Outstanding customer service - I lost one of the lens caps on my 8x42 binoculars so contacted Viking Optical. They replaced it free of charge. I contacted them on a friday 10 minutes before they closed and received the item the following wednesday through the post. A service definitely deserving a full 5 stars.

I needed spares for my Viking binoculars which I had bought years but couldn’t remember what model they were! A photo sorted it out and following an incredibly helpful, friendly and fast response the parts were with me and binoculars fixed.

Excellent service from the folks at Viking Optical, Halesworth. I'm very satisfied with the outcome after taking my battered old Kowa scope in for repair.

These binoculars were old and had to be returned to Northen Ireland.
Perfectly packaged and an excellent job done including replacement neck strap.

Really good/helpful staff on the phone and then subsequently by email. I had lost one optical lens cap off my 10yr+ old binoculars, and Viking were great in identifying precisely what size replacement was needed. Really quick service and item was well packaged and safely delivered. Would highly recommend

They gave really helpful advice on the phone about a possible repair. When they received the binoculars they rang and explained exactly what was covered by the warranty and gave a very reasonable price to repair them. They wavered the return postage and the binoculars are as good as new.

I met the boss at Titchwell RSPB, Norfolk and asked him about my scope, he said it needed some repairs. I took my scope to Viking in Halesworth, Norfolk. They gave me a quote for what was needed. I left it with them and later the same day I picked it up. It had been repaired and sorted out.
All staff I met were great and explained everything to me.

My very expensive Nikon binoculars were deemed too old and obsolete to service by Nikon themselves, but the repair department at Viking were able to completely refurbish and repair them. Just some of the things they did were to give an internall clean and realign, and put new body rubber on, provide new rubber eyecups and they even threw in a new strap and eyecup protector.
But not only was the actual repair amazing, the customer service was faultless too. They rang me at every stage, let me know what was going on, exactly how much it would cost (peanuts compared to the cost of replacing the binoculars with like quality), and when all was signed off, they got the product back to me the very next day.
Every person in the repair department that I spoke to was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and sympathetic.
I was absolutely thrilled to get my like-new binoculars back and could not recommend Viking more highly.

Visited the showroom in Halesworth where there is a large range of binolculars from various manufacturers. Although I went along with a preferred model in mind, I could try them against other makes/models and be sure that my choice was correct. (Other retailers have a far more limited choice on display in my experience.) Their stock levels seem good too so you can probably go away with what you came for rather than having to wait for it to be ordered. Prices good too.

Jack was very knowledgeable about the binoculars he had for sale. He was very helpful and took as much time with us as we needed. In all we had a very positive experience and we are pleased with the binoculars we purchased.

Looking for replacement twist up eyecups for Olympus binocular. OM were hopeless so I thought I would try Viking.
They could not have been more helpful. Back and forth with details and then confirming that they had a possible match. Edward was most helpful and I could not have asked for a better customer service. Reasonable price too.

He let me try lots of different options without any pressure, just told me the merits of each piece and left me to decide, without any rush, which I preferred. Very happy with my purchase.

Only reason not 5 stars is because DHL delivery just left package on the doorstep without it being signed for which was part of the deal!
