Great service

Just collected a 9 mts old evoque so early days but delighted the process so far was very easy and even though it was not a new car (nearly) got a new car hand over experience better than when we got a new Audi a few years ago .A special thanks to Steve who was most helpfull at Redruth and also Paul.We got loads of extra things we did not execpt and even when we said we had to collect some milk on the way home Paul raided the tea room great memory very funny a good tale to tell hope the service continues sure it will.

Outstanding purchase experience

We had in mind the model and specification of the car we wanted to buy - a recent Range Rover Sport e460 PHEV in Firenze red, ideally with an electrically deployable towbar. The Land Rover approved website showed the ideal car at Vertu in Truro loaded with all the extras we could wish for.
Our enquiry was passed to the senior sales advisor at Truro, Darren Beattie, with whom we struck up an immediate rapport, personable and friendly with a clear aim to satisfy our expectations. He was knowledgeable about the product, provided a walk round video and he made it easy to reach agreement on the part exchange value.
As Truro is some distance from our home in Leicestershire, very kindly he suggested that he met us for the handover at their Exeter dealership which took place yesterday.
Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Darren. He rang later that day to make sure we had arrived home safely and were happy with the car.
To sum up, easy to deal with, no hard sell on all the profitable extras you don't need.
I wish only that Vertu Truro was my local dealer.

Sales consultant was excellent

Sales consultant was excellent; patient, friendly and knowledgeable. From hearing our driving practices we were recommended the hybrid model which we wouldnt have considered. Selection available and showroom was great. Highly recommended.

I Was sold a car by Virtus tudor. and Audi A3. 2014 Without no service history on a criticla Audi part

CAR MONEY sold me a car on HP from a car dealer call VERTUS Motors in good faith and put on a warranty plan that was incorrectly setup. The car was sold to me on 53400 miles, with service history only for basic service.
I asked the salesman. do i need to service he said no its been service. first of all on receiving the car there was 3 bolt not been screwed down after the final check before delivering the car to me , the told the apologies it was and mechanics fault. what i had an accident with family members in my car. lets move on. i was told previously by another dealership make sure the audi DSG/Mechatronic unit is service, becasue it can be expensive. the Sale at V

But you put me to a warrantywise car company just 2 even before the car arrived at my address, that was not fully cover under warranty guidelines and not under FCA.
The car I bought was arrange to be put under warranty wise warranty you introduced me to .
The warranty company guidelines stated they would not put a car under the warranty without full service history including specific Audi parts, this I was not aware.i was told that was not
Between yourselves and warranty wise they ignore their own guidelines and put my car under warranty without requesting a 40,000 miles service history of a major Audi part called the Mechatronics unit as well the normally service history .

So when as the salesman at VERTUS if the car if the this part was service , i was told this part didnt need servicing. but i wasnt aware of this , but after 40,000 the car must a service and oil change on the Mechatronc unit. i bought the car without this being don, but the sale told me specifically didnt need doing it was all part of the final service before delivering the car to me.
But after 3or 6 month warranty had expired after having the car, a few months after i had a problem, iwas in the car with my mother when the car stopped , lucking i was going at a slow speed. the mechatronc unit died. so. thinking my car warranty wise covered this I claimed a warranty repair for the same Mechatronics unit I was told by warranty wise there’s no service history for the part that needs repair. so the Salesman lied to me they declined the request, even though at the beginning of setting up my plans they the only asked for the annual service history for car that I produce for the past 4 years.
My Warranty wise claim was declined then had to pay £5400 out my pocket leaving me financially in difficulties.
I would like a good will redress and gesture to be discussed for the mental stress I have suffered compensation , including repair cost I endure for having to pay for the car repair even though I
i was Made to believe by the sales this part diddnt need service .

I was then told buy motor easy another warranty company. and tandem who finance my car purchase that Car money and or VERTUS motors dealership failed to make me aware to get the important part service as it had done over the required mileage recommended by audi as it had not service history for the failed part after 40,000miles . i was made to believe I purchase a warranty package that cover this Major Repair.
. but when i contact your regional manager Dominic and show him evidence by email sent back and forth by the sales man Paul who delivered the car to me suddenly was moved to a different department. but the regional manage made excuses for the company and Paul and igored my email evidence. As well know company i would like your complaints depart to take this serious and look into the redress for grave inconvenience and financial worries.

just to add a reminder
Before I purchased the vehicle, the VERTUS dealership failure to service Audi major car part at 40000, before it was sold to me after it had done 53,400 miles . I was told By two Gear clutch specialist this lack of service
had caused the dirty oil to affect dgs gear unit, so as the warranty wise company mentioned
This would cause the part to malfunction after the 40000 millage had reached without a dsg service.
selling the vehicle without this checking or servicing the unit , the fault would increase get worse without the service.
There are service and mot done to cars for that purpose , but the dealer ignore the service of the gear unit , and failed to inform me and sold the car to me or you. as a customer. i trust the salesman to be honest and upfront when i asked him the question about had that unit been service and i was told it didnt need to be done which was not the truth it had past the 40,000 without that audi main part service . after i reached out to Dominic. the regional sales to investigate this ,he was embarrassed that I knew what question to ask Paul about the Mechatronic unit not being serviced. and tried brush it off , and tried to make excuses. i would like the matter looked into this as established dealership ,I have had stress and no peace.

A memorable experience.

I have just purchased a Range Rover Evoque Hybrid from Vertu Land Rover, Truro and the experience from beginning to end was very positive. On arrival at their showrooms I was offered a coffee by their receptionist and was then introduced to one of their salesmen who was very friendly and interested in finding out what I was looking for. Nothing pushy. Just helpful and knowledgeable. I told him that I was interested in a Hybrid and he explained what was on offer. From this followed an informative test drive in one of their vehicles which I very much liked the look of and the next day after reflection I decided to make a purchase.
On the day when I arrived to pick up the car I was introduced to the Manager who thanked me for my purchase and then came a short handing over ceremony and the unveiling of the car, which was looking immaculate.
It is now a few days later and I can look back at what was a very pleasant experience with a company that I really do feel that I can trust.
