I've worked with Francesca Wright and the VIDA team twice, and the results have been outstanding both times.

As a busy professional who travels frequently, I simply wasn't dedicating the time and attention needed to build and optimize my dating profile. Francesca and her team stepped in and did an exceptional job. They took the time to understand who I am, crafted an authentic profile, and created a much stronger presentation than I would have put together on my own.

The increase in match quality and conversation volume was immediate and noticeable. Most importantly, the entire process was easy, professional, and efficient.

If you're successful in your career but short on time, I highly recommend Francesca and the VIDA team. Their expertise and attention to detail deliver real results.

They promise a whole innovative approach to it and that you'll get a lot more matches and dates because of their approach, but I didn't really notice *any* improvement compared to what I could do myself. The dates they got for me were very subpar.

Vida Select over promised, and significantly under delivered both on execution and results. You be the judge, here’s my accurate experience with their service.

During the initial and then onboarding phone calls used to create my profile, I was assured they would have no problem finding me appropriate matches within the 3 month service contract. They said matches would be attracted because I offered what many women wanted and lived near Boston. In brief: I’m a truly nice and kind man on all levels who is emotionally available, am financially secure, own a nice home in a nice town near Boston, (Belmont), reasonable looking (“he’s cute”), in good shape (5’9” 166lbs, bike 40 miles), Ivy grad and undergrad, and looking for a good mutual match.

The reason I hired Vida is because I was not able to find a good long term mutual match, and who was also physically available to significantly travel. I want to explore North American parks and other interesting places in my comfortable new Airstream Trade Wind 25FBT. A match would enjoy this adventurous travel including riding our E-bikes, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors together, in comfort.

Based on these assurances, I paid Vida in early November, immediately provided all information requested, but my profiles did not go live for over two months!

Vida’s selection of womens’ profiles to “like” frequently completely ignored both my and their preferences. Vida would occasionally make up false interests or activities which basically lied to women, (via my account so lying Using My Name)! Even Match.com at one point suspended my account due to suspicious behavior.

At Vida’s recommendation, I then searched for good mutual matches and sent Vida a screenshot of women to contact, but they would either delay many days or not contact them at all.

The result is I have only met one woman who lives over 1,000 miles away, and had one phone call with another who lives 2,000 miles away. So six (6) months after hiring Vida I have not met a single woman closer than 1,000 miles away. This result is NOT what was promised nor what is contractually required. Multiple emails to Vida have yielded no response.

Francesca from Vida was a wonderful match maker. She sort of holds your hand when you have questions about a potential match. And professional. She made time to talk with me once a week. Wonderful experience.

They got me a very good number of dates like they said they would. Is absolutely not a Scam. My match maker Shyne did amazing work. Recommend if you are struggling.

Service is ok. For the money they charge, for me, it was not worth it. Essentially all they do, is click like and chat with people on dating apps for you. Yes, there is some intelligence built in from the conversation they have with you. But they did not impress me much, certainly not for the price paid. Its decent service.

ViDA Select handles the tedious and frustrating aspects of dating apps. Most of the ghosting is filtered out by the time you interact with the women. They filter for what you're looking for so you get a selection of women you're actually interested in, and it's way more likely the women are going to be interested in you too. I really appreciate Nordika as my account manager and Rosalia is super for solving any issues.

Using ViDA Select consistently gets much better results than I'm able to do by myself.

Nordika has been an incredible, attentive, kind match-maker. The process with the dating app (hinge) has been a learning process since the whole process is a bit awkward (a third party swiping and chatting with parties in my behalf). I had many questions in the beginning of the app dating process, which Nordika patiently responded to. As a result, I'm letting go some control (which isn't always easy for me!) and trusting the process more.

There haven't been many hinge candidates that I am excited about, but the two Vida clients I have been sent seem like great matches that check many of the attributes of a partner that I'm looking for

I spent $3,100 on VIDA Select over two months and one "free" week. I got zero dates, zero phone numbers that led anywhere, and zero results.

