.
During our consultation meeting, her professionalism and enjoyment of the job was infectious, which led to a very creative discussion of what was achievable and the level of detail she could achieve.
On the day of the wedding, she delivered the cake and it was definitely a show stealer. It was exactly what we hoped for and if we ever needed another cake like this, we know who we'd approach. We've recommended her to others multiple times and would highly recommend her services.

We are a couple living in the United States and we just had our destination wedding in the UK. We had Karen as our cake artist since she's recommended by our venue Carlton Towers and she can do butter cream cake finish. We are so glad we chose her! She's very communicative, always friendly and encouraging. Throughout the conversations, she asked about our preference and then sent over her sketch. We also asked her to do a little figure for our dog Walnut and she did an amazing job! As for the flavors, we couldn't go to the UK to taste it before our wedding so we absolutely trusted her. We took her recommendation and had Lemon drizzle (8"), Rich chocolate (6"), and Coffee (4"). I would say lemon drizzle was the best! Highly recommend!

My partner and I met Karen at one of our first Wedding Fayres even before we had confirmed with our venue. When we saw her reveal cake design we were instantly sold and booked her around 16 months before our wedding, alongside picking up some of her amazing wedding cake samples to try.

After a few emails back and forth throughout those 16 months, we were invited to a design consultation, where Karen took some of our ideas and began to sketch what our cake could look like - these sketches were an art in themselves!

Once we confirmed our design choices, Karen offered a couple of ideas that really enhanced our cake - including the addition of a friendship bracelet on our Taylor Swift tier! The other addition we had was of our gorgeous beagle, Basil, who Karen beautifully captured in icing form and was a highlight for our guests.

We opted for vanilla and strawberry for our largest tier, then chocolate, salted caramel and gluten free lemon.

Our guests were amazed by the reveal design and once we turned the cake around they immediately came up to take photos - we had fantastic comments all night for all the flavours of cake and our gluten free guests were thrilled at the lemon option and comments that it was one of the best cakes they'd had.

We cannot thank Karen enough for her help and the most amazing cake we could have asked for. Thank you so much for making our day special 🩷
