HDR claim.

Lack of communication. Said they would support me though the repair process. Once they got their commission they wanted out. Repairs were supposed to be completed by 11th July 2025. Landlord did not start work until the 7th July. Work is still not completed. They told me not to accept compensation from my landlord, so as not to effect my breach of contact case. Then they dropped the breach of contract case anyway. Repairs still not done, and Veritas have walked away with no communications. Money grabbing bunch, that don't care if your repairs get done or not...

On july 22/07/25 I was decanted from my property because of damp and mould, Veritas solicitor acting on my behalf, hafizul uddin was my representative to Peasbody housing, he was through very supportive made me feel reassured at all times today 20/11/25 I finally got a result thank you

I used these services when I was struggling to get works done e in my council property, as was becoming stressful to deal with the council, and living in a property with problems, was causing alot of stress and as a busy working mother with two children, I diddnt have the time to battle with getting what I needed done, I initially went through veritas just to get the work done, but they represented me and dealt with the council on my behalf and I quickly got the essential work done, and was also compensated, as I would not of been able to do it myself I was more than happy to pay the small fee, and the communication and responses from them was first class, and very thankful to them. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends, if you are having problems with disrepairs in your property definitely use this company. ⚠️ Stay far away from this dodgy company! They act nice at the start, but the moment it matters, they vanish — no updates, no communication, no professionalism. They’re more like pushy market traders than a proper business. Total waste of time. If I could, I’d slap them with a 0️⃣ stars rating!

My car finance claim has been going for over 3 years. Way before the Aug 2025 Supreme Court decision. They’ve had plenty of time in advance. 10k I overpaid in commissions.

I found veritas employee's very efficient in all aspects of my case They managed to get all my repairs done also I even got a financial payout, which was much aporeciated.
My case handler who's name is shall mention Shabana was wonderful her phone voice+manner were very calming si no matter how anxious I got she always remained professional and reassuring.

Great job keeping me updated and getting me the best outcome for my circumstances. Would definitely recommend this solicitors to anyone.

My issue with this company is the constant lack of communication.

I have rang many times and spoke to a few different staff who kept saying the case handler will get in touch. Unfortunately they never get in touch.

I was told the case handler is off sick, they had surgery.

Next time I rang I was told the case handler is on annual leave and they will be back to work at such date. Appointments was booked a few times for them to contact me, they never call, they never reply to my emails. It seems like all my effort falls on deaf ears.

A few staff are unable to tell me what is happening with my case. They kept referring me back to the case handler who does not even update me.

I have asked a few times for the management to contact me instead, I heard nothing.

This is been going on for almost three months now and prior to that.
I am getting fed up of it all. Hence the poor review.

I regret choosing veritas solicitors, this is the biggest mistake of my life. I wish I had gone elsewhere.

I don't know what's happening with my case and it is not nice to constantly ignore customers emails, lack of response and ignore customers requests, do not acknowledged customers and to leave customers in the dark.

This company has a very poor communication skills.

Also lack of organisation. They need to workout how to liaise with their customers in the absence of a particular staff, and answer queries, or at least get a staff to cover the person who is off.

I am not happy with Veritas solicitors at all.
