What an amazing experience from start…
What an amazing experience from start to finish! A Honda Type R was never originally at the top of my list, but after arriving at Vertu Honda Truro, Oscar kindly arranged a test drive for me upon request — and I instantly fell in love with the car.
Oscar went above and beyond and managed to find one in the fleet all the way in Boston. Deposit down, deal struck, and incredibly, the very next day the car arrived in Cornwall ready for another drive. From that moment, I knew this was the one.
I’ve always loved the Type R, and although I didn’t buy one back in 2015, a little later in life this became my dream car… and now it’s finally my car!
I want to say a huge thank you to all of the team at Vertu Honda Truro, and especially Oscar, who was absolutely 100% throughout the entire experience. Fantastic customer service, genuine enthusiasm, and a truly memorable journey to owning my dream car. Can’t stop smiling!!!

The car has been great, BUT!!!!
Toyota Yaris GR (Circuit Pack)
The car has been great, I will say though, I’m not that impressed with the condition I received it in.
The interior was grubby and dirty under the carpets, the paintwork and wheels had a rinse off at best with lots of dirt and road build up on the body and door shuts.
Although I enjoy keeping my vehicles clean myself, I would expect better for a 30k purchase.
Edit: Response was that if I don’t increase my Trustpilot rating it would reflect on the sales team, what an awful company mentality!

The team at Vertu were very welcoming and helpful.
There wasn't any pressure to purchase.

Great service
I spoke to Andy on the phone initially, he booked me an appointment with Kathryn. She was lovely, she wasn't pushy she walked away and allowed us time to talk and think. Andy even introduced himself whilst I was waiting.
I purchased a second hand car, the process was easy, I was offered extras some I declined and some I chose to have. Collection was easy.
I had a small issue a few days after and it is being resolved swiftly. Definitely recommend them.

Buying something expensive is a big…
Buying something expensive is a big deal to us, anxiety inducing, but Oscar at Honda Truro made this a very pleasant experience. He was very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. On the day we drove away our ‘new to us’ car, along with a tour of the controls, he synced both our phones. We spoke to other members of staff and all were really lovely. 5 stars all round. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Our sales advisor Oscar was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. On the handover he went through all the controls and made sure we were safe to drive away.

I was the very proud owner or a Honda…
I was the very proud owner or a Honda Civic 1l Vetec Turbo which very sadly and catastrophically broke down 3 weeks ago. As you can imagine I was devastated. The team as Vertu Honda Cornwall, in particular Oscar were amazing and helped me through a very difficult time. I wasn't intending to part with my "Baby Bruce". My beloved car in such sad circumstances.
After some discussions with my partner who has helped me fund a new car, I decided on a bright red 1.5 Civic sport. It arrived promptly in Cornwall and Oscar made the hand over extremely special. Thank you to your team, I am sure that myself and Bruce jr, will also have hours of fun together and we sight see around the UK.

Fabulous experience with Honda Vertu Truro
I’ve been buying cars from Honda Truro for a number of years now and my latest experience was excellent as usual. Really helpful and friendly staff and they made the car purchasing process very smooth. Kathryn Mason was superb in working with me to buy the car from start to finish. She never tried to hard sale and was open and honest throughout.
The whole team at Honda Truro are brilliant - Elliot, Andy and the lovely lady that drove some paperwork to my house. They even did an unveiling of my new car which was so lovely.
I would definitely recommend buying a car from here.