Their website promised "99.6% of clients get dates" and "82% start relationships within 3 months." The sales call said my requirements were "totally achievable - we've done this for years." But on the matchmaker call, the narrative shifted: they guarantee hours of service, not matches. Still, "90-something percent get dates in the first month." I'd already paid $300 non-refundable, so I continued. Each month cost $1,300, plus $400 spent outside for suggested new clothes and photosession.

When results didn't materialize, they blamed shadow-bans on all 4 platforms. I contacted support - all said my accounts were fine. Then they blamed needing paid subscriptions - I paid $100 more. Then wrong city, so we expanded from Tampere to Helsinki. Then wrong country, so we expanded to Berlin. Then "cultural differences in Finnish market." Then "it takes 3-4 months" after promising first-month results.

Over two months I received 10 total approval requests. One was a Philippines scammer they counted as a "match." One violated my explicitly stated requirements, also counted as a "match." Three total conversations happened, all under 3 exchanges before ghosting or unmatching. Their Berlin "success" meant match rate increased from 2 to 7 per month, but conversation rate stayed at 1 per month with under 3 exchanges. The final free week produced nothing.

I had specified during onboarding that I wanted them to arrange dates, not just get phone numbers. With the one real match who met my requirements, they asked for her WhatsApp after only 2 messages and handed it off to me. She never responded. When I asked them to continue the conversation on Tinder, they refused, citing policy: once the client starts chatting, they never impersonate the client with that person again. They violated my chosen strategy, got no result, then used policy to avoid fixing their mistake.

Getting information required increasingly specific questions. When I asked about progress with two matches, the matchmaker said one was "super responsive" and the other "wasn't very responsive." When I asked for screenshots, "super responsive" meant 2 messages before ghosting, and "wasn't very responsive" meant zero messages - she admitted she'd mistakenly thought she saw a response that never existed. She told me "2 new Bumble likes" were coming for approval - they never came. When I followed up, she said they'd "since unmatched." This pattern of contradictions and false information continued throughout.

After I asked what would change if I renewed, their Customer Success Manager said: "We're not in the business of asking clients to 'pay more and hope it works.' The team doesn't have any fresh ideas on your account." They fired me as a client but offered zero refund.

The contract specified 40 hours of service per month - photo selection, profile writing, swiping, messaging. They delivered the hours, legally fulfilled their obligation. No outcome guarantees anywhere. Marketing promises 99.6% success rate, contract only promises hours of tasks.

Read the contract, not the marketing percentages. They promise dates in sales calls but only guarantee hours of service legally. When you get zero results, they've already fulfilled their contractual obligation and keep your money.

Edit: Down below is a perfect example of achievement inflation you'd get along the whole path. "modified our messaging approach based on cultural feedback" really means "we used canned entry lines in 2 conversations, received 5 responses total, and never had a chance to try anything else".

I couldn't be more dissatisfied with these people - I had documented better matches in Austin before even paying them. I have dozens of matches in NYC but couldn't figure out why Austin was different. They convinced me I'd get at least a date or 2 after one month, but right now Rosalia is emailing me to offer a 20% refund after they lied about my ethnicity and height. She even has the nerve to say most clients use the service for 3-4mo and get matches. Who tf would get a 2nd month after getting no matches in 1mo? They got me zero matches after 6 weeks starting in February and have still been trying after May to get matches, by talking to transwomen and "gain traction."

After 6 weeks I said maybe I just wasn't a good candidate in this city, and mentioned I'd accept a partial refund. All they do is make your profile extremely generic and comment on girls prompts by asking them the most obvious questions about their comments. It is a complete template, run by algorithms. I will post more details on a website when I get a chance, you can just do what they do on your own. I have app and email screenshots to show. Save your money, do not use this bullshit service. Anyone giving good reviews prob just didn't have time to swipe - it's ok for that. Garbage if you think they have an edge on intel.

Overall, I really appreciated this experience! I wasn't exactly sure what to expect going in, but my matchmaker Nathaly was incredibly helpful, open, and informative whenever it involved my profile or my preferences to the point where I felt like I could be completely honest and open with her!

