This was the first time I had attended such an event and I was very impressed with the organisation of the day, from arriving at the venue to seeing the valuer. I was offered much more than I had expected, accepted the offer and the money was transferred to my bank immediately.

Good price for loft contents
I clean my loft out last week then got a leaflet through the door for vintage & collectables, I thought why not take what I thought was a bit of toot round, turns out I got more money than expected! Service was quick in & out, transferred the money into my bank, I would thoroughly recommend them

Five star . I had a gold house, watch and chain. All priced seperatley and given a fair price. I had been to three others for valuation and VC gave me the top price.

Well organised and supportive. Hazel free transactions on items purchased and good advice rendered for items they didn't buy. Good price are paid for the item and seller are given informed decisions on either to sell their items or not.

Hi 👋 im happy with what I got for the rolex I would have liked a bit more but hey ho I got some money towards my motorhome repairs plus I got sone extra for my bracelet what j got a good price for . I'd really like to be invited another time when you are in scarborugh again as I have more jewellery thst I've sorted out so I look forward to you coming again. It was very dignified as well so all round it went as well as it could have gone . But I wished I'd have got a bit more for the watch . Pointless
It was my first time going to one of their roadshows.
Before going I contacted them to ask whether the item I had was accepted for valuation and I was told it was.
I waited for around one hour in a church hall that was criminally hot.
One lady that arrived after me was called, so I protested.
The valuer looked at my item and said that it was not something they were interested in.
Complete waste of two hours of my time.

We apologise you felt our service was pointless this is not what we aim for. If you were advised prior to attending that your item was suitable for assessment, this would have been because we do routinely deal in that category of item. However, all items remain subject to the professional discretion of the valuer upon physical inspection. The final decision to proceed is determined by a range of factors.
We understand and appreciate how disappointing and frustrating it must have been to travel to the event, wait to be seen, and then learn that the item was not suitable for purchase following inspection.

Feel totally misled and can’t…
Feel totally misled and can’t recommend. There was one young expert not the 2 or 3 as advertised. He spent most of the time looking things up on his phone. Not the experience of the well known TV expert used in the advertising. Although number 5 in the queue we realised we would have an awful long wait as people had lots of items. Those that had come after us that only had one or two items were asking for a quick valuation to avoid the hours wait they had ahead of them. This just added to our own waiting time and was very frustrating to see this queue jumping being allowed. We waited a while to see if the promised extra dealers would arrive. The person on the door was very vague but eventually admitted there was only one dealer. Why didn’t he tell people this as came in. At least they would have had the chance to leave straight away. Keeping elderly people waiting so long on a hot day is unforgivable. I would steer clear of this company at all costs. Completely wasted our time.

Regarding the number of experts present, while our events are sometimes attended by multiple valuers, there are occasions where unforeseen circumstances mean that staffing arrangements have to change at short notice. We recognise that this should have been communicated more clearly on the day, and we're sorry that you felt you weren't given enough information to make an informed decision about whether to wait.
We apologise that you felt the waiting time and the conditions on the day were unacceptable. We never want any visitor to feel uncomfortable or that their time has been wasted. We will take your comments on board as we improve the organisation and communication at our events.
Our specialists have extensive experience, and while they may occasionally use reference materials or online resources to verify details or current market information, this is often done to provide the most accurate valuation possible rather than relying solely on memory.

Not at all professional , avoid at all costs
Just come back from one of their roadshows. It was advertised as having two to three experts ready to value your items. When we arrived there was only one young guy who seemed to need to use a phone app to identify items. Looking at other TrustPilot reviews it appears normal for this lot to turn up for roadshows with only one valuer causing extreme delays for people who have taken time to sort out their valuables and attend. Not at all professional, avoid at all costs.