I suppose the things I disliked about the service were the expense and reliance on dating apps. The service was well over $1000 a month for me for something that ultimately utilized Hinge, Bumble, and Tinder. I completely understand how it may seem like a scam at the outset. However, VIDA does all the communicating on the apps so you don't need to interact with them at all, and they do this multiple times per day, whereas I wouldn't have been feeling that amount of interaction after a long day of work. This amounts to ~ a date a week depending on your preferences.

For me the thing that was amazing was not having to interact with the apps, especially once I accept that this is THE way to meet potential partners (unfortunately). My mental health was spared by not worrying when to text back, whether somebody ghosted me, or whether they had any interest in me. By the time VIDA had contacted me (after an initial message of whether I was attracted to the person), they had already set up a date, times and location which I agreed to or had gotten their phone number. This allowed me to put all my energy towards the dates themselves, which ended up being great times even if we didn't think we were compatible after meeting. All of this hasn't mentioned that VIDA also can also setup your profile and images based on what you give them.

They're not miracle workers, but what they provide they excel at, and the constant contact with the matchmaker rounded out the experience. Definitely recommended if your struggling with the apps or speed dating isn't quite working out.

My matchmaker was very attentive to every question I had. It was worth the investment especially because I get paid more per hour than I was paying them. During the first month of service I was able to have one date so far and more may be on the way.

I’ve had an overall positive experience with this matchmaking service. While there have been a few mistakes along the way, the support I’ve received has made a real difference. My matchmaker, Johanna Wise, has been outstanding—professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. She consistently provides thoughtful, helpful advice and is always quick to respond to calls, emails, and texts. Her guidance has been invaluable, and she’s made the experience worthwhile.

Super helpful service, and very responsive staff.

Vida Select is an overly expensive way to use the apps. It essentially just adds a middle man to your use of bumble or hinge. My matchmaker was super friendly and professional, but would say things like “Hi! What do you think of [This Person] Strong Alignment:
Travel and spontaneous lifestyle
Active, outdoors, skiing
Confident energy and communication style
Social intelligence and banter compatibility
Director level, owns/operates a business”

She just quoted me what was on their profile page. I felt ripped off paying almost $2k a month to for someone to read me a profile.

This happened with almost every match. Unless your Vida representative has access to something other than Bumble or Hinge, it’s not worth the money for something you can do yourself.

I asked for help from Vida because I’m in an incredibly unique position in life and needed help with vetting. There was no vetting, just profile regurgitation, and also, unfortunately none of the men were attractive. I asked several friends if i was being too picky and multiple times different friends asked if my matchmaker had eyes.

Finally, i did go on four dates, all of the men were incredibly smitten with me and i felt terrible having to let them down because the matchmakers didn’t vet them well enough and they had jobs that couldn’t move, or wanted a more traditional woman (cooked, cleaned, stay at home mom which in another life would have been great but that is not a life I can accommodate right now).

I’m rating it a 3, because I know it’s helped some people, but I have a hunch those people have not used the apps themselves, or they’d realize there was nothing profound about the service.

In my consultation with Calvin last year, he asked me what I wanted to be different about my dating life. I said "I want to meet people who aren't just tech bros who talk about crypto and startups all night." He laughed and said "I got you." Every single person my matchmaker's introduced me to has been outside tech - met a chef then someone who works in nonprofits then a lawyer. Having conversations that aren't work-related has been amazing. Sometimes you need someone with a bigger network than your own industry or circle. That's been the real value - access to people I'd never meet otherwise.

Relocated to NYC in October and didn't know anyone so I downloaded all the apps - Hinge, Bumble, The League - and it was just frustrating. Everyone wanted casual or lived in Jersey. Friend suggested VIDA. They understood I'm new to the city and only sends people who actually live in Manhattan. 5 matches over 5 months: first guy I went on 4 dates with but realized we wanted different things, second was fine but no chemistry, third cancelled then ghosted, fourth I'm still seeing - we're on date six and I actually like him. It's been a good way to meet people. Not cheap but beats swiping by a mile
